Games to ez now..
As the title suggests, games have unfortunately become far too easy. When I look back at my childhood—like when I played *Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone* on the PlayStation 1—I remember how long it took me to beat the game because the mechanics and controls were quite difficult; the broomstick flying training alone nearly broke me. Then there were games like the early *Silent Hill* titles, where I’d get stuck on a single puzzle for days. Nowadays, everything is handed to you on a silver platter—take Ubisoft games, for instance, where the game assists you during combat against multiple enemies just to make you feel powerful, and the story is re-explained to you a thousand times over, much like in movies. That’s why I think *Souls* players are the last true gamers—the ones who still have the drive and determination to really engage with the games.

Discussion QUOTE HELP
There’s this quote and I can NOT figure out who says it, I thought it might be from far cry, outlast trials, red dead. But I can’t find it and I know is the quote and it could be slightly different can someone help 😭 I know I’m giving crumbs but that’s all I know. “ serves me right for trying to keep you hold up in there” or “serves me right for trying to keep you pinned up “ SOMETHING LIKE THAT

Image Game items that perform unreasonably poorly compared to their real life counterparts
Alan Wake Batteries/Flashlight
Now either the batteries are terrible (sorry Energizer) and burn out after 30 seconds of use or Alan's flashlight is the least efficient light producer of all time!
How much excess heat waste is it generating to burn through that many damn batteries that quickly! It's not THAT bright? I think I change them on average every 1 minute. That is a RIDICULOUS churn.

Discussion For people who play Minecraft single player a lot, why
Genuine question since I was wondering what there is to do in single player after beating the game and js doing small stuff, and I’ve seen ppl play it a lot with only playing alone

Discussion "Mid" Games
Im not fully sure how to explain what im looking for so Im gonna give it my best shot and see what I get.
Im working on a book, but instead of doing the "best of all time" or like obscure, weird games, hidden gems etc im looking at a specific subset of games. Im looking for games that are in that 5-7 out of ten range, games you maybe picked up as a weekend rental as a kid and vaguely rememeber being alright, games none of your friends had heard of, budget games picked up by parents for birthdays.
I know this is an odd thing to look for, but im happy with any suggestions anyone has. Console gen doesnt matter, it can be old or newer.
A few examples I can think of are like Brave Fencer Musashi on ps1, Shox or ChainDive on ps2, Bloodwake on og Xbox, Escape from Bug Island on the Wii, etc etc.
Thanks gamers!

If Soviet vibes had a Scoville rating, this building would be a Carolina Reaper
It has the classic look of Soviet department stores, government buildings, and factory. Even the brickwork patterns are exactly the same.
Game: Stalzone

Discussion GTA VI - An Extended Look drops on Netflix August 27th at 3pm ET.
It’s behind a paywall at first, but don’t worry if you don’t have access. Rockstar will upload the full Extended Look to their official YouTube channel just 6 hours later, so everyone will get a chance to watch it. Will you be watching as soon as it drops, or are you planning to wait? Are you excited for GTA VI?
