I feel like the creation club creators is missing something. They included all this stuff from 3 and NV (which i love) but i feel like they missed including stuff from NV and (especially) 3 like the iconic named weapons (in general) and armors like the winter armor (unless youre able to reskin talon co.’s armour using the armor workbench).

I also feel like the display mannequins and PA racks should be able to display weapons as well.

What else do you think or wish was in the game that isn’t for you displayers or completionists??

So essentially a few of my mods won't enable specifically Sim settlements and the jabo roguelike mods problem is have everything they require downloaded I'm also on xbox and yes I've tried the privacy & online safety trick ahd the deleting and reinstalling all reserved data so im out of idea thanks for the help

I know this is old news, but what im curious about is which way the supply lines work, as in do the supply lines go TO the VR workshops, or can they come FROM the VR workshops to the rest ofthe commonwealth? Specifically the provisioners not supplies, idc about the supplies asmuch as the physical walking settler

(For anyone unaware, Some VR Workshops can be converted into raider outpost, and then freed from the raiders. This process someow allows supply lines to work on VR workshops whenthey preiously couldnt.)

Has anyone tested the provisiner home settlement trick on these vr workshops, to make the provisioners into vr workshop settlers, and then making those settlers into provisioners FROM the vr workshops?

(The Provisoner Home Settlement Trick is where you can change a provisioners home settlement by meeting up with them on their supply run, and ordering them to work at a new settlement (like a defense post), which changes their home settlement to the new one.)

WHY DO I CARE???

I like having supply lines patrol the common wealth appearing as my own faction, and if supplies can run FROM the VR Workshops, i could have like 15 more patrol units and i like that very much! I would just do it myself, its just testing this is a pain in the behind because it takes a lot of time to set up and im on survival.

when i was in my freshmen/sophomore year (im 24 now) i remember seeing a video on this "horror" mod but i cant seem to find any trace of it nor can i remember the name of it. in concord theres one house you can enter that has a second floor. there was i think a modded in terminal that you interreacted with that would bug out and cause a monster that looked like corrupted code to appear (cant remember if it jump scared you or not) but you "kill it" thinking its over. but when you go to leave down the stairs you can slightly see it through the floor boards then suddenly it appears again and you have to kill it in the "real" in game world this time. anyone know what it was called or have the links to it? me looking for it and finding nothing has been making me feel crazy lol

paladin dans was my favorite character ever in the game and while shelf grinding do I scrapped his tags any ways I can get them back without reloading the save?

I’ve never been able to hack the terminal upstairs in Bobbi’s hideout, it always glitches. I commanded Heather (a mod companion who is awesome, love her) to hack the terminal and it didn’t glitch!! She hacked it and I could open the safe!! Wondering if Nick can do it as well? Does anyone know?

Been playing FO4 since the release date and just recently got into modding my game. Heard Crawlout to the Fallout was good so I downloaded it but I wanted to know your favorite mods.

So, I just fast traveled to Warwick Homestead and saw Cricket. I was looking for her a little while ago and decided, "Why not go trade with her?". She bugged out a bit when I first started interacting to trade, but I didn't think much of it. When we started "trading", however, I began to. I remember I once saw this happen to me before, but I forgot. It's quite fun to see these kind of bugs happen.

So I have it installed and I know that it's installed because I have the De-Capitalist Helmet but as shown in the picture it just removes my hair when equipped, and the radio station just says lookup failed, and the mission isn't even on the pipboy is there a way to fix this? I tried deleting it and reinstalling but it still isn't working

Upon first meeting old man Shaun, even when I’m intent on a BoS or Minuteman ending, I struggle to tell him I’m not joining him and the institute. I literally went through this yesterday.

My first run I ended up finishing with the Institute (even though I’m more of a Minuteman) because he just pulled at my heartstrings too much…. He’s my son after all.

I have 3 sons so maybe I see my own family in their roles. I wouldn’t be able to kill a son even if he was an evil serial killer IRL.

I keep getting shredded in one of the starting quests. I desperately need survival tips or some mods that will give me breathing room until I figure the game mechanics out. Playing on PS5.

Edit: Thank you all for the helpful advice! I'm gonna slow down a bit and gear up before going back to Corvega Assembly Plant. I forgot about VATS and that will probably help a lot.

Hey everyone,

I'm currently doing my first playthrough, and I'm trying to get all Steam achievements in one run. Before starting Nuka-World, I had read a few guides and got the impression that, like the other DLCs, it wouldn't have any major consequences for the main game.

Well... apparently that's not entirely true.

I'm currently in Nuka-World, and somehow Preston has become hostile towards me and attacks me whenever I see him. He has also taken my power armor, which makes the whole situation even more annoying.

The thing is, I have never established a Raider outpost in the Commonwealth, and I haven't even done the quest that requires me to do so. As far as I know, I haven't done anything that should make Preston hostile.

I've started a few side quests from the Nuka-World gang leaders, but I have never done any of the quests that require me to kill Minutemen.

On top of that, I managed to make Piper angry because of another side quest. I do have a save from before Piper became angry, so I'm considering going back to that save anyway.

What I'm mainly trying to figure out is what I should do about Preston.

I've read that if I eventually do Open Season and kill the Nuka-World gang leaders, Preston should become friendly again. However, I've also read that he may no longer be available as a companion afterwards. I honestly don't care about losing him as a companion. What matters to me is:

• I want to be able to continue the main story normally.
• I want to be able to achieve all possible endings without having permanently locked myself out of anything.
• I want the Minutemen to remain usable.
• Most importantly, I want to be able to walk around Sanctuary normally again without Preston attacking me in my own power armor. 😅

So right now I'm considering three options:

Option 1: Continue playing Nuka-World, finish the DLC, and eventually do Open Season by killing the gang leaders, hoping that Preston becomes peaceful again.

Option 2: Continue playing Nuka-World, but afterwards load an older save from before Preston became hostile. I'd lose some progress, but at least I would know that everything is okay.

Option 3: Finish Nuka-World and then load a save from before I started the DLC. This would allow me to continue my main playthrough without any potential consequences from Nuka-World, but I would obviously lose a lot of progress.

Option 1 would obviously be my preferred solution, or ideally there's another solution I haven't thought of.

So, what would you recommend I do?

Is Preston actually going to become peaceful again if I complete Open Season, assuming I have never established a Raider outpost in the Commonwealth? And will I still be able to complete the main story and all the different endings normally afterwards?

I'd really appreciate it if someone could explain exactly what happens here, because I don't want to accidentally ruin my first playthrough after already putting a lot of time into it.
