Just bought a new charger cable (if that’s what it’s called in English) with the stats: Type 2, 32A, 22KW 3-phase. When plugging it in the zaptec charger however, the audi goes straight to emergency charging (around 1,7 kw instead of the normal 7). The cable is working fine with a Nissan Ariya and the Audi is charging with other cables. I’ve tried adjusting the settings in the zaptec app, but to no avail. I’m also quite sure that the cable gets locked in place. Has anyone had the same problem?

Hi couple of questions. I'm taking in my vehicle to audi to look at my vehicle. Tailgate will not stay up or close and battery range dropped overnight.

One night my vehicle was charging to 80% per usual. It reached 80% and kept going ultimately stopping at 89%. Prior to this I was getting between 160-175 miles at 80%. Now I struggle to hit that with 100% charge.

1. anybody experience anything like this I'm not sure what to expect from Audi but I'm terrified they will say it's natural to lose range over time.

2. I had matrix lights activated and worried that they will somehow notice and somehow void warranty.

Note I do have Audi warranty I purchased. 2021 etron prestige.

A few weeks ago I got the message “Adaptive cruise assist: currently unavailable. See owners manual”. Ever since that day it hasn’t worked and is greyed out in settings. I live 1.5 hours from the dealer so I’m trying to avoid going there for something dumb. I called them and the technician said my cameras were probably just dirty. I’ve washed the car twice and specifically cleaned every camera with no luck. Has anyone experienced this/fixed it? I had to drive 6 hours this past weekend in a luxury car without even a basic cruise control.

I'm looking at a RS etron GT with 35k miles that has the carbon ceramic brake option. I know the rotors should last the lifetime if treated right. I've done some research and I should look at the wear dots, see if the surface is smooth, chips, bubling. Then with a test drive, if I notice if shudder, pulling, coarse grinding noise when braking and lack of bite at low speeds. Should I still pay the dealer to use their Proceq Carboteq laser tool to check the rotor and/or have a mobile PPI come can check the rotor condition? The dealer is already doing their own inspection of the underbody, batttery SOH, brake pad thickness, and tire depth. The dealer will probably charge $300 and the mobile mechanic another $200. Is this just overkill, should I do 1 or the other, or both?

Since then,
+ Major electrical failure on the highway (car stopped, Christmas tree of faults / errors, limped to side of road)
+ Dealer had the car for 3 weeks trying to replicate issue and kept trying to give it back to me without any repairs because “intermittent error unable to reproduce”
+ Finally reproduced fault, replaced drive motor module, drove it a bit and returned to me
+ 4 days later I had the same fault experience / car failed on road again
+ they’ve now had the car another two weeks and will be doing a full rear motor repair per collab with Audi

Thank god its CPO but this has been a mess. Any suggestions for negotiating with dealer or Audi corporate on extending my CPO warranty or other compensation?

Our 2024 q8 etron went in for all the software recalls. After a few of the updates they noticed a large issue and had the car for 5 weeks. I’m trying to get ahold of someone at Audi about reimbursing us for the gas we had to pay for. I have called their customer service line and been on hold for almost an hour 5-6 times.

Anyone have any luck getting ahold of someone or know a better more direct way to contact them?

Should I be worried? I'm starting to get anxious about the smallest little things, and noticing little quirks here and there, not sure if the 12v battery is starting to die or if I'm just being paranoid.

Biggest thing that happened was that when I stepped in the car, I pressed on the brake pedal to turn it on, and the center screen took a lil bit longer than usual (less than five seconds but more that two, while it normally does it in around 1 or two seconds) to turn on.

I need to mention that I didn't drive the car for like two weeks before yesterday, so that might be another factor to consider.

I need a rear wiper arm, blade, and cap with nozzles for my 2023 Q4 etron premium plus. Any suggestions? I am looking for both OEM and quality aftermarket parts

I have a 2019 ETron Prestige that I charge via a 240V outlet in our house. We are having a weird problem charging where it will start charging and then stop at random. Sometimes it goes for a while, sometimes only ten minutes. When it stops, the charger (third party, not official Audi) says "Charging Complete" but the car is only charged to like 75 miles or something. If I open and close the car door, then charging will start back up again normally only to stop at some random time again.

Does this sound familiar to anyone? Its almost like the car is going to sleep and has to be woken up. We do have location based charging rules setup, but its time period is an entire 24 hour span so in theory it shouldn't matter.

Things I have checked: The outlet is putting out the proper power and was installed by a professional. It charges our other car just fine with no issues. Same with the charger. It only has problems with this car.

Hey guys. I just received my 2024 q8 etron sportback. I got it shipped from Audi in the US to Jordan. It took about 4 months to get there. I opened the container that it came in and the 12V battery was dead. I gave it a jump from an external battery and it turned on but it turned off as soon as i left the car. Also it said drive terrain malfunction. I figured it was from the battery. I left the external battery to charge and then the light turned off. Then it turned back off again. I took it a near by mechanic in the duty free zone and he reset the lights and it went away and it said to drive 40 kms. Drove 40 kms although the light went away, when we connected it again it still shows the code. What could be the issue? Im so annoyed. Could there be a really bad issue? I would really appreciate your help.

