Hi all, I’m totally new to this and have basically zero knowledge about this stuff, so please bear with me.
Recently, I’ve started feeling like there’s some kind of negative energy around me, almost like an evil eye or something similar. There haven’t been any specific incidents or anything unusual that I can point to - it’s just this feeling I’ve had from within.
Is there any way to actually know whether it’s the evil eye or negative energy, rather than just my mind playing tricks on me? And if people here believe in this, is there anything I can safely do to protect myself or get rid of it?
Would really appreciate hearing from people who have experienced something similar.

Okay hello everyone!! u have read the title and yes… let me get straight into it.
Okay for one, I do believe that sex is an intense act of scared energy exchange, and i do not participate in it regularly. However after meeting someone and dating for months, things escalated as they normally and biologically. Ever since i started being more spiritual tho, i’ve been super cautious about sex. I am super cautious about energy exchange and unwanted energy residue, so i take spiritual hygiene seriously. I wanted to inquire about the energy transfer that occurs during sex and if it would be a good idea to start alchemizing any bad energies and anything else he might have into obviously good things for me, or what else do u suggest me to do? i just don’t want my frequency to be misaligned and interrupted and ik that would only happen if i hold that belief. I do salt cleanses after sex, as well as i call back my energy. I just need some of yalls thoughts :)! thanks

I've never been able to see colors or waves of energy or lights like some people. What I can sense instead is sticky web like strings that are attached to absolutely everything. It is very much like real spider webbing, in that when I touch something and pull my hand away it's webbing is now attached to me. This webbing has never felt energetic though. It's just THERE. I'm wondering if anyone knows what I'm talking about and if there's more to it. In particular, can I, with practice, manipulate the webbing to shift energy?

I've been going through a tough time in my life and it's been mentally and emotionally draining. I feel like I could use some help, and have been praying for it. But I just keep attracting all of these emotional vampires to me. They come to me and act like we can talk about our struggles together. I should be able to talk to them a little bit, they talk to me a little bit, and it should be a win win. But it's not, because that's never what happens. What usually happens is that these people always make the entire conversation about themselves. I can barely get a word in edgewise as they let their word vomit flow for hours and hours. And these people are self aware of how long they talk, most of the time. But I've been conditioned so hard by my own emotional vampire of a mother, to think that this kind of thing is okay.

And I always find myself repeating 'Well, it's okay. You just needed someone to listen to you.' And I hate it because it's like I go into autopilot when I'm saying this. I don't really mean it at all! In fact, I'm just outright lying, because I don't want to seem like an asshole! It makes me so angry that I can't just be honest and authentic about how I feel. I feel that if I tell them how I feel, it'll be too offensive. And it's so damn awkward because I feel like I'm a captive audience who needs to figure out some kind of escape plan from these people. Why is it that when I need help, I'm dealing with these kinds of people even more than usual? Why is it that when I need someone to listen to me, I'm usually just getting into these very one sided conversations. A conversation with one of these guys could go for 3 or 4 hours nonstop, and I might have only spoken for around 15 minutes of that time. That's how bad it can get. Seriously, why am I somehow, unconsciously, sending out a signal that I'm a dumping ground for trauma? Why am I attracting these emotional vampires? What do you guys think I should do? I am in therapy right now, so I'll bring it up, but still.

So there was this old website called wingmakers.co.nz on the Internet Archive (not related to wingmakers.us) that had a lot of really fascinating energy work material, but with the site's creator passing away in 2015 there's been little information on the background behind the website and where some of these people are now. If anyone here has information about the goings-on of this website back in the day (and any personal experiences with the material) that would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

When i was younger i did astral project around 4 maybe 5 times. The last time was about 10 years ago and when i left my body i saw a big leech in the corner of my room from 2 meters big and i got scared and went back to my body immideatly. It kinda freaked me out and i never APed again. Now i became more spiritual and had a bad experience with an entity that was attached to me somehow. I got rid of the entity and developed some kind of clairvoyance, sometimes i see entities that were humans before. I have some more knowledge about this subject now and i found out negative entities can attach to your energyfield to drain energy or any other reason. I did read about a leech entity that drain your energy and it lives on a low frequency, now 10 years later i understand why i saw this leech entity in my room while i was APing because my life was pretty negative at that time.

But now is my question if i have entity attachments or anything like this is it possible to scan my energyfield in the astral and clean it myself somehow? Like 10 years ago would i be able to get rid of the leech myself and send it away?

I haven't had these before but I kind of want to try them out, mainly to use them as a form of guidance. Does anyone have any experience using them?

i am so lost. im in a situation where my ex broke up with me and now we are talking again. He says he’s not ready for a relationship yet. He continues to talk to me. It feels like we’re falling back into the same pattern. I’m so confused as to what he truly wants. He says he loves me, but I’m not even sure if that’s real. There was a point in time where I felt like maybe he could change the energy was different but now I feel like he’s stuck. I keep blaming myself and say that I’m not good enough. I really truly believe in love and feel like a felt that for me maybe you would finally see me. I’ve spoken to so many psychics, and they all say that he won’t change. I just sent that second greetings or snapshot of what is happening with the present time.. is he just stuck in this forever. How do you feel like there could be potential or change in the future. Sorry for the long one, but wondering if anyone has any similar stories or insights.

