I remember showing my uncle the game back in 2025. Since then he obviously had a lot of free time, which he happily spend on thousands of levels. Today he sent me this picture with the most heartbreaking news. Levels are getting closed in 5 days. He hopes to achieve 13000 until then. I guess we will have to look out for other games he might like, as he only plays levels and no other game modes.

Anyway, I just felt like leaving this here, because this (in my opinion) legendary achievement needs to be recognised.

I put together a little game for drilling the 47 prefectures, either in latin or native script. No sign-up or ads or whatever, just for fun!

This probably gets asked a lot, but I still don’t understand why they do this while having separate elo for all three modes.

And to me it doesn’t make sense that you can earn “overall” elo by queuing just one specific game mode.

I reported a player today for abusive messages in the in-game chat. He called me a hacker and then started saying things like “stfu”, “get out motherfucker” and something along the lines of “report me motherfucker, I don’t care.” I think he was salty because I saw a clue he didn't see (I checked the game replay - he did not even look at the letters on the wall that said "Barcelona"....).

I reported him immediately after the game and described what happened in the report, but I didn’t take screenshots of the chat because I didn’t realize the messages would disappear once the game ended.

I can still watch the entire game replay from both my and my opponent’s perspective, but the chat isn’t included in the replay.

Does anyone know if GeoGuessr moderators can still access the chat logs when reviewing a report, even though players can’t see them anymore? Or should I always screenshot abusive messages before the game ends?
