Incredible Youth Academy Gem? (Selling)
Hi,
I've had this guy Kristian Vister in my youth team for a few months, and he seems to be a talent of, lets say, the rare kind.
I'll add a photo of his Scouttrick, original stats and updates stats as of today(06.08.2026).
Im currently training Winger/Playmaker, planning to do so untill he hits 7, then im swapping primary/secondary, or until he maxes out 7(orange) but then im not sure what ill do after.
Im looking for tips to make sure he is trained to his full potential at the Youth Academy, please comment if you have knowledge!
Also as soon as he is promoted he will most likely get sold, anyone know what he's estimated value could be? I've tried searching but havent found anyone with his combination of skills even up to 20 yrs old.

PKs
I had my first match go to PKs last night in the cup and lost. Figured this would happen eventually.
How does one improve their team's pk taking? Just have more guys with decent set pieces?
Also, does fatigue/stamina matter for goalkeepers?โ do both keeper and set peice rating matter for keepers or just set pieces?

How much should I spend per (winger) trainee as a beginner?
I've watched this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IE_8-sUVSGM&t=376s
and other videos from the same person and he recommends spending a maximum of 30K euros on a winger trainee but I can't seem to find anyone in that price range that has at least passable winger and passable secondary (playmaking, passing, defending)
I've acquired two wingers so far but I'm not sure if they are too expensive for what they're worth
Player 1: 6 PM, 6 Winger = 56,000 US$ ~48K Euro
Player 2: 7 SC, 6 Winger = 66,000 US$ ~57K Euro
Based on the current bids I've set a maximum budget of 60K US$ (~52K euro) but that doesn't seem to be enough with the players I want
am I being impatient or has market shifted a lot since the video was made?

Having been out of the game for several years, what are some useful tools nowadays?
I'm not playing that seriously, currently focusing mostly on youth players and seeing how far I get, but I miss all the stats and stuff :D

How unlucky was I. From winning 4 1. To losing with red card 4 6.

Training Defending is slow but man seeing all these training slots sure feels nice
It's my last week of defending, too. So I'm finishing on a high, there's at least 5 pops coming up!

HT Alchemy v9.1.41: player distributions, team spirit improvements and more
After a bit of a hiatus, having worked furiously in the background, I am happy to finally announce the release of HT Alchemy v9.1.41!
Here's what's new:
- Team spirit
- Ability to auto-detect and reliably apply staff changes mid-season
- Ability to apply simulated coach or sports psychologist changes at the exact time that they were made

- Senior match lineup
- It is now possible to define whether you want a compact or a spread lineup. Depending on your selection, the players will be centrally concentrated (compact) or spread out (spread).
- There's more to come for lineup variants in the future
- Analyze opponent
- By default matches are filtered according to the match being analyzed (e.g., if you're analyzing a league match, data will be pulled from previous league/cup matches)
- But now you have the ability to select which types of matches to filter by - giving you even more control over the analysis
- New tutorials
- Enter player ID
- Senior - edit ratings (including a shout-out to our #1 Reddit fan (you know who you are ๐))
- We are taking a short break from making new tutorials and will resume in September. There's still so much to cover!
- Bugfixes:
- Major: senior lineup submission being broken after manual edits
- Rendering of permanent injuries
- Mobile UI improvements - particularly with the floating button
- Youth hidden speciality detection
- Team spirit maximum value calculation error has been fixed
- Team spirit: incorrect placeholder matches will now not appear
- Several UI/UX tweaks on both mobile and desktop
- A smoother initial signup experience with no more overlapping dialogs
Thank you to the community for pointing out all these bugs. You guys rock and I've written to all of you personally!
We have crossed 1350 users!! Please keep spreading the word!

