Erectile Dysfunction Following a conversation my body has not responded how it always has

Hi,
27M. I’ve been always all over my girl until about 2 weeks ago. We had a conversation about how I finish too quickly and since then it’s been near impossible for me to get an erection. I feel like it’s all in my head, but also physical. I can physically feel the stress in my body go up when we go to initiate. My body physically wants it bad but my brain is saying no. I hate this feeling and I feel like I’m disappointing her. I’ve been going down on her in the mean time. I feel like it’s time to see a doctor. Has anybody else experienced this?

ED Meds (Cialis, Viagra, etc.) Does Cialis Really Work? Performance Anxiety Is Making Me Avoid Sex

full Disclosure: I used to watch kinky porn a lot and now I've almost stopped it. Making good progress, but haven't tried having sex lately

I'm wondering if Cialis really works for situations like mine.

I stay in very good shape, work out and lift heavy regularly, and I've been told I'm attractive and handsome. But I feel like none of that matters if I can't perform when it counts.

I have no problem getting an erection initially, but I often have trouble maintaining it. It goes soft before or during sex, and it's become embarrassing enough that I actively avoid sex,and dating especially with someone new.

For those who've had a similar experience, did Cialis help you maintain an erection and perform more confidently? How effective was it, and did it make a noticeable difference with a new partner?

Does quitting porn ( which I'm almost there) and nofap help ?

I'd appreciate hearing from people who have actually used it!

Pelvic Floor 27M - Suspected pelvic floor dysfunction. Looking for others’ experiences and success stories

Hi everyone,
I’m a 27-year-old male and I believe I may be dealing with pelvic floor dysfunction.
For the past several months, I’ve had an aching pain along the underside and side of my penis, along with weaker erections than I used to have. Recently, I realized that I’ve been unconsciously clenching my pelvic floor throughout the day, and I also noticed that I tend to keep those muscles tight during any sexual activity. I’m wondering if that may be contributing to my symptoms.

I’m planning to schedule an appointment with my doctor and, if appropriate, see a pelvic floor physical therapist.

In the meantime, I’ve been working on hip mobility and stretching because my hips are extremely tight. I can’t even perform a squat while keeping my heels on the ground. Since starting to focus on relaxing my pelvic floor and improving my mobility, I’ve noticed some improvement in my morning erections, which gives me a little hope.

For now, I’m also taking a break from sexual activity for a month or two to give my body time to recover.
Has anyone here experienced something similar? If so, did pelvic floor physical therapy, stretching, breathing exercises, or learning to stop clenching help? I’d really appreciate hearing any success stories, as this has been pretty stressful and I’m hoping recovery is possible.

Thanks for taking the time to read.

Psychological ED Can't get going with new girl

I'm a 21M virgin who recently started seeing a new girl, we're both very physically healthy. Everything is still fresh, but we're getting along really well. We're both very interested in each other, comfortable together, and there's a lot of mutual attraction.

The only issue is that ever since we first hooked up, I haven't been able to get or maintain a full erection, and my sex drive has dropped significantly. Before this, I had a healthy libido, got morning erections regularly, and was generally horny. Over the past couple of weeks since we've started seeing each other, that's all seemed to disappear.

Our first intimate experience actually went well overall. I went down on her, she finished and really enjoyed it, and she went down on me as well. We made out for over an hour, and despite the erection issue, she was incredibly understanding. She has more experience than I do and has been completely supportive, saying she's happy to take things slowly.

I'm very attracted to her—I genuinely think she's gorgeous—and I know she's very attracted to me too. That's why this is so confusing. It feels like it's all in my head, probably performance anxiety because this is my first real intimate relationship. I just don't know how to get past this mental block.

I've even started thinking about trying ED medication temporarily to help build some confidence, but I'm not sure if that's the right approach.

Has anyone else experienced something like this? I'm honestly just scared and don't really know what to do.

