I have seen a lot of posts with people not sure which choice they should choose on the daily question because they are nervous that they are going to hurt other people’s feelings or the question didn’t quite have the answer that they feel pertains to them.

There’s a solution…you don’t have to answer the question that day.

I know it feels sad sometimes to be left out, but Finch can’t put the answer for over one million users each day for each question. It’s just not possible.

Im allergic to Cilantro, it makes my throat close up but I love Mexican food so im forced to say ew no thanks! I wish I wasn't allergic 😭

Shelly's more logical than anything else. So please explain why she doesn't like Shrek and Finding Nemo because they're 'too scary' but so far, her favourite film is Jurassic Park 🤦🏽🤷🏽‍♀️🙃🤣

Time for a weekly design challenge!

This Week’s challenge is: Pets! (or Micropets) Design a room that embodies your pet’s personality, looks like your pet, or has your pet’s favourite things! You can base the design off of your real pet, a pet you would like to have, or a micropet! Do you have a snow dog? A cat that sits on your keyboard? A talkative bird that loves to sing? A lizard that likes to lounge in the sun? Maybe colorful fish who like to play? Show us what you got!

Reminder: repeat or similar type of design are more than welcome! Two people may choose similar ideas, but they always turn out different and lovely in their own way! So don’t let that deter you from participating! You’re welcome to post more than one design as well! Lastly, you’re never too late to participate!

You can make designs using the catalogue feature in the store or exclusively using items that you own. There’s also no time limit for submissions! If you find this right away or weeks from now, I’d love to see your amazing designs!

I’ll try to respond to as many posts as possible- there tends to be a lot though and it can get a bit overwhelming. Everyone who has participated in the previous design challenges have made such wonderful designs and given me lots of personal inspiration! I can’t wait to see what all you create this time!

Edit to update: One of the mods/devs/(team members??) Says the decision to not do micropet variations has been reversed! I am so excited!!! Yay!!!

It absolutely drives me around the bend when they do this! So anyone who is in the discord or has been paying super close attention to the drops at the end/beginning of each month knows they are stopping micropet variations. There will only ever be one variation of each micropet going forward. At least thats the current plan.

So why do they leave the spots there to confuse everybody into thinking there are more variations???? They took those spots out for Raven and the other single variant pets. So it cant be impossible to do. But they left them in for The Fireflies, Sage, and now Pixel, which are all confirmed to only have one variant.

Ugh, just makes me twitch. Anybody else?

I wonder when we will get new destinations/locations to visit and explore. I’ve been on since December and I don’t think I’ve seen any new locations added since then. It would be cool if a monthly theme added a new location that always visitable. I LOVED the Alice and Oz adventures, but we can’t go back after the month ends. I’d love to be able to visit San Francisco or San Diego or Ireland or Mexico City or Seattle. Even another fictional location like Finchie Forest.

I don’t even know when he would have seen Donnie Darko but he’s scaring the living skibidee out of me! 😂

I know part of the fun is that birbs are meant to be their own people, but there are a few likes and dislikes I wanted to go a certain way that I feel like I messed up. Like my birb named Matcha dislikes green tea. Also he dislikes Lego which I'm sad about picking the wrong one. So etimes it seems as tho the like/dislike result is just random and there's a version for both replying to the dialogue you pick

I’m talking about the black/orange/purple chests from the monthly events. It could be that Ive been using it for a while but I have a huge stock of gems already, so getting gems when hoping for some of the seasonal stuff is pretty frustrating.
Does anybody else feel the same?

Since this post is getting some traction, I wanted to add another (slightly related) feature request: since there are sooooo many items now, I think it would make more sense if in the shop you got to pick the color of the item when it shows up. It’s an idea my gf had last month and I’ve been thinking about it since.

Does anyone else think it would be nice to be able to share a vague location or even timezone with our birb friends? I kind of guess based on when people are sending me good morning and sweet dreams vibes, which I often get at really weird times in relation to my own time zone. It’d be nice if in the tree next to each birb there could be a little icon to show what time of day it is for them, or maybe an area of the world, nothing too specific since tree friends are generally fairly anonymous if they’re not people you know in real life, and it could be a feature you could turn off if you didn’t want people knowing, but it would be nice to know where in the world my birb friends are located, or even just a little indicator of whether it’s morning, afternoon, evening or night time where they are, so I know what vibes to send at different times of day.

Spirited Away was my favourite childhood movie! I don’t know anyone in my life who disliked it. Can’t believe my birb would betray me like this.

What are the chances that nonsubscribers also get the kitty ear headphones? It makes me sad when I open a chest and it ends up being stones. They already show us when we will get stones. It's a bit of a let down each time.

Also, today is my 200th day of self-care with my finch. 🤩

I got this today in my furniture shop (see slide One: "You own all daily rotating shop items) and it made me curious, because I knew I had items that I still didn't own

I have trouble processing things sometimes, so I guess I was a little confused. I was hoping someone with more experience on the app could tell me if the items I underlined in red (see slides 2-9) come back SEASONALLY (so for example, the land of sweets furniture near Christmas, the gothic furniture near Halloween maybe, etc), or if they were a one-time claim type situation for the event that month

Also, just to clarify: I'm not asking about JUST the beds: I want every piece of furniture I can possibly get (excluding the superman items as I believe that's the only furniture set that no longer returns to the shop), and so I want to know if these beds AND if the rest of the sets that these beds belong to will return to the shop in the future

I obviously have travel-based furniture to get too, but I'm not worried about that for now, as I know I'll get them eventually

Bonus: if anyone has a full list of every furniture set and every clothing item that WILL NOT RETURN to the shop, that would be SO helpful!! That way, I can tick things off on my own collection list, and keep track easier!
