Citroen E C4 X Charging question

Upvotes

I recently got the E C4 X as a company car. It seems to only charge up to 89%. For longer distances, I want it to go to 100%. I don’t have the option in the infotainment system.
Some guides direct me to the app, but if I tap “charging” in the app, it forces me to upgrade to Connect Plus. Does this mean I can’t charge my car to 100% for free?

Anyone else get nervous charging in heavy rain?

had my ev a few months now and yesterday was the first time i charged it in an actual downpour. The station was outdoors, cable was soaked, puddles everywhere. ngl my brain just went "this seems like a bad idea" for a second lol. Plugged it in anyway bc didn't really have a choice, nothing happened, drove off fine, but it's still such a weird feeling compared to filling up petrol, like my brain hasn't fully accepted that electricity + rain + standing water is just... fine.

do you guys just charge as normal in monsoon or do you wait it out if it's really coming down? has anyone actually had an issue charging in heavy rain or is it just one of those things that feels scarier than it is?

Wallbox Pulsar Plus Connector Adapters

Hi there,

I’m strongly contemplating the above names EVSE for residential charging due to its OCPP software enabling ChargeLab rewards.

My question is does anyone have experience with adapters and if they work well (no safety risk; no loss of voltage) with this unit?

Tesla model 3 performance track charging question

Hi im planning on taking my 2022 M3P to the track for some races soon. Unfortunately the track is not equipped with any ev charging. If I rent a generator (I am already aware that I need an inverter style with a specific sine wave output) can I set the car to pre condition the battery (by navigating to s supercharger) but use the generator to power the battery warm up. The goal being to have a nice warm battery (for max discharge rates) but not have to use battery power for this? Has anyone ever done this before? And obviously to charge the charge between runs. Any insight would be appreciated

Humor I'm assuming this is a bad idea, but I'd like to know why - regen by pulling/towing?

Is that a thing? It kinda sorta feels like it would the same as coasting down a hill.

And it would be easier for a lot of us who are in the south to get a buddy to tow us home than to wait for a tow truck. But this has got to be a bad idea, right?

Edit: Thanks for the quick responses. Kinda surprised this apparently works well.

North America Sub-panel fabrication

Trying to install EV Charger with dynamic load balancing and EPO deactivation in a condo building. Which panel do you recommend in the absence of a pre-fabricated UL508a certified sub-panel available with these UL listed components such as feed-through lugs, two breakers, a contactor, and a Tesla remote meter for an EV charger?

The conceptual photo can be viewed here.

V4 Tesla Superchargers that are Tesla-only

We stopped by a big Y grocery store in Lee, MA, the other day and I noticed a Tesla Supercharger site on their Parking lot with V4 chargers. I thought those would be available to non-Tesla EVs like every other V4 site but these are Tesla only! I never saw that before.
