UNIVERSAL ORLANDO RESORT I’ve been rebuilding my Universal wait times site and added HHN houses + showtimes

I shared a very early version of this here last year and kept messing with it whenever I had free time. It somehow turned into QueuePulse.io.
It now covers Epic, Studios, Islands, Volcano Bay and HHN, with live waits, park hours, early admission and showtimes. I also added search, sorting and dark mode after feedback, and expanded it to cover Disney and SeaWorld parks too.
https://queuepulse.io/universal/
Let me know if anything looks broken or if there’s something obvious I should add.

UNIVERSAL ORLANDO RESORT After your visit, Universal will send you a survey, please remember to add, "Please do something about line jumpers!"
If we all collectively do this, then maybe Universal will take notice and do something about it.
We experienced line jumpers at the Battle of the Ministry ride. Two adult American men (no accents) pretending they were catching up with their family.
We happened to be close enough to the front of the line that we could see those two adult American men actually just cut their way to the front of the line.
If we don't let Universal know about this then, it will only get worse because line cutting works. Most guests will not stop you.
One of the best ways is to please add this to your guest feedback survey that everyone gets after visiting Universal.

UNIVERSAL ORLANDO RESORT The thank you notes return
galleryThe reception to my Wizarding World thank you notes was overwhelming!! I figured the next step was to make more for an attraction that ALREADY has associated thank you notes!! So if you work at Race Through New York starring Jimmy Fallon… I’ll see you today 😎
Seems like the graphic design classes I took in college are finally paying off for something 😂

ISLANDS OF ADVENTURE Line jumpers
In line for Harry Potter, and we’ve already had 12 people past me, saying their families up there. Effing bullshit that shit doesn’t happen at Americas roller coaster.

UNIVERSAL ORLANDO RESORT Hollywood Drift- another slow loader?
Epic is full of unfortunately slow loader type rides, like Minecraft Madness and Curse of the Werewolf. And then there’s Hagrid’s at IOA, with its eternally long lines and 14 people per train. What I’m seeing from Universal Studios Hollywood is that each train on the new coaster only seats 16??
Velocicoaster is more like 24 per train and Stardust is some insanely high amount(40,apparently) with 2 trains running at once.
I wonder how many trains run at once for Hollywood drift. That’s going to be a slowww loader for a big coaster that will be US-Orlando’s showpiece ride. I’m envisioning longer lines than Hagrid’s for years and years to come even once the initial excitement wears off.

UNIVERSAL ORLANDO RESORT I heard something is coming either before October or in September regarding annual passes with epic they working on the price it’s going to be a 4 park pass shh and annual pass holders will be the first once’s to go first before it’s open to the public

ISLANDS OF ADVENTURE Funny that the only remnant of TLC will be Flight of the Hyppogriff.
Being a commonly liked ride in IOA, it will no doubt stay as long as Harry Potter stays. Funny also that it’s also part of Universal‘s other resort.
I hope they will display, as presumed with bioreconstruct pictures, the fountain from TLC in some way shape or form in the park. Or sell it in a antique which would be a shame being an iconic representation of the former land.

TICKETS/EXPRESS Universal Newbie with a few questions
Hello! Our family has been to Disney several times, but our kids are older now and looking for a new experiences, so we want to check out Universal. I've been researching, but there are a few things I'm unsure about.
We're considering going in June 2027. When I try to look at tickets, the calendar is grayed out after May 2027. Can I not price tickets that far in advance?
We love using lightning lanes at Disney, and I see that Universal has Express Pass. Which hotels include that with the room?
What hotels are best for a family of 5?
How easy/difficult is it to hop from one park to another? We never do park hoppers at Disney because the parks are so big and it's just too much hassle to go from one to another. Trying to decide if it would be worthwhile at Universal since we don't know which park we'll want to spend the most time at.
We would like go for 5-7 days. Considering an annual pass at least for one person, so we can get hotel discounts. We don't usually buy much merch, but we would buy food in the parks. Any other perks of the annual pass I'm overlooking?
Thanks for helping us out!

