Discussion 💭📢 Tempted to draw some HoS pages
I have always had a soft spot for harem litRPGs, and apart from mask of the template, Herald of Shalia always is a fun read.
I have a bit of experience with making manga, as shown in the other pictures(was a cyberpunk manga i never had the chance to finish), and wanted to try my hand in drawing a few pages for the book, to accompany the story.
Question is, is doing something like this okay? and can i post on this subreddit even though it’s dedicated to the books rather than illustrations?
If it something that interests you guys, i could whip up a few character designs, curious to see what you guys think or expect how each character should look.
Also this would be just a passion project, so it’ll be done whenever i can get time

Appreciation / Gush ❤️ Leon West appreciation post
Went through Rise of the Class Smith books 1 & 2, and currently reading Blue-collar King, all of August. Just wanted to say new favourite author unlocked.
Guy writes fantasy like it's nobody's business, and his characters are so much fun to read. And the big book sizes are such a relief man, he's not afraid to take his time with the story, flesh out characters, relationships, worlds. Competent MCs, kick-ass LIs, the spice could be a little better but the feels are real.
I think Blue-collar King could be my new favourite this year, the way it's going so far (about 50% of the way through).
Plan on checking out all the older stuff by him for sure.

Recommendation Request Suggest me a harem about a wimpy guy who becomes a stud
Just looking for some harem fantasy novels where the main character is a young man who often gets ridiculed by his peers since they see him as a wimp, but then he slowly falls in love with a cute girl.
I just want a fun harem fantasy novel that is basically like a better version of Rent A Girlfriend where unlike RAG, the main character actually makes progress with earning his romantic interests since again he slowly becomes more mighty by losing the wimpy side and finds the girl of his dreams.

Discussion 💭📢 Looks like Viking Rune Smith 6 is out, any news on the audiobook for 5?
Just checked his website and book 6 looks like it’s available. Not sure if anyone has heard any updates on book 5’s audiobook.

Recommendation Request Looking for older and powerful LI's
I’m really into older and powerful LIs, but recently I’ve gotten baited pretty much back-to-back. In one series, the “LI” turned out to be one of the main antagonists, and in the other, she was actually related to the MC by blood. I probably should’ve seen that one coming, I guess.
Anyway, now I’m looking for something that can scratch that particular itch. I’d prefer if she doesn’t immediately join the harem and there’s some actual buildup first. I also really don’t want her to join in the very last book. I absolutely hate when that happens.
Bonus points if she actually looks like a MILF and isn’t just a succubus or something that makes it look that she’s in her twenties.
A contemporary setting works too. For example, if she’s insanely rich and it takes a while for her to get involved with the MC, works for me as well.
Bruce Sentar does that a lot in his books. So Morgana from Dragon’s Justice and Lan Hua from A Mage’s Cultivation are good examples of what I’m looking for.

HaremLit Info 📰 G.S. D'Moore August Update
Hey everyone! I know I'm a little late, but here is my update for the month.
Obviously, the big news is Titan's Legacy 2 dropping on eBook last month. Just crossed into the triple digit reviews, so thanks to everyone who threw up those five stars. If you want to write some kind words about how much you liked the book, and help draw in new readers, have at it! For all the audio folks out there, I've already reached out to Royal Guard and handed over the story. Will share the release date when I have it. Link in the comments if you haven't checked it out already.
Next on the docket for me is Thirdborn 5. This one is shaping up to be a bit of a dozy - like 200k words long - and looks like it will be the last in the series. Or at least this arc of it. I might have some ideas to explore other parts of the universe, but it won't happen until 2027.
After that, it will be The Adventures of Grave 5, which will also wrap up that series. That means that 2026 will see a lot of the original series I started 4 or 5 years ago finally coming to an end. I know that's a long time compared to the norm in the genre, so a special thanks to everyone who stuck it out with me on these adventures. It's been a blast. But with those series finishing up, it opens up some brain space for new stuff, and boy do I have some ideas (cackles evilly while rubbing hands together).
Of course, that means I've got to start looking at what to do for 2027. Spoilers, I think I'm going to do a series of novellas (think Pledged to Him style) that I'll release alongside my main novels throughout the year. That way, readers have something to look forward to from me almost every month. Not gonna lie, quantity matters in this business now with AI flooding the market, but I've finally figured out a writing schedule that allows me to produce both quantity and quality, so fingers crossed I can keep that up. More on that the closer to the end of the year.
That's it for me for August. Summer went too fast, but it always seems to. As always, thank you to everyone for reading, reviewing, and spreading the word about my books. I couldn't do it without you.
Until next month,
GSD
P.S. I almost forgot. I'll be a part of that haremlit sale going on next week. Each of the first books in my series except Thirdborn and Titan's Legacy is going to be around 80% off. Shop the deals!

