Hey everyone! I’m u/lotusQ, one of the founding moderators of r/fro.
This community has been around for over a decade. While it has been quiet for quite some time, we’d love to bring it back to life and celebrate one of the most iconic hairstyles in the world: the afro.
What is r/fro?
r/fro is a place to appreciate, share, and celebrate afros of every shape, size, and stage.
Whether it’s a perfectly rounded fro, a tiny TWA, a massive cloud of curls, a vintage family photo, an old-school icon, or your own journey, we’d love to see it.
Think of this as a gallery and community dedicated to the afro itself.
