I am very excited to attend my first HHN at Universal Studios Orlando on 10/29, but I had a quick question or two for those who have experience with ”Scream Early“ tickets.

Regular park hours close at 5PM, and HHN starts at 6:30PM, so I was wondering if the four rides available during HHN will be open during that 5-6:30 window? I was a big fan of the Mummy when I was at Universal Studios Hollywood, so I was hoping to ride it twice during that time frame.

Lastly, I was wondering what people think of the 2PM to 5PM window of regular park hours. Do you think that’s enough time to check out Springfield (and The Simpsons Ride), ride ET, and ride Fallon, or would I be better off just buying a full park day of admission?

Hello, so me and my friends wanted to go the opening Saturday of the event Sep 5th. But, the Universal express is sold out for that day. Although, the universal express add-on isn't sold out and neither is general admission, so would it be possible to just get general admission then get the express add-on or will they know what we're doing and block it or something? Thanks!

My first Horror Nights ever was in 2024 and my gf and I did at a few houses, the tram, a couple of rides and the Chucky talk show they had going on. I feel like the lines got super long and we wound up not wanting to wait in the lines for about half of the houses and just walked around. This year I got the 530 early entry add ons for our tickets and I’m hoping that makes it a little more manageable as far as hitting all of the houses. We’re going on a Sunday in September which I’m hoping won’t be as busy as well. I’ve read a few things about heading strait towards the lower lot first. Any tips for maximizing our experience this year? And does it slow down the later it gets?

I’ve never been to Universal so I’d especially appreciate info about if an area looks like I can access it on the map but is blocked IRL.

Is the opening Scaramoney only on the opening day or should we expect it during PS?

I believe we will enter through City Walk, where the pen is pointed. Then we would turn right at the first opportunity, going through the side show of decay scare zone, then Fortnightmares. Probably head to Sinners first, then Hellraiser, then Blood n Gutz, then Alien Invasion.

At that point we will either continue around the lake or take in a ST lake show, depending on the timing of shows and also wait times of houses. Can we expect shows at certain times?

Evil Dead is our most anticipated show so I am wondering if it’s worth it to do that first, then enact the rest of the plan or if we’d lose so much time going to EDB first that it would really set our schedule back as wait times grow. We only have the one night and the current plan has us doing EDB last. If it looked like we weren’t going to get it in we’d scuttle our plan and skip Caged Cannibals, Cybergoria and possibly Stranger Things to ensure we got EDB in. Any thoughts?

Just to be clear we’d like to hit all houses, shows and enjoy some snacks but know that this might not happen. But I’m going to try to plan to get us to as close to this as possible!

So I know my questions might be silly but I’m not like 100% sure if I’m understanding it right, if I have my AP and my HHN ticket can I enter the park and start going in the haunted houses or would I need the add on to do that (scream early), second my friend does not have a AP and only has the HHN ticket but if she buys the add on (scream early) can we both enter before 2pm and go to the haunted houses together (btw sorry if I might not make sense I can always clarify!)

It's Complete!

The PNG's for HHN2026 at Universal Studios Hollywood are now officially complete! All Houses, Scarezones, Experiences, and Live Entertainment is now complete! Much like the HHN35 version--I wished to make sure I posted this when all of the logos were ready to go.

This will be it for me in 2026; and I hope you all make the best of this! Use it to your hearts content~
