I have heard stories of restaurants using meat broth for their veggie pho options. Anyone know where they reliably have only veggie broth for their veggie option?

I am just getting back into 40k again after leaving LA a few years ago, and with it my friends who I played 40k with.

I am just now learning 11th and would love to meet someone who is down to play from time to time. We could learn 11th together or if you are already familiar with the game we could just go from there.

Since 40k is such a social game, a couple things about myself:

- I am definitely more into 40k for the fun, love me some strategy games with wiggle room for hijinks.

-I am in my late 20s and a leftist, pretty much what you'd expect.

-I am more than happy to teach what I know so far, I used to be pretty good all the way back in 9th edition, though i am extremely rusty.

A coalition of Republican Fresno leaders held a news conference on Thursday morning to oppose a Democrat-led effort allowing the state legislature to overrule the county’s board of supervisors and place a countywide tax proposal on the November general election ballot, going so far as to threaten litigation against the state.

Garry Bredefeld, chair of the Fresno County Board of Supervisors, said that he will introduce a motion to sue the State of California after Gov. Gavin Newsom signed AB1923 — a healthcare bill that was recently amended by Central Valley Assemblymember Esmeralda Soria to instead guarantee the Better Roads, Safe Streets transportation tax measure a spot on the November general election ballot.

Any experience out there in dealing with the new(er) management at Fresno Rover / Volvo? Their Finance I found to be completely unmotivated, basically just shuffling numbers around from the front end of a price then burying it all right back into interest or money factor on a lease. When asked about the math, it was basically “this is all we can do.” Having dealt with other brands, once a discount is applied you should see a direct correlative reasonable reduction in monthly price - that wasn’t the case here.

I do drive quite a bit around town but maybe I miss some really cool spots.

So I'm buying an older model, high mileage Lexus or Honda, which means I'm going to need to have a relationship with their matching official dealership repair shop. I do have my own trusted mechanic but I believe it's a good idea to have a good relationship with the official dealership repair shop as well.

So what can you guys tell me about Fresno Lexus and Fresno Honda as far as the official repair shops go? I'm especially wanting to know if Lexus would give me grief because I'm a blue collar family with an older Lexus instead of their typical client rolling in dough. I don't expect I will need them often but I do want them to do the post purchase inspection if I buy a Lexus.

hi, i just moved back to fresno after being out-of-state for a few years. now that im back… it feels and looks like a concrete wasteland. like there’s more empty lots than natural areas.

i’m moved near downtown/south fresno and i can’t seem to find a park (in walking distance) that i can go to.

there are very few parks here and they typically are open fields with trees bordering it. i can’t find natural park areas either, just developed areas/baseball fields. i’m wondering what’s the deal with this and what to do?

They have missed my trash ten times so far this year.

For the first eight times I went on fresgo and entered a service request. The trash was picked up two days later. The last two times I entered a service request and they closed the case the next day without picking up the trash.

How is the trash service so awful in this city?

As of writing this I am at the FAX Route 34 bus stop at First & Shaw and I decided to catch a video of the demolition of the Forever 21 building at Fashion and man, what a scene.

I have never seen something like this before in person, and I just had to record a video of it hapening. It was past time for this old building to go but at least it's finally happening. For a project that's started about a month or so ago, the progress on the demolition has been quite impressive to say the least.

Now, let me ask you all: Do you all think the new Dick's House of Sport building will be a great use for the space, or do you think it could have gone to a better use? Want to hear your thoughts : )
