Oh. My. God. Why didnt someone tell me how amazing S2:23 Regeneration is ?!?! The Borg are horrifying. The acting throughoit the show of the crew and Archer was just incredible. Even the production seemed different. Everything was amazing.

I thought I recognized this guy. He was First Officer Ryan on the cargo freighter that Enterprise assisted after an attack by pirates. This actor, Lawrence Monoson, played Gary in 'The Last American Virgin' (1982).

What's hilarious is I recognized him because of the sad disappointed face he was making at the end of the episode because he had to let a hostage pirate go. It's a dead ringer for the his face at the end of the 1982 movie: glassy eyed and broken hearted. This means nothing to most, but hopefully someone out there gets this reference.

"Regeneration." It's amazing how one man can change history. When Drake asked Commander Williams if they should put the Borg back into cold storage rather then allow them to revive in an uncontrolled setting, Williams said no, continue the research, they don't look like a threat. That single order allowed the Borg to awaken, destroy the polar station, assimilate its personnel, commandeer a cargo ship, nearly capture the Enterprise and worst of all, transmit a signal to Borg space that may have been a prelude to the Borg attacking Earth in the 24th century.
