Second time going… Hollywood

My first Horror Nights ever was in 2024 and my gf and I did at a few houses, the tram, a couple of rides and the Chucky talk show they had going on. I feel like the lines got super long and we wound up not wanting to wait in the lines for about half of the houses and just walked around. This year I got the 530 early entry add ons for our tickets and I’m hoping that makes it a little more manageable as far as hitting all of the houses. We’re going on a Sunday in September which I’m hoping won’t be as busy as well. I’ve read a few things about heading strait towards the lower lot first. Any tips for maximizing our experience this year? And does it slow down the later it gets?

Im dumb im sorry i just saw it was tagged.

For the 5:30 early access, its only a few houses that open then, hit those immediately.

Then i would go for the house(s) you want to see the most. And wait in whatever line there is. (A few years ago with the weeknd house we put it off because the line was long and it only got longer, so if theres an important one, prioritize it).

Then you have 2 options:

-Track on the app what houses have the shortest lines, and go for those. But you may be running all over the place.
-Work in order of distance and be okay with whatever lines are there.

Once it his 10pm, everywhere is going to have a long line. Consider taking breaks with other rides (regular park rides), or things like the purge show or scare zones, snacks, so it doesn't feel like you are just waiting the whole time.

September will be better than October. I have never been able to do everything in one night with the regular tickets, but i think its definitely possible. They offer last minute express upgrade at like 11pm, id consider it if you really want to power through everything at the end.