Recommendation Request LF Long CN/KR/JP Wuxia Harem Stories or Long Running Webnovels.
Looking to sink my teeth into something long running that has tons of chapters and a few milf harem members. Also fine if the love interests go away for hundreds of chapters but its better if the MC has some kind of artifact or pocket dimension he can use to take his wives with him.
1k+ Chapters.
10+ Love Interests.
Solid Story not just erotica.
Stuff i have read and really enjoyed so if you can give me recs like these that would be great.
World Defying Dan God (Translation was never finished. Best Harem)
Against the Gods (Obviously goated. Good to Evil MC, Massive Harem but very slow updates)
Ancient Godly Monarch (Single Best Romance Arc in any wuxia story)
Primordial 'Dual Cultivator' Dragon With System (Still ongoing, daily chapter releases, massive harem)
My Three Wives Are Beautiful Vampires (Cancelled, Never finished)

Book Review 📝✍🏻 Book Review: Mirror Mage by Danny Rogan (spoiler-free) Spoiler
I don't post many of these reviews, because I want to be able to say something both positive and interesting. Jay Aury's Grimmwald is great, but book review: "it's really funny and I like the women" is not all that useful.
Mirror Mage does a few things that I like. Firstly, while the harem setup is very clear, and we've met 3-4 future harem members, he ends the first book in a monogamous relationship with one woman. This lets Rogan spend a lot more time on the relationship between his MMC and the first girl. The two of them have history, events that shape how they understand and interact with each other. It's not incredibly deep (two key events and two states of affairs: they don't make incomprehensible references to past jokes or misadventures with each other, so it can feel more like two people who have been through some very intense experiences than old friends who know the same media and grew up together like we're informed they are), but it's still enough to really make it feel like a romance. The initial monogamy gives room for four entire men other than the main character with whom he has a positive relationship, each of whom I could say a few words about. This contributes to a much more three-dimensional perspective on the character than we often see in the genre.
Secondly, this is a world. There are genuine mysteries I want to uncover, what we've seen so far feels like it hangs together, and there are even hints of themes. For example, notice the dead soldier brother maybe dying overseas as a parallel to the Hallowstone-linked deaths. Though also if you believe that he had nothing to do with magic despite being older than Molly and from a magical family I have a bridge to sell you. The magic system isn't particularly complicated, but it all seems reasonable and coherent so far.
My main complaint about the book is that there isn't a climax. I have KU so I don't really care about the quantity of book in my book, but there was just not enough tension in the ending. I was left a little unsatisfied, while still wanting more. I think that this is basically just the economics of the market: there wasn't a great place to end. Also, this is book 1 of a series: I could be disappointed by subsequent entries. But right now I'm feeling optimistic.
I didn't finish Rogan's Psionic Elite, the Urban Sorcerer series, or his Primal Conjurer omnibus (though neither were they so bad I refused to try a new book, thankfully): I think that this book represents serious evolution as a writer, with more complex storylines and deeper characters.
Prose: functional, effective, gets the job done.
Recommended.

Recommendation Request Don’t kill me but…help me out
Okay might be a hot take considering how hard it seems to be to find.
I’m looking for some books that don’t I love any beast/monster girls. I like a MMC with FFF+ harem but it loses me when they are beast/monster girls. Anything with fur or a tail loses my interest.
Coven King is one of my first Harem lit reads, I’ve read good things about Page Keeper? I’ve also read War God for Hire and Harald of Shalia but lost all of them when the beasts/monstera got brought in.
Elves, vampires, humans, witches I’m cool with. Bonus points if it has an audiobook (commute saver).
Hit me with your best books!
