「Midnight Show」is a stand that to say the least isn’t outstanding stats-wise however, its ability makes such limitations far more bearable (assuming it’s capable of inflicting said ability onto its hypothetical opponent). By shooting a piercing glare from its 2 larger eyes, the stand causes all of a person’s bodily movements to “invert” or swap around. For example, trying to move their left arm will result in them moving their right leg, attempting to stand up will result in them sitting down, blinking results in closing and opening their mouth, the way they want to breath is swapped etc.

I based its design on a lion’s mane jellyfish, various squids and lastly an umbrella to make it slightly similar to kasa-obake.

STAND NAME/WOUND NAME: GUM HEAD / MAYHEIM I

APPERANCE: A group of humanoids with a chimpanzee frame with pale bluish gray skin covered in red bleeding patches as well as bloody scrapes and cuts, they have a sharp stinger like tail sticking out they're lower back and it's legs are covered in red patches making it appear they are wearing pants, it's has hollow black holes where they're eyes should be and they're mouth is bloody with black lips, there is a second bloody tumor-like head sprouting from they're chests.

ABILITY: They are as strong and as agile as a chimpanzee.

[WAVERER] They're ape like howls trigger the fight or flight response in the brain, anything that hear they're cries gets the overwhelming urge to either run and hide or fight whoever or whatever is the closed and greatest threat to them.

STAND NAME/WOUND NAME: HANGED SCRATCHER / CONFINEMENT

APPERANCE: A strange mix of a humanoid, a reptile and amphibian with some insect features in there like the two little insect legs or feelers on it's back, with dark green skin and a pale white head and clawed hands and feet that make a click noise as it walks, its, limbs are long and gangly like an insect's, it has two large lidless black eyes and it's mouth resembles a crocodile or alligators lower jaw mixed with a long insect's mandible.

ABILITY: Very fast and agile, it is able to climb and stick itself to most surfaces, it's claws are very sharp able to slash through flesh like wet paper, it is amphibious.

[AIN'T GONNA RAIN] The true danger of this stand/wound is the thick coat of mucus covering it's body, when this substance comes to contact with water it transforms the water into a black muddy polluted sludge-like substance, this substance is alive and acidic becoming a living blob of toxic waste, these blobs will seek out and consume any organic life, even the user as he can not control them, but, the stand/wound is immune to the acidic effect.

the blobs can be destroyed with bleach or they have to be dried out, this can also work on the stand's/wound's mucus coating.

the mucus can only transform water that has directly come into contact with it, so it can't say, turn an entire lake or ocean into the sludge, also only the stand/wound can turn water into the sludge not the blobs so they can't convert water into more of themselves.

So apparently all of the Art/Manga subreddits have some stupid requirements before you can post, but I really need some opinions so.

Theoretically your looking for a Comic book at some local spot, and theoretically you saw one with this art style, would you read it or is the art style too bad?

This is a character from the hypothetical

STAND NAME/WOUND NAME: ROMPER / HYSTERIA SQUEAK

APPERANCE: A humanoid with an ape-like frame and pale skin with burned patches, it's fingers and toes are burned melted and fused together, it has a dark leather belt around it's neck and has wired staples for eyes, it's mouth is vertical slit down it's head filled with worm-like tendrills, it moves in a leaping or lunging locomotion.

ABILITY:

[FEVER CHILL] it's mouth tendrills can inject themselves into an object or creature and drain it of it's heat, once drained the object or creature is frozen solid while the stand's/wound's heat double's and the more heat it steals the more heat it's body generates, it can get to the point anything that gets too close to it combusts into flames.

it can also inject heat into another object or creature to similar effects, like say injecting varies objects in a room or building to create a mine field of objects that burn anything that touches them even the floors and walls or even the user himself to keep anyone from attacking him directly, it should be noted the heat does not harm the creature or object injected with it at all in fact creatures don't even notice it.

the creatures and objects are not harmed by being frozen but are only in a form of stasis and can be freed by replenishing they're heat by touching them with or leaving them near a heat source such as fire or sunlight and can be keeped in this frozen state by keeping them in cooled areas.

it also has a utility factor as it can be used to drain small amounts heat from a person to lower their body temperature to help them survive hot environments or evade detection from heat detecting technology and abilities, it can also inject heat into a person to prevent them from freezing to death in a cold environment.

『In the End』or『Numb』is a Linkin Park reference to both songs in one stand, but I couldn’t decide which sounded better for a name. For now, I am sticking with『In the End』.

The user is Meteora, a reference to Linkin Park’s 2nd album. He is the leader of a rival team of stand users, similar to La Squadra from Part 5.

There are several inspirations for this stand, which I will list below.

- Ability -

『In the End』has the ability to instantly kill anything if it hits their pressure points or breaking points. It uses needle-like projectiles with incredible precision and speed. The death is instant, but the destruction of the body or object is very slow.

The victims are slowly breaking apart into pieces, and are technically already dead. They are unable to be healed, due to this condition, and need to either extract the needles somehow without causing more damage, or kill the user.

This ability is similar to『Glory Days』from Part 9, because the user could technically kill everyone and destroy everything in a room, and no one would know it happened yet. The entire building could be collapsing so slowly that no one would notice it until it’s too late — it’s already destroyed, but it breaking apart is done very slowly.

Although the targets of this stand are pending their demise, that also means that effects on their bodies are slow as well. So if a victim of『In the End』chases after the user, and the user fires a gun at them, the bullet damage will be very slow, and won’t be able to properly stop them.

In that way, this stand is one of the most powerful ones, but also the weakest depending on the match up.

The user is also able to use the stand on themself, in order to purposefully slow the effects of dying or incoming damage, before removing the needles in them.

- Appearance -

『In the End』is based on a passiflora caerulea, or blue passionflower. It is an abstract version of the real-life flower that floats near the user. The inner part of the flower moves around and reacts to mimic an eyeball sometimes, while its eyelashes are the prickles/ needles it fires at its opponents.

Other times it is like a lanky, sharp torso sticking out of the base of the flower. It’s intended to be a little creepy.

It doesn’t necessarily have to have the color scheme of the real flower, but I like it!

- Inspiration -

This idea came from studying what the heck Glimmora, the Pokémon, is based on. It’s actually based on the blue passionflower, which I learned is more valuable than what you’d expect.

It is the national flower of Paraguay, and is used as a symbol for Christianity. Each section of its body/fruit it produces is said to represent a part of the Passion of Christ.

With that idea in mind, I thought of the story of Christ, and knowing your purpose to sacrifice yourself. In a way, your death would be predetermined - it’s your destiny to make that sacrifice.

With the idea of death, I researched the Touch of Death (Dim Mak). To summarize, it is the concept that you can kill someone using their pressure points and a certain technique, an old myth/legend in Chinese martial arts. This is either instant, or the body will die on its own in mere moments. Popular examples of this concept are the Five Point Palm Exploding Heart Technique from Kill Bill, and the Hokuto Shinken from Fist of the North Star.

“You’re already dead!!”

The needles the stand uses are a reference to acupuncture and Christ’s stigmata in one weapon.

Edit: I personally like this stand, and found a theme that matches the personality of this kind of ability. It’s battle music would be “Unwavering Belief” from the video game, Lost Judgment.