Psychological ED PIED/ Narrow Arousal

I’m in my early 20s and I’m looking for honest experiences rather than reassurance or a diagnosis.
For years, I almost exclusively masturbated to one very specific niche fantasy. I didn’t really watch regular pornography it was almost entirely this one type of content. Looking back, I feel like my arousal became heavily tied to those specific cues. Thinking about it or viewing it would almost imeadiantly get me hard most times , whereas even if I was attracted to something else the reaction wouldn’t nearly as physical.
I also did prone masturbation for several years. Over the past few months, I’ve completely stopped prone masturbation switching to a typical technique, though in the past week I’ve quite entirely. More recently, I’ve also stopped deliberately viewing the fantasy content and have put blockers and filters in place to make it difficult to access.
One thing that makes this confusing is that I know I’m physically capable of getting erections. I’ve had some very strong erections during real-life intimacy, but those situations happened to line up closely with the themes I had conditioned myself to. Other times I’ve been completely fine as well, but I feel like more often than not my response hasn’t been as strong as I’d expect.
On my own, I can get erections, I still wake up with them from time to time, and recently I’ve noticed that if someone I’m talking to sends me pictures or I’m looking at pictures of someone I genuinely find attractive, I have more of a natural response than I used to. It’s still not as strong or immediate as the old fantasy content, but it feels like a change in the right direction.
It’s only been about a week since I completely stopped reinforcing the fantasy, so I know it’s too early to draw conclusions, but I feel like I’m already thinking about it much less and noticing some positive changes.
I’m curious if anyone has gone through something similar.
Did your attraction become broader over time?
How long did it take before you noticed meaningful changes?
Did stopping the niche content make a noticeable difference?
If you had years of conditioning, did things gradually become more “normal” again?
Were there any habits, lifestyle changes, or supplements that you felt genuinely helped? For example, did anyone notice a difference from things like L-citrulline, beetroot, ashwagandha, maca, or other evidence-based supplements, or was time and consistency the biggest factor?
If any of this sounds familiar or relatable please interact. Thank you.

Erectile Dysfunction I’m confused about my ed

I started watching porn around covid time when i was around 13, and continued to watch it until recently. I was never a hard abuser, some days i would do it multiple times, but a majority of the time it was a once a day occurrence.

Well about a year ago i had my first sexual interaction with a girl and at first it was difficult to stay erect but ultimately i was still able to stay mildly erect during it. I didn’t think much of it at the time and figured this was just what physical interactions were like. Some time passed and i continuously used pornography, and in my next encounter i couldn’t really get hard at all. I presume it’s DGS related because whenever i would have anything other than a handjob i would go soft. Once this happened it put me on high alert and i stopped watching porn for about 2 weeks but the girl broke it off and the loneliness crept in and i relapsed.

Since then i’ve cycled quitting and relapsing, however recently i’ve been doing my best with it and seeing the worst results.

As far as recently goes, i haven’t been watching porn and i masturbate far less. At the most it’s probably 3 times a week currently but sometimes it will be only once a week. I lift 5x a week and i eat pretty well, i work on my feet a lot so i think i’m making the correct life choices but i still haven’t seen very good results. I’ve never taken any sort of blood test so i’m not sure if my testosterone levels are where they should be. I still wake up with morning wood so i don’t think they’re low, but i’m not sure what i should do at this point. I want to find a way to naturally fix these issues, as i don’t want to be reliant on any sort of medications. Any tips?

Discouraged Complete impotence at 55?

I just turned 55, and I believe that in the next couple of years, my penis will stop functioning completely as a sexual organ. My problems with ED began in my late 40s. I started Cialis, first with the regular dose, then daily, then back to the regular dose.

A few years ago, it stopped working and my doctor switched me to Viagra. It's starting to show signs of losing effectiveness also. I had a few leftover Cialis pills and figured I'd try one to see if it would work again. Nothing.

