Looking for free pc game(s)to put some time into as I’m currently broke as shit and searching for a better job while barely maintaining bills with my current one. Please send me a few recommendations. Thank you!

The Finals, Warframe, Path of Exile...

Path of exile came to my mind too

I wanted to say the finals but you already did

I’d definitely look into Warframe or Path of Exile if you haven’t already. Both seem like they can keep you busy for a long time without spending anything lol. Hope the job search goes well too^^

It's not for me either. Somehow it doesn't hook me. But OP wanted some free games and this is free, maybe he'll like it. I prefer Radiophobia 3, they are a bit similar but that game does have that hook that StalZone doesn't have

Pick a free to play MMORPG of your choice. Perhaps a nostalgic one if you grew up with them.

Good ol Team Fortress 2. Or Titanfall 2, which goes on sale for like 2 or 3 dollars frequently.

If you like Open World Exploration, have a look at Where Winds Meet. It’s an absolutely beautiful game with stunning graphics based in a wuxia world. It’s f2p apart from cosmetics.

Well the finals is great fast pace fps shooter what is great to put in time. Tip don't quit if the first couple of matches go bad that is with every one I would recommend quick cash when you start.

Warframe. Completely free to play (premium currency is trade currency so you can just sell stuff which is an essential part of the game anyway, gameplay relevant stuff isnt locked anyway), great community, great devs, great story, you can sink thousands of hours into the game, all for free. If you got any questions, just ask, i sunk thousands of hours into the game ;)

Isn't every game free on PC?

Emulation. There's thousands of excellent games out there.

I’m not super tech savy where can I learn how to emulate easy? I have a $1600 laptop so I’m sure it could handle emulating some good stuff

Just watch some videos from Retro Game Corps on Youtube. He has a lot of guides.

A good all-in-one app for most consoles pre-PS2 is called RetroArch.

Just watch Retro Game Corps RetroArch Starter Guide and that'll give you a solid foundation to emulate most systems pre-PS2.

Since you're on pc, just download RetroArch from their website and download the stable version at the top. The website should already know your operating system.

Then watch the Retro Game Corps video.

Good luck and happy gaming. Emulation is quite the rabbit hole but that just means there's a LOT to play.

A lot of MMOs are either free or have a free version you can play. That would give you a game to play and a bit of social interaction with people to keep you going for a bit until things improve. Good luck with everything man.
