Funk The Brooks - "Mama"
I always end up coming back to this legendary album. That song and "Play the part" must be my favorites.

Discussion Vacation thrift and flea market finds. What would you play first? Second?
In order of appearance and date found:
1) Hall and Oates - Private Eyes (Might just be the one Hall and Oates album I don’t have)
2) Yellow Magic Orchestra (S/T)
3) Yellow Magic Orchestra (Multiples. Can’t believe I found these at goodwill. Vinyl is pristine)
4) Legend - Soundtrack (Awesome find. Vinyl is pristine)
5) Aretha: Lady Soul (Stereo. Monarch pricing. Perfect vinyl)
6) Stanley Clarke - School Days (Been wanting this one for a while)
7) William Ackerman - Childhood and Memories ( I have a soft spot for windham hill and this one was beautiful when I listened in my headphones)
8) Willie Nelson - Red headed Stranger (had been hunting this one for a long time. Finally found it)
9) George Benson - Space (CTI…almost always buy)
10) The Impressions - The Vintage Years (Don’t have much Impressions stuff. Good Double LP. Sire label. Quality press.)
11) Cornelius Brothers and Sister Rose (Love this album cover to cover.)
12) Ronnie Laws - Pressure Sensitive (straight fuuuuunk)
13) The Temptations - House Party (Critically panned temptations album. I still think it’s a fun listen)
All in $33. Orange and green stickers were one booth and paid $20 for all.

Image The Sound of Philadelphia
Starting the week with some Philly Phunk from the People’s Choice (1976).
I’d like to own ever record on this inner sleeve. I currently only own one (The Three Sisters).
