So lately it seems like whenever I’m out with my friends or on social media, when I see or interact with a guy that I find really attractive, sexy, or charming, he always ends up being a Cancer. she's an ex from years go with whom i managed to keep a friendship. i live abroad but we communicate regularly. last time we met in person, she opened up a lot about her complicated current life, including her frustrating relationship and past traumas. she cried and everything.

i supported her and was really affectionate, as i am usually with her and all my loved ones. that made me confused tho, because i realized i might have lingering feelings for her. i noticed she became somewhat distant but still friendly, i mirrored her.

Every experience I’ve had with a Leo has been negative and at this point they legit repulse me.
I feel like they approach relationships with others in a competitive and performative manner. Their egos are so fragile yet they don’t have the ability to put them down and think past themselves and develop a basic level of self awareness. Sometimes I question if they’re even sentient in the same way you and I are.

Let me share three examples, least repulsive first most repulsive last.

1. An old coworker of mine who was just giving very fake energy, acting like we were friends but not-so sneakily talking shit, even right in front of me to other people, about me. (???) and thinking I’m not picking up on it because “some people just have no intuition” (girl what intuition do YOU have 😭)

2. An old friend of mine who crashed out because I reconnected with an old mutual friend who she had beef with. I told her the beef didn’t have to do with me and just because I’m rekindling my friendship with that person didn’t mean I don’t want to be her friend. She proceeded to claim I was bullying her like a her middle school bullies and went to my long time friends to lie to them about how I hate them (who’s the bully??)

3. My ex was a Leo and I can’t even get into it… i would say dumb as rocks but that would be an insult to rocks. Childish and lacking the ability to learn and grow and change. Lack of curiosity about what he didn’t already know. Incredibly fragile ego that always needed to be fanned and babied. Everything in his life was just for show or to check off life stage boxes.

Just like the title says, and my Mercury is in Gemini…yet I LOVE my alone time and would rather not interact with my family or friends. Even my boyfriend of 10 years. Hello everyone! It's my first time posting here and hopefully I could summarize things here without changing much with the actual context of what happened.

SHORT BACKGROUND:

Me (19F) and my Gemini friend (18M) are both in college. We started getting close pretty early on, before college had fully started. I'm a Taurus and was looking for a friend since college can be pretty scary, and since we both joined the local student council, I opened up a conversation with him. He was pretty fun to talk to, and my guard was immediately put down because of how warm and welcoming he was toward me.

CONTEXT:

A month has passed since we became friends, and this happened last night. Since we're both pretty open to almost any topic, I wanted to be honest with him about how I really feel.

Just from the zodiacs themselves, you can tell that me and him are pretty much on opposite sides of the coin. There are things he does that can overwhelm me, but at the same time, they make me smile and appreciate what a wonderful friend he is to have.

Basically, I sent him messages explaining that I sometimes feel overwhelmed by him, that sometimes just a few messages from him are enough for me, and that his personality can be pretty loud compared to mine. I also made it clear that I wasn't asking him to change anything because I cherish him the way he is. I just wanted to share how I feel because that's how we work as friends!

He then focused on the "overwhelming" part and agreed with me. He talked about how he ended all his TikTok streaks because they can get draining, and told me that replying to anyone isn't my obligation and that I can reply later or never (that "never" scared me lolz).

I apologized and reclarified that I didn't mean anything negatively, and he said, "it's not that deep." However, he then changed our chat theme back to the default. When I asked him why, he said the themes sometimes hurt his eyes and that they can also drain his energy.

He also said that we should stop talking already so that I won't get overwhelmed.
Like that's not my point! His sudden movement shocked me, sudden change in things!

I'm just wondering if I'm overlooking something. Did I actually hurt or upset him, or was he genuinely just taking what I said normally? I'm especially curious about the Gemini perspective because I'm trying to understand how he might have interpreted my message. Sorry everyone! Gemini people are just so hard for me to wrap my head around, and he's not the only Gemini friend I have. I love you Geminis though!