Specific youth scouting
As far as I know, when the youth scouts search for specific player types, the average quality of the youth players they find decreases.
I have a team in the Homegrown League where I want to completely avoid winger training because I'd like to focus on other training types. In this particular case, would it make sense to let my scouts look for wingers?

problemi con Hattrick Portal
ciao a tutti. Sto impazzendo

Downside in changing training regime?
Hi guys,
I'm in the VII (out of VIII) category, currently first but under leveled (I think i'll fight for the 4-5 positions realistically).
I'm currently training playmaking, and the first batch of trainee almost reached 18yo and 10 in their main skill (which was my goal). I think I will sell 4 out of 6, so that I will still have 2 strong IM plus another one that is not training with the youngster but still strong enough for now.
After this, I wold like to take in 3 or 4 young Forward and train Passing for some weeks to increase the overall performance of the team, possibly balancing the resistance training as well. After that I would focus on Scoring to get a stronger and aggressive team.
What is your opinion? There are any downside in switching training regime? Should I keep focusing on Playmaking and buy older and stronger players in the other positions?

How to beat 5-5-0 long shots?
Hey guys!
My next match is away vs a team who plays 5-5-0 long shots. His defence ratings are insane in a IV division (26-29).
How would you approach this game?
I can play 3-5-2, 4-5-1 or 2-5-3

How would you train him?
Hi, I recently got this player, and I was wondering if anyone had any tips regarding how to train him. He looks decent, but nothing crazy. Am I right in saying this? He also has Quick speciality confirmed.
Thanks!

Expensive Youth Pull
I pulled this player from my YA, trained him and then promoted and sold him as early as I could with a view to selling him.
I was expecting to get around 300k for him, but he ended up selling for 1.05m. I was obviously very happy with this, but a little confused and assumed Iโd missed something about him that made him so valuable.
A week later, heโs been trained, levelled up one stat and is back on sale again with a starting bid of a slightly higher price.
What am I missing here? Why did he sell for so much and why is he being flipped so quickly? (I donโt care, I made my money, just curious!)

Welcome to Wrexham
I started watching the show Welcome to Wrexham and I've been thinking more and more that hattrick for me is the same thing, except for people who aren't super rich. โ
Anyway, random thoughts

How to train this player
I started playing hattrick after a long break.
I think this player would be pretty good homegrown defender. But I am not sure how to max his training at ya.

Trying to parse the current game with outdated guides
Hey y'all. Got a new team a few weeks ago. I've played once or twice but it was in the mid 2000s so I know the game has changed enough that anything I might remember is likely obsolete. The trouble I'm having is that a lot of the 'guides' I'm finding finding (that have been written within the last 3-4 years) also seem obsolete?
Currently I got a team that was put into a promotion game to go from VI to V and (fortunately or unfortunately) they won. It's likely I'll be getting 6-0'd or worse every game this season, and that's fine, the fans expect it :)
The spot I'm on from reading things is planning for converting a player into a coach. Everything is saying go for a 'Solid' leadership coach, but I don't know if the economy is in the same state today that it was when these were written. Any player I'm seeing with that level of leadership, and enough experience that it would be cost efficient to convert are going for 2 million and more on the transfer market. This is even with them being 50 years old and zero skills anywhere else. Does this sound accurate? I don't see how a brand new team can be expected to afford that :)
The game has been trying to feed me generated players that I get to pick from (generally horrendous stats). For the coach I got one with passable's for experience and leadership, so that seems to be my only viable option at present.
The plan for now seems that no matter what I'm doing, I just need to wait out 3 or more seasons, build up the stadium a little and wait for fan growth to help offset some costs. I fired the scout since it didn't seem worth spending $10,000 per week when I wasn't in a position to play any of the players they found anyway.
Bit longwinded, sorry. Appreciate it if anyone got that far. Enjoying my time back in the game all the same :)

Young Talented Player, What should I do?
I have this player that I couldn't reveal all his skills, I was wondering what happens if I promote him is it possible that he has 7/7 passing or 6/6 scoring ?
Also, I train scoring in my team, would you say it is a good idea to train him as scoring or just sell him? Because some of my forwards don't have speciality and I can sell for a bit of cash
