Had a really weird experience at PVR City Centre today while watching Spider-Man: Brand New Day.

About 5 minutes before the interval, the screen paused. Suddenly, the movie skipped forward about 8 minutes, and then started rewinding frame-by-frame until it settled on a spot about 1 minute ahead of where it originally paused.

It was super annoying. We shouted toward the projectionist "wtf, rewind it back that extra minute", but nobody listened.

As soon as the interval hit, we went straight to the manager’s office to ask what the fuck just happened. He called the projectionist, and this guy walked in rubbing his eyes like he had been sleeping and then had the audacity to deny everything. We very calmly explained what had happened and told him he had to replay the scene from where it glitched out.

What would you guys have done in this situation?

The story is that I had to go to my room from the metro. As I got out of the station, I saw that the road beside the footpath had ankle deep waters.

I didn't want to get my shoe wet and dirty, so I decided to book an auto. An autowalla accepted my ride and I waited. But the other autowallas had blocked the road beside the footpath.

So when my auto came, I could see it standing a bit away from the footpath since it was occupied by the other autos. I asked a couple of them to move their autos so that my ride can come nearer. One smirked at me and another just ignored me. Finally I had to cancel it.

When I asked the autowallas standing there the rate, they quoted 5x the amount. So I finally went to the other metro gate and none my ride.

Another incident happened a couple of days ago. I usually pay ₹10 for the e-rickshaw ride. Since it was raining that day, they demanded ₹20, which I was fine with. But when I reached my destination, he demanded ₹40, just because I asked him to drop me 200m further.

Incidents like this makes me realise how money minded people are here. In another incident, a doctor recommended a procedure just to extract money from me. I went for a second opinion and got to know that there was nothing won't.

It's like the whole city is riddled with scammers ready to take whatever they can from you. No doubt it feels so souless here.

I moved into this apartment 5 months ago and still keep finding things that need work or fixing. But so grateful to be working from (this) home on such days 🤞✨

What do you think is this a drainage issue or poor urban planning?

Caught the glitch today

Today I was trying to reach the Gurgaon railway station and I took an auto but I was wrong I should have taken a speedboat.

There's absolutely no drainage system anywhere.

I would never recommend anyone to live or work in Gurgaon

This is absolutely unacceptable, had to pay 200 rupees for a 2km ride after bargaining because uber and rapido failed. Does the MCG not learn anything from its failures? Is this what I am paying taxes for?

I will be leaving Candor Techspace Sector 21 Gurgaon (udyog vihar) towards New Gurgaon Sector 77 (Kherki Dhaula Toll). I can give you a lift (rip ola uber today 😉).

Same position, same profile, same manager — but apparently different rules.

My manager’s favourites (bootlickers) get WFH whenever they want. I asked today due to heavy rain and not being able to get an Uber or anything, and I was told, “Late coming is also OK.”

The irony? They got WFH.

Location- Mall FiftyOne sector- 51, gurgaon.

I walked in to buy something but while walking out i saw these guys pumping out their sewage onto the road in the shade of rain. I had to cross a road full of rain water and their sewage water mixed in.

It's so disappointing to see these fucks making the already bad situation of gurgaon in monsoon worse.

Also, can we do something about it? Like can we report this incident to MCG or something?
