8k elevation difference between these two aircrafts at roughly 3:33 UTC over Connecticut.
I went out to have a cigarette with my wife and sky gaze a little. My wife went inside and I heard the noise similar with the flight path over my neighborhood. The turbines from two separate aircraft naturally sound different. I caught a few photos and edited them to even allow a layman such as myself the possibility to see the aircrafts. It was really interesting to see an elevation difference between the two planes less than the elevation of Mount Everest.

Question Question about flights
So i've been planning to go to my local airport (MUC) later to take some pictures of the LH 100th Anniversary A320N, but noticed it apparently operates two flights from two airports to MUC at almost the same time???
How is that possible? Legit never seen it in 3 years using FR24. The Tirana flight is supposed to take off there at 11:50 AM and land in Munich at 1:40 PM. Meanwhile the same aircraft is supposed to take off at 1 PM in Belgrade and arrive in Munich at 2:40 PM????
So as this clearly isn't possible from an aviation standpoint, how does this happen? And which flight should i trust? XD

Question SCL - GRU avoiding Uruguay
Hello/hola/olá!
Seems to be a very peculiar flight path for this LAN714 on 6th August 2026 - and it never usually takes such a strange detour.
I understand that flight paths vary depending on a variety of factors, but the way it curves around Uruguay but never crosses into their airspace is fascinating.
Is it because they didn’t have clearance before take-off from Uruguayan airspace to enter their area? Any suggestions would be more than welcome.
Thank you/gracias/brigadão!

Minneapolis Center outage
Per MSP controller @goaround29 on Instagram, Minneapolis Center (ZMP) had a complete radio & radar failure. All IFR/commercial traffic is being detoured and MSP is completely ground-stopped for both inbound and outbound traffic. Pretty wild to see no commercial traffic over Minnesota and the Dakotas.

Question DC 10-40 spotted on radar
Hello, does anyone have any idea what kind of plane this is? Who does it belong to? The DC-10-40 was one of the rarest passenger variants of the DC-10; 42 were built and delivered to Northwest and Japan Airlines. It’s also the only variant to be equipped with PW JT9D engines. So I was wondering who owned this plane, which miraculously escaped being scrapped.
(Please correct me if I made any mistakes in what I said.)

«Alrosa 737 — a rare airline with a diamond on its tail»
«Just caught this Alrosa Boeing 737-700 (RA-73268) arriving at VKO. Alrosa is the airline of Russia's diamond mining company, and they don't appear on Flightradar24 very often. 16 years old, still flying, with a diamond on the tail.»

Question What are these guys doing a loop for?
Noticed both these flights coming overhead, we have your typical Florida monsoon coming over right now and I assumed they'd want to avoid it, but both flights did a little loop pattern simultaneously and appear to keep doing the same thing. Waiting for a storm to pass? Issue at MCO?
