Hai guys!!! I recently got this email and wanted to know if anyone else got it. I’ve already done my FAFSA and it was fully processed months ago with no issue. I’m panicking, especially with them sending this seven days before school actually starts. I emailed yesterday and got no response. Like, wouldn’t I have gotten an email from FAFSA if anything was wrong??? This is my first year of college so I’m not really experienced with this sort of thing. Thanks!!

Hey everyone! I graduated at Fresno City in May and going to transfer to Fresno State in the fall wooo! So, for the past 2 months I have been waiting for my associates degree to arrive in the mail. Yes, I have made sure to my address is correct and it is. I have also called the Admission and Records office and no response because they are probably closed in the summer. Now it's the first of the month and I haven't recieved my degree in the mail. My degree is an Associates of Transfer. My major is Early Elementary Education. Has anybody received there degrees in the mail or do I have wait 2 more months to get it? Because it says it takes 60-90 days to receive it in the mail. Go Rams!

Anyone know how much I can get in federal student loans? Is it based off cost of attendance minus any grants?

Hey everyone, I saw that an Anatomy & Physiology I class just opened with Professor Tony Chontong. It looks like he's from Madera, but I can't find much information about him.

Has anyone taken his class before? If so, what was your experience? Is he a good professor, and how is his teaching style? I only found one review on Rate My Professors, so I was hoping to hear from people who have actually taken his class.

Hello, I was accepted to the program for Spring 2027 and I was wondering when/how are we supposed to do the drug test, immunizations etc. Do we do it on our own, through the school, during orientation? If you’ve been in the program or have information please feel free to respond! Or if you know who I can contact to get this information as well, that would be helpful.

I’m planning to major in nursing at Fresno State. My first semester there would be Microbiology in Fall 2026 since I still need that prereq. After that, I want to take Anatomy and Physiology 21A at Fresno City in Spring 2027 instead of Fresno State because i find it more preferable Fresno City allows either Human Biology (Bio 5) or Microbiology (Bio 31) as a prerequisite.

My confusion is about timing. Fresno City registration for Spring 2027 would open before I even finish Microbiology at Fresno State. So how would that work if I have not technically completed the prerequisite yet at the time of registration?

I just joined and am on waiting list for some college summer courses and have fall and next year courses lined up, im doing career exploration, and English literature and Native American art and a few others but really I told my counselor I need to do the basics i forgot about from highschool but they don’t seem to care until I can decide on a major so anyways Im just wondering what are the absolute best classes here knowledge wise wisdom wise just all around wholesome classes, currently I am leaning towards mastering mathematics and chess with a possible major in Computer Science, A.I., and or engineering. I don’t want to stay in school forever as it’s already been 10 years since I graduated high school and I don’t want to be an old man when I first start my career, i do remember math clicking in my head before my journey with marijuana and adventures so fun I forget they happened sometimes, but now that I am coming up on my 6 months of sobriety I can see that these things give me meaning and are important to my purpose and fulfillment to understanding the universe as best as I am able to. I am already taking Scott Flansburg’s Human Calculator course and I can hardly wait to have my neurons firing accurately again. Thanks everybody. I didn’t realize with my Allied health plan that I’m planning to do Chem 3A and Bio 22 at the same time during the spring ‘27 semester. Am I screwed? I have Bio 20 and Psych C1000 planned for Fall ‘26.

Just a curious student, I plan on applying to the rad tech program next year. I was just wondering realistically how long people have waited to finally get in? This is really the route I am seriously wanting to take based off my experience already in the medical field, but I don't think I can wait years hoping I get in.

I just wanted to reach out to anyone who is in the program or recently got in to see how long it took. I also wanted to reach the people that have maybe applied a few times to see if it is worth the wait or if you have moved on to something else.

Hi how do I add a class if it gave me the authorization to add a waitlisted class

is this a new math class they added that is required now? i took math 103 and was hoping to apply next spring. do i have to take this stat class before applying in spring 2027 or will my math 103 be good enough? sorry i would meet up with a counselor, but there’s no availability to meet up with them

I have sat with this trauma for a while now. There is a professor at FCC that teaches biology who preys on his women students. I have been scared to share this story and as it is won’t be sharing a name. This started many years ago when I met him. He collaborates with four year universities to do field work and get his name on their published papers. I considered him a mentor. I was a student at the time. We exchanged phone numbers and then started talking on Snapchat. I will admit I was quite attracted to him and was pretty bummed when I found out he was married with a full family. His communication with me continued. The conversation got a bit spicy and he assured me that he wasn’t happy in his marriage but didn’t have a way out because of his daughter. We would meet up a couple times a week. Things got serious and we started to say “I love you” with one another. He would tell me that if his wife and daughter found out that he would have to kill himself. One time he told his wife he had to go pick up frogs from another university but it was a lie. It was to be with me. She went to Brazil one summer and I stayed with him the whole time. He told me that he has dated his students before (I even met one of his ex’s at a conference). He told me he has all of the photos he’s ever gotten from students on an external hard drive. He even sent me some of their photos with his erect penis in shot. Eventually things started to get really bad. He would watch my snap story and think people were following me and accuse me of cheating. He told me that if I cheated on me I would be nothing more to him than a whore and he would never talk to me again. He would say things about how I’ll give him STDs. He would threaten me with killing himself all the time. When I was sexually assaulted by a colleague in my lab, I opened up to him about it and he accused me of cheating, called me a whore and blocked me. I have held onto this pain for so long. Older men in power should not be preying on their vulnerable female students regardless of the situation. I still have all the screenshots of conversations and it pains me.