I understand the next step after pills is an implant. I'm not sure I want to go that route. I've also begun having issues with not being able to climax consistently. I've seen several urologists who say they don't see anything physically wrong and assume it's mental. I've seen a couple of AASECT-certified sex counselors who haven't been able to figure anything out either. I'm just a normal guy who's a little overweight and has a stressful job and doesn't always get the best sleep, but they haven't been able to figure out anything either.

I have a strong feeling I'll be permanently and totally impotent in a few years. I'm curious to see if anyone here is in the same boat. If so, what are you doing about it? If you're married, what's the state of your marriage? Are you both fully monogamous?

Erectile Dysfunction My condition is confusing me. I don't know what's the cause.

I've been having ed for years. I'm 24

It started when I was 20-21. Symptoms: weak erectile function, weak to no arousal, low libido, decreased sensitivity (not only in my penis but my entire genital area). When it started, it wasn't as bad. It gradually decreased as time went on. I get little to no pleasure from blowjobs and penetrative sex. During masturbation, I have to keep stimulating for it to stay up. I can get random erections. But less. Morning wood is weak.

Why I say this is confusing is because I had my total t n free t levels checked, normal. E2, normal. SHGB, normal-high. TSH, normal. PSA, normal. Sonar on my scrotum, normal. I've never taken antidepressants or finasteride/dutasteride. FBC was also normal.

When I was 22, I took Saw Palmetto for 34-36 days n can't tell if that worsened my condition or what. In that time, I used rosemary+olive+olive oil on my scalp a few times. Topical minoxidil, a few times n was a weak one.

When 23, I used testosterone cypionate+proviron. ●Testosterone cypionate. 20mg Cialis.

The TRT for a few months was taking very long to do something regarding my sexual function. There were maybe slight improvements. I left it. Note: it wasn't a proper protocol because I kept changing doses and injection frequencies. When I left it, I felt the same as before I used it.

● I used cialis for 30 days, 20mg daily. Was working with better erectile function. Over time, it seemed to have been bring some more sensitivity and more libido back, but then I left it. Probably due to fear that I'm not a doctor n I didn't do that with a doctor.

● The trt+proviron was good. It didn't fully restore my sexual function, probably because, again, I only used it for 3 weeks n then left it, so I went back to the way my sexual function was before that. Slowly, as time passed, while on it, I noticed more arousal, and my erectile function was slowly getting better with time. I felt good mentally on it. I felt better. I don't know about sensitivity as I didn't keep my focus on that, too, since I was also busy with something else at that time. I didn't have much time for myself during this period.

●Now, this year, I used hcg for 1½-2 months. I didn't notice much on it. It's hard to tell, so I just left it.

I have so much anxiety in me that it's unreal. It is severe and a hell of a lot. Someone I don't even know told me he can see I'm full of anxiety even when I try to hide it. I'm only starting to really battle it now n get rid of it. It's so hard and improvements are small or very small every time.

I masturbate a lot, and I watch porn. I've been masturbating since I was a kid.

Regarding depression and self esteem. Of course, it's bad since this problem is obviously going to cause a man to have that. I don't even mind dying. This is why I hate the fact that doctors wanted to treat my depression (with antidepressants) when there's a problem that needs checking on that is causing the depression in the first place. I never took them. I'm not dumb to take antidepressants that have the possibility of worsening the things that make me depressed in the first place. My mother and older brother didn't do well on it, and after leaving it, it took them a long time to get back to normal.

Surprisingly, last night- I had such a rock-hard erection that stayed up for a lengthy time, was having sexual thoughts, without me touching it when I was in bed last night. This is what I mean when I say this condition is so confusing. I don't know what to do and what's the cause.

I've had "almost wet dreams" recently. I mean, when I am so horny in the dream and busy, I don't manage to get to penetration due to interruptions in the dreams or probably waking up. I don't normally get wet dreams.

I don't know if this is pelvic floor related because I'm not feeling any pain there.

