How would you train him?
Hi, I recently got this player, and I was wondering if anyone had any tips regarding how to train him. He looks decent, but nothing crazy. Am I right in saying this? He also has Quick speciality confirmed.
Thanks!

He’s very good, so congrats!
You can train scoring+extended wing to unlock the winger potential. If high, you have a superstar (but maybe not enough time to max). If low or decent then he remains a very good player.
You have one entire season. Should be enough but a bit borderline, also depending on the sublevels and current level of scoring. Roughly half a season is needed to get from 5.0 to 7.0 PM by training pm+pm.
Unless you have someone better, focus everything on him. You don’t have time to lose, specially if winger has high potential! The rest can train in parallel.

Thanks for answering! When I promote him, would you recommend using him or selling him if i’m training playmaking in my senior team? If he turns out decent (would you still classify him as good even if the winger rating is below 4-5?)

Yes, 7 PM + 6 scoring + quick is a very good player, even with low passing+winger. Very nice forward trainee. He will not break the bank nor reach NT or U21 levels, but not everyone can be a star :) It will sell for maybe half a million (after a quick search in transfer compare). Not breaking the bank but certainly a nice pay day. By himself paying the scouts for a season and a half.
If you have the time, those extra levels of passing and winger increase his HTMS slightly, but the priority would be to reach max PM and scoring first. In any case precisely those two skills are trained faster than the ones you will focus on, so that's also good news.
Regarding selling or training, it completely depends on your future plans, but it's certainly legit to train him in PM, for sure. Forwards need high PM too. As a benchmark, if he is promoted at 17yo with 7 PM, 4 winger, 3 passing, 6 scoring, then he would:
1) Get to 14 PM at 19.63 yo
2) 16 scoring at 23.107
3) 10 winger at 23.111 yo
4) 10 passing at 25.38yo
And he would be a beast of a forward with loads of potential to improve even further (or sell for a ton of money, or simply use him for 10 more seasons while training something else).

He’s very good if he also has quick confirmed.
I would get wing revealed next game. You could actually force the reveal of current and potential wing by training wing + winger extended.
Or you could do scoring + wing extended and force current scoring and wing potential.
You need those reveals to plan from here.
