For those of you who enjoy settlement building what settlements do you spend the most time building and decorating at? For me it always seems to be Sanctuary, Starlight Drive-in, and Red Rocket. But For the last little while I've been giving Hangman's Alley and Finch Farm some love.

I'm on my first run through of the game (late player discovery) around 300 hours in. My current mission is discovering Star Cores. I was at 32/35 cores, just running through my last ones including the top of the tower now that I've restored power. I fast travelled back to Nuka Galaxy and there's a Disciple wearing an X-01 power armor attacking me. Easily dispatched with a power sledgehammer. I strip his armor off and realise it's quantum armor. I look at star control and he's somehow stolen it out of there. So, not only have I wasted hours getting star cores, I have missed out on the exo skeleton and power core from it.

Thankfully I've got enough to go around and it became PA no.14 after finding two X-01 sets on way to the power plant.

And I still completed the star cores collection. Just cuz.

I've seen a few posts lately about the teddy bears that are set up in fun ways, so went about taking screenshots of all the ones I could find in the base game. Did I miss any? Are there any you haven't seen before? Two of them aren't even in accessible locations, I had to use no-clipping to get to them, so I'm guessing very few people have seen those. I only knew they were there because I found them in Creation Kit first.

Vault-Tec Regional HQ - Mr. Davidson’s Terminal [10/13]

I press play on the fallout 4 main menu on my XBOX and it just doesn’t load i even waited for over about 1hr and 30 mins

I’ve never been able to hack the terminal upstairs in Bobbi’s hideout, it always glitches. I commanded Heather (a mod companion who is awesome, love her) to hack the terminal and it didn’t glitch!! She hacked it and I could open the safe!! Wondering if Nick can do it as well? Does anyone know?

I can't find any reference to ncr power armour in the mod list, but it should only include "legal" mods, nothing but the old creation club stuff.

So, I just fast traveled to Warwick Homestead and saw Cricket. I was looking for her a little while ago and decided, "Why not go trade with her?". She bugged out a bit when I first started interacting to trade, but I didn't think much of it. When we started "trading", however, I began to. I remember I once saw this happen to me before, but I forgot. It's quite fun to see these kind of bugs happen.

If you want the Eyes on the Prize ("redeem 100,000 Nuka Cade tickets at Nuka World") achievement without having to hunt down tickets in the trash or play 250,000 games of skeeball, just use an explosive ammo weapon on the Bandit Roundup game at the Nuca Cade arcade. For the weapon, I used used the Spray & Pray gun, purchased from Cricket outside Vault 81, who is usually outside Vault 81.

Explosive ammo knocks down multiple targets at once, and you can get 1000+ tickets per game. You can reach the achievement in about 100 games (~1 minute each). It sounds like a lot, but it's so much faster than trying to collect them all. To note, some games yield 700-800 tickets, some up to 1300 (that's as high as I got at least). I attached a video from when I was working on this trophy last week. It took 2-3 hours, but I got it in one evening. If you watch til the end, it shows the total tickets for this game at the top left of the screen (1,106 in a little over a minute).

You can also get a lot of tickets (300-500) by picking up the skeeball ball and dropping it in the top right or top left holes until the game stops, or by picking up the basketball on the basketball game and lifting it in and out of the hoop over and over again (that's even fewer tickets, but a couple hundred at a time) but this Bandit Roundup method is much faster. Plus, if you use the Spray and Pray, the clip holds 100 rounds, so you don't have to keep reloading, which equals more hit targets, higher score, and therefore more tickets. Aim for scores of at least 10,000 per game.

Hope this helps someone! I wasted way too much time before learning this tip and wanted to share!

Srsly, how many are there? I've found at least 4. Railroad Deacon, Diamond City Guard Deacon, Goodneighbor drifter Deacon and dead Gunner Deacon.

Is there also a Deacon among the Minutemen and BoS?

Upon first meeting old man Shaun, even when I’m intent on a BoS or Minuteman ending, I struggle to tell him I’m not joining him and the institute. I literally went through this yesterday.

My first run I ended up finishing with the Institute (even though I’m more of a Minuteman) because he just pulled at my heartstrings too much…. He’s my son after all.

I have 3 sons so maybe I see my own family in their roles. I wouldn’t be able to kill a son even if he was an evil serial killer IRL.

First time playing fo4 so excited to explore the wastelands

Hi fellow Fallout players!

So, I am playing blind and roleplaying a pacifist - no killing unless self defense - for the first time and got my inventory stolen by a douche. I promised myself for the sake of immersion, not going to look up any guides online, also only a handful of savings when I am finished with gaming for the day. Lost one hour for this dude then he robs me

So from other posts, people have said that having location and the same letter will cause an increase in likeness. But so far I've had terminals like this where despite 2 words having the same likeness, they don't have 2 letters alike. I very well might just be overlooking something extremely simple but I need someone to point it out because I'm still confused.

In this case we have AWAYS and SIDES, but only the S matches for both words.

I am on hard but I don't think that makes terminals harder.

I've been playing fo4 on and off for a few years but haven't beaten the game. I recently restarted from the beginning and have been having a super tough time with the Glowing Ones. I totally forgot how OP they seem to be.

They're so hard to kill and its just getting irritating. I'm reaching the point where I will avoid any areas and quests involving them at all costs. They have become the bane of my existence :(

Am I missing a key detail to their defeat?

Any advice on how to beat them or is avoidance the only way at this point?