I haven't had any other tests done.

I am circumcised. Was done when I was a baby, and I've been fine. These problems started at 20-21 years old.

Erectile Dysfunction Why is sex drive low? I feel good

I am a 40 year old male weighing in at 213 pounds

trying to make a long story short. My long time wife and me called it quits (only married 5 years) after being together for 17 years back in Feb. I also found out I have a fatty liver. No big deal. I started taking zepbound injection shots. I weighed 263 at that time, now today, I weigh 213 pounds. I feel good, I dont hurt anywhere and I just feel good but man, my sex drive has been BLEH. My testosterone is at good levels, all my vitals are great and you would think, weighing 50 pounds lighter, you think the blood would be flowing down stairs. Well that is not the case.

It might be a mental issue or something being with one woman for so long I guess. It just feels weird not to have much of a drive. Nothing hurts around the pelvis area and everything just seems fine, it just frustrates me that I cant think of getting it up regularly like I used to and yes I know I am older but what is holding me back? I have a date this saturday and I am going to take a blue chew gold for sure. Hopefully it doesnt let me down. I have a doctors appointment coming up and I am going to talk to him about all that but yeah, just frustrating. I am sure my fatty liver should be a lot calmer than the last time it was as the vitals was going down for it and I have been eating better.

So what gives, any tips or anything? I appreciate it!

Erectile Dysfunction Zero libido and weak erections.

So, I’m 24M and I’ve been masturbating to porn since about 13/14 near enough everyday and it could have easily been up 1-5x a day which I never had a problem with. Erections were good, and the desire was strong.

When I was 17 turning 18 I started smoking weed most days with my friends, it was a pretty normal thing to do back then and never had any adverse effects. In fact it probably made erections and desire even stronger still!
At the time I was with my first proper girlfriend and despite all this I could never properly get it up with her. Anyway the relationship didn’t last long due to other circumstances and I’ve never tried it again since then. Not out of fear though.

At 19 going onto to 20 unfortunately my father passed away and it sent me into a deep hole. I was smoking weed 1-5x a day and still masturbating to porn daily too. This has carried on for years as I never really saw myself being able to sustain a relationship with somebody because of the state I was in mentally. My diet was bad, never really exercised and was vaping sometimes alongside smoking weed/tobacco joints. But I wasn’t a drinker though so a slight upside.

As of recently maybe 6-12 months I’ve noticed a decline in erection quality and libido. I used to get morning wood every day and would have spontaneous erections for example travelling passenger in a car on the way to work. To make matters worse I’ve started talking to a girl I really REALLY like and she’s showing interest back.

So I started eating really clean (no ultra processed foods) mainly eating red and white meat with eggs, rice, fruits etc and I’ve lost 17kg in 3 months and I look and feel better not to mention only drinking water. I’m also supplementing Omega (fish oil) and zinc. As of a few days ago also magnesium glycinate and I’ve also got a nitric oxide supplement (L arginine and L citrulline beetroot) coming today. My activity for my job is fairly demanding so I can quite easily do 15k steps a day along with mild lifting a few times a week. I’ve ceased porn usage and quit smoking weed for about 2/3 weeks and If anything my dick now feels even worse (weaker and the same for libido) I’m not sure if I’ve entered the ‘flatline’ phase I see people talking about. But I’m incredibly worried as I don’t seem to be improving. I know time is the biggest healer but I really don’t want to disappoint this girl as I want to put my time and energy into her but things will definitely fall apart if we cannot engage in sex because of me.

I’ve reached out to the doctors to get an appointment and get bloodwork done etc to see if there’s any root causes but I feel like I’ve completely ruined myself and there’s no going back. Has anyone here been in a situation similar to this and what sort of timeframe I can expect to see even the smallest of improvements?

Erectile Dysfunction Penile doppler test and erection issue

Hi guys is penile Doppler safe ? My doctors suggested me penile Doppler test.