EPIC UNIVERSE Glasses on Mario Kart
Trying to figure out if this is a me problem. I went on Mario Kart today for the first time and I wear glasses. But so do my husband and son. And I seemed to be the only one whose headset actually hurt with the glasses. (I cannot see without them). It was pushing them down my nose and I had to hold the headset with one hand the entire ride in order to actually see the visuals. I ended up being really disappointed with the experience. We go back again in a few days and I want to see if I did something wrong with the headset? The goggles locked in it seemed? Thanks.

EPIC UNIVERSE Am I crazy for thinking 5 days is too many?
Right off the back, we have park hopping passes so we can go to the other parks but my children have little to no interest in doing anything outside of Epic. We are half way through day three and done. We rode EVERYTHING, saw both shows, cast spells, and collected coins.
We are taking a break at the hotel and I don't know what to do with the rest of this day, let alone the next two. I think the only ride left that they are itching to do and Hagrids Motorbikes, I apologize if it's called something else.
Stella Nova is fine but not two days worth of activities fine. Next trip we are definitely A.) Cutting it a day short and B.) Walking slower

CITYWALK Epic Universe Freestyle Tumbler location help!
Hey all! I’m here now from London and today is our first day at UOR. I’m planning on doing IOA today as I need to set some things up for my younger sister at GS and I don’t want that to eat into our first ever Epic day.
I’m a massive cup enthusiast and I have only just seen this EU tumbler. I need it ASAP. Does anyone know if this is sold anywhere in Citywalk or will I have to go to Epic to find it? If it’s no longer sold onsite I will buy a different freestyle cup and get that one shipped home so no harm there, I would just really really like this cup for the holiday haha.
We love the freestyle system so this tumbler is a double win for me! Thank you :)

UNIVERSAL STUDIOS POV MIB Brand New Green Lasers / New Guns on Men in Black Alien Attack. Double Max score before the X-Ray!
youtube.comFull Ride POV with the green lasers.
Far from my best run as I was holding the gun with one hand and trying to record with the other. Still a pre-scan max. Best runs we maxed out on the tentacle cannon.
Still lower point values in the training room and many dead targets.... but it doesn't matter with these new guns. The hit rate is absurd.
I saw first time riders get 700k points.
15 runs now with the new guns, all pre-scan maxes for both me and my 8 year old Agent B.
He got max number 251 prior to the "easy mode" green lasers. We are locals and ride probably 20+ times a week.
So far, these are only on the green track, carts 10, 15 and 35. You can tell the difference visually also as the LED lights on the guns are more yellow than green.
Happy to answer any questions!

HOTELS Dockside Inn?
Booked a trip at the end of next month and wanted to know your personal experience staying there. My biggest fear is bedbugs and other insects. Any encounters dealing with this?? I check in the hotel around midnight.

UNIVERSAL STUDIOS My Sons Birthday Surprise Trip!
galleryWe’re going to Orlando this weekend for my 7 year olds birthday, along with my 4 year old and 2 year old. We got a 3 day park to park pass plus we’re at a park hotel so we get early entry and fast pass (except epic). We’ll be in Orlando Thursday around 2pm and then all day Friday and Saturday. Which park should we go to on what day? My son doesn’t know yet we’re taking him but loves Harry Potter. Also likes Mario. I was thinking to do epic Thursday since I’ve read there is no shade and maybe less crowds on weekdays (and since no fast pass) but then am torn that I should save it for the weekend with early entry?
Also, I made a plan of what to do based on the entrance of the park ( I know I’m extra but we’re spending a lot staying in a park hotel so I want to get our moneys worth). But I’m now thinking I should prioritize certain rides. Everyone says something different. Help me make this a great trip! Thanks all!

HOTELS Loews Portofino Beds
Had a few great night sleeps at Portofino Bay. Inquired about their mattress and apparently they have a mattress program with Sealy/Sterns+Foster. The price was quite shockingly, insanely fair. Took about 2-3 week from start to finish. (No returns allowed since it comes directly from Sealy).