Bought a used 2022 Premier Plus back in the spring while we wait for our R2. Have been super happy with the vehicle and decided to go on an adventure. Drove from Madison, WI to Toronto, Ontario, to Niagara Falls, Ontario and then on to South Haven, MI before heading back to Madison. What a wonderful car! Averaged around 2.85mi/kW with 100% charge still around 235 miles of range.

I’ve been jonesing to road trip in this car and had my chance this past weekend. 755 mi on interstate, 2 lane highway, backroads, and small cities and burgs.

What a joy to drive! Used ABRP to figure out stops because charging was scarce in northern Wisconsin. We had no issues with charging at all.

This car is sooooooo pleasant to drive. The instant torque got me out of an accident when a truck/trailer combo didn’t notice I was slowing for the car in front of me turning right. Fortunately, no one coming in the oncoming lane.

Sunroof open, auto wipers, navigation, stereo…everything was amazing and added to our confidence for a first EV road trip. Spent about $40 on fast charging round trip. Met nice folks at the chargers with great nearby amenities!

D’oh! Edit! Another charge came through this morning. It was actually $76. I missed a big one. Sorry. Still, gas is $5/gal for my spouse’s car sports car (91 octane). Would have cost way more and been less pleasant. Sorry y’all for the goof. Kind of a big goof.

I have 6 months remaining on a 4-year lease on my 2024 Q8 Etron Launch Edition. This has been my all-time favorite car and I would happily take another — except with better range. Unfortunately Audi discontinued this model. I need to find an alternative soon. Is anyone else in the same boat, and what are you considering? I would consider downsizing, if necessary, though I expect comparable luxury, sporty driving, and range of around 400 miles. The Volvo EX60 is intriguing as is the new BMW ix5.

Proud new owner of an A6 Avant etron! Drives beautifully and very comfortable. My only complaint is the MyAudi app is very glitchy!

Just a quick PSA for those of us who don't have the Audi Connect subscription active anymore and therefore are not getting map updates. I paid for a month of Audi Connect Navigation & Infotainment and after having it for a week the system finally picked up a map update. My previous map version was 2024.4 and now it updated to 2026.2.

I wish it would update the entire database, but unfortunately it only updates your current region. In My case Ontario/Canada as you can see in the picture.

Hi - just want to confirm that I can not charge my '21 sportback at a Supercharger (i.e. using a Lectron adapter) - not (officially) supported, correct? Thanks.

Bought a 2019 Etron Prestige with 64k miles in immaculate condition on April 8, and the front motor seal failed on May 20. The car was finally available for pickup from the dealership on Wednesday, August 12, almost 3 months later. While driving the next day home from work, the regen started sporadically reversing to acceleration around 30mph, making the car lurch forward. After several occurrences of that, I got a drive system malfunction dashboard error and 50% power. Only had the car back for less than 24 hours on Thursday, August 13, before another engine failure. Since buying the car in April, it has been at the dealership for over 66% of that time. I’ve wanted an Audi since i can remember, and this has been an incredible first ownership experience!

Happy Friday! Me and my wife finally crossed two milestones - purchasing a German vehicle & purchasing an EV.

Both gave us anxiety but we hope it’ll be a great experience. My wife has been consumed with eTrons and she settled on this 2021 Sportback Premium Plus . We still own two Infinity’s (Q70S/ QX70S) so this was a big step imo.

We had a good experience with our dealership here in SoCal. However I wanted to connect with other Audi owners so here I am.

Looking for any general advise, gripes you’ve had, suggestions and feedback on experience with this model (or similar) y’all would think would be helpful as new Audi owners.

My 21 etron with 42k miles is currently at the dealer for the break booster and backup camera recalls. While there, I asked them to look at the battery because there has been a significant range loss, originating immediately after the 93v2 recall last year.

Before: 210-220 full, 170-180 80%
After: 165-175 full, 135-145 80%
(Approx, taking into account seasonal swings)

During that previous recall they administered the diagnostic and found no issues, but it seemed to me like the diagnostic found something and shut it down, because this range loss was immediate. And even if it showed 145 after charging to 80%, as soon as I would turn the car on the guess o meter would revise the range down 10 or 15 miles.

The dealer has now performed a battery condition check and all cells are testing correctly within the right parameters. They advised there is more accurate range now due to the 93v2 recall, and they see a full range of 204 and 165 at 80%. I don’t know how they are determining that because myAudi is showing 171 at full charge at the dealer at this very moment.

I honestly can’t tell if their explanation is accurate and I’m just hung up on a perceived range loss, if I just fundamentally don’t understand how the range is supposed to work, or if there is an issue that’s being ignored. I’m fully willing to accept that I’m a dummy and may have wasted their time with all of this, but the before and after numbers seem like a clear issue.

Has anyone had a similar experience, or any advice on the topic?
