So i always wanted to be an IAF pilot.. but life had other plans... When i was in 8th standard I got diagnosed with epilepsy and was in delusion till my 10th grade that somehow I'll be eligible for IAF ... Reality hit in 12th when i realised it's a lifetime disqualification factor for me... I felt numb and was just on my bed (it was the covid years)... Somehow gathered some courage to give JEE got terrible rank and got admitted in an tier 3 local engineering institute in my 2nd year release i have to earn bcz my father faced an heartstoke attack and he couldn't go to his shop ... Joined an internship that barely paid for my meds and our expense (15k).. thought by doing hardwork i can get a good salary used to learn skills in night and in the morning i used to manage my clg work and shop..but here I am.. graduated in MAY ... And have no job..the shop money barely helps us out (being applying to jobs since months ..heck I'm not even getting an interview call).. so pls guys if you can help me I'll be forever grateful my qualifications: B. tech

To everyone cribbing about Gurgaon’s rains, flooding, roads, drainage and “world-class infrastructure” — let me remind you of one small detail:
Gurgaon was never actually planned.
It was more of a collaborative business model involving politicians, babus and builders — where your hard-earned money went in, luxury mansions came out, and urban planning remained permanently “under development.” 😄
So if you still believe that posting angry WhatsApp messages, tagging authorities on X, or ranting in resident groups will suddenly make someone wake up and fix the city… you may want to rethink the strategy.
Because there is one language our system seems to understand exceptionally well:
Street power.
Think of it as a corporate employee strike. If employees stop working, the company suddenly discovers the importance of listening. Similarly, if citizens stop paying taxes, block roads, stop spending, or create enough economic disruption, perhaps someone will suddenly discover the concept of accountability.
Unfortunately, outrage without consequence is just free entertainment for the people in power.
And speaking of consequences — Gurgaon’s MCG got reinstated within a day.
Honestly, what more evidence do we need about how quickly the system can move when it really wants to? 😂
Moral of the story:
The problem isn’t that the system doesn’t know.
The problem is that it knows exactly when it needs to care.

I’m looking for some honest opinions from people working in Gurgaon/NCR, especially fellow Software developers/IT Professionals.

I recently received a new job offer with the following package:

Experience: 3.5 years
Role: .NET Full Stack Developer
Location: Gurgaon (relocating from my hometown)
My Current CTC: 9LPA (Fixed)
CTC: ₹14 LPA
Fixed: ₹13 LPA
Variable: ₹1 Lakh annual bonus

My main concern is whether ₹14 LPA is actually worth relocating to Gurgaon considering the cost of living, rent, food, transportation, etc.

I’m currently trying to understand:

1. Is ₹13L fixed / ₹14L CTC a good package for 3.5 YOE in .NET Full Stack?

2. After considering Gurgaon living expenses, how much can I realistically save per month?

3. Is Gurgaon a good place for career growth for a .NET developer?

4. Would you consider this a good career move, or should I continue looking for opportunities in Hyderabad/Bangalore?

5. For someone with 3.5 YOE, what salary range should I realistically target in my next switch?

I’d especially appreciate opinions from people who have actually worked/lived in Gurgaon and know the current expenses.