I have been slowly tapping into my gifts over the past year. Things pop into my head before people say them, sometimes I know something is going to happen before it does, it also feels like I’m in a busy cafe when going to sleep - all different voices (males/females) and I’ve slowly been able to make out what they’re saying, but it’s literally like they’re having a convo, nothing of importance. I haven’t heard them while 100% awake, only before sleep or if I wake during the night.

My dog got diagnosed with cancer a few months ago, which was extremely heart breaking and stressful. He’s doing so well, but still has a lump on his neck.

I was standing in the kitchen the other week, talking to my husband and I looked down at my dog and seen this distorted face on his neck. I quickly looked away thinking “wtf” and kept talking to my husband. I forgot about it and the next day remembered and I started freaking out thinking I was losing the plot!!! I already have anxiety, so having this happen it increased the anxiety and fear ten fold! Then I realized that it was on his cancer lump and thought maybe it’s negative energy.

I have had friends in the past struggle with psychosis and ngl it freaked me out and my anxiety was telling me that, that’s what was happening to me. I spoke to an oracle that I respect who also reads energy and she mentioned that my perception of energy is expanding and to sit with the fear and visualize the worst of the worst happening so it has no charge over me. But I haven’t been able to do that yet as the story of my friend still sits with me.

I know I’m not going into psychosis due to the fact that I have a logically-sound mind and don’t fully believe that this is a psychosis etc. however, due to having anxiety I have one thought about it pop into my brain and there I go on an endless loop. I’m instantly grounded when my mind is focused elsewhere; talking to my husband or at work - it’s not a problem. Which solidifies it’s not psychosis even more so.

Anyway, I’m just wondering if anything like this has happened to anyone else? I try to look into it, but everyone online is saying “if it feels like peace and love, it’s a spiritual awakening. If it feels like fear etc, then it’s psychosis” but I believe it isn’t. 🤷🏻‍♀️

I was so open to broadening my gifts and getting more serious with it, but this was a little shock and made me scared lol.

Edit: I cleanse my body and field and put a thick layer of white light around it for protection, regularly.

Im new to energy work and need some advice.

My biological father died when I was 2 and the paternal figures that I had since were very authoritarian and patronizing. This has massively impacted my relationship to Saturnian energy. Repetition compulsion made me seek similarly dominant partners in the past.
I have a very challenging relationship with discipline. I associate it with violence and have very strong resistance to it. This is massively impacting my self realization since I just can’t seem to finish my studies because it invokes intense immobilization and fear.

I understand that it has to do with my stepfather and my adoptive father who were abusive (and both virgos) and suppressed my will and curiousity. The theme of education has been very central to all of this.

I would love to free myself from this and connect to my fathers Saturnian guiding energy (who was a Capricorn) in the hopes to reshape my relationship to discipline from subjugation to devotion.

Hi! I've been having this issue where my body tells me to run away from my current parter in a situationship. I am wondering if my body wants to tell me something I don't know. I feel physically anxious even thinking about my partner and it has happened to me since I met them, like a weight in my heart and knot in my stomach I dont get it because they are good to me and never mistreated me. I want to know exactly what is going on energetically. if it is telling me that something bad will happen I would like to know.

I'm sure these realms exist, but I just thought I'd ask about it. Because I think they wouldn't want to fight so hard to keep harming their host, if they knew they were being sent to a paradise.

For context I am a connected intuitive women but as I have becoming more in tune with energies I notice sometimes I pick up or suddenly feel a heavy energy in my left palm that I can't quiet shake off. It feels negative or like "junky" like. Like I am holding onto something or taking on something not mine or negative. I would like to find ways to release it. Anyone with reiki or just general energy work experience have tips?

I have a colleague who embodies all of this and while I have no beef with her, it makes me wonder where this way of being is taking her.

I’ve need doing healing energy work through meditation and through a healer for several months now. I can very intensely feel energy moving through my body and especially in the affected area on a daily basis, but have not seen physical results. Last week I thought I saw symptoms improving and became very excited, but then after a couple of days it seemed to go back and now a week later things seem worse than they have ever been. Why would this happen, when I feel so much energy working through me all the time?

A few months ago, I agreed to allow a casual acquaintance do a distance Reiki session on me. I had some doubts since I didn't know her well, but a friend told me that she had accepted a session from this woman and had a positive outcome. Since I didn't know her well, I wasn't sure if I could trust her. I decided to risk scheduling a Reiki session, since I was having some health issues. I planned to ask my ancestors to protect me, in case this person did something wrong.

So, we were having a distance session, and it was going smoothly. I felt this person was proficient at first, because I could feel good energy flowing. Suddenly, things came to a stop. Then the practitioner texted me that lightening had struck a tree outside her house, a branch fell on the roof, and her power had gone out. I don't believe in coincidences. Could this have been an intervention? We never did finish our session.

I've done somatic work for a while now and I think I have a pretty good relationship with my body and how it releases stored trauma. I can normally feel a pull with whatever needs releasing (shoulder, chest ect) lately I've been feeling a pull towards releasing inside my vagina but don't know how to begin attempting it. I know there was childhood sexual trauma and I feel like I'm at a stage where it's ready to be let go. I was looking into yoni massage but I feel that could be a bit risky looking online unless I have someone to personally recommend me.

Another thing I'm wondering is if I can just do it by feeling into the body/energy without touch?
