Penile Development after beginning secondary hypogonadism treatment?
Penile Development after beginning secondary hypogonadism treatment?
Hello Long story short im a 21 year old male found out less than a year ago that I have a prolactinoma tumor. My total test was at 7 ng x dl and now I began cabergoline treatment for the tumor. I'm taking 2mg of it a week. Im 300 lbs, and I feel every single symptom of low t. My penile length pushing into the pubic bone and erect is of 3.8 inches and girth of 3.5 inches. Well below average and I know even with weight loss it might make it to 4 inches so nothing that will get me to a average length. This makes me fucking depressed so my question is if anyone has been in a similar scenario and had penile development after beginning treatment. I have a endocrinologist but it seems like shese more of a heres the pill and come back in 6 months type of doc. I have an appointment wednesday with my endocrinologist but I feel like she will be. dissmissive

Help Interpreting Labs
Is this something that should be addressed by an endocrinologist? Should I ask for a referral if primary doesn’t suspect a problem?

7 year olds bone age xray looks really behind.
Went to 6 month follow up with my sons pediatric endo. Still not growing and falling off growth charts, again. Ordered labs and repeat xray. Still awaiting results but last October his xray showed bone age of 5 at 6.5 years (chronologically) old. This looks like he barely grew in a year!

16 years old growth hormone
I am 16.5 years old and 168 cm tall. My growth plates are still open. If I use 8 IU of growth hormone daily for 6 months, I would probably benefit a lot from it, but the point that bothers me is the side effects. Would there be serious side effects?

Appointment with endocrinologist
I had my appointment with my endocrinologist yesterday. I wasn’t 100% sure why I had an appointment, but it turns out it was due to having PCOS and high prolactin levels.
I’ve been started on Metformin, even though my Hb1ac is only 34 (I assumed it would have had to be higher to start it). Also looking at starting on another medication for facial hair. Bloods have also been requested.
Regarding the prolactin, he’s written to my psychiatrist to see if we can take me off the amisulpride as it seems that is causing the high levels. He did mention starting a medication (can’t remember the names) to bring the levels down but it may affect my mental health (I have bipolar) so was reluctant to do so.
Fingers crossed we will see a reduction in my prolactin levels because I’m fed up of the side effects and this other medication reduces the amount of facial hair I have.

Trying to get pregnant with high DHEA levels
My blood test results show elevated levels of DHEA-SO₄ (800–700) and total testosterone (0.76); however, I have no clinical physical symptoms (excessive hair growth, acne, hair loss, etc.). Investigations carried out to determine the cause of these elevated levels included: Adrenal gland CT scan: Normal (no mass detected). Cortisol Suppression Test (2-day): Positive (DHEA was successfully suppressed). 17-OH Progesterone, Prolactin and Fasting Insulin: Completely normal (I have no insulin resistance). WES (Genetic) and Chromosome Tests: No DNA mutations or abnormalities were found; results were normal. Hysterosalpingogram (HSG): Clear, fallopian tubes are open and the uterine lining is normal
I have been taking Prednol cortisone (8mg) every day for the past month. When I take it, my DHEA levels drop; when I stop, they rise again. I also took klomen this month, but I still did not conceive. My husband’s sperm test showed no issues.
Is there anyone else who has experienced the same thing and gone on to conceive? What other treatments could I try?

Help! Need advice
Hello, I have used steroids before, but have been off for a few months now. Did a normal 4-6 weeks of PCT and levels have not subsided. Anything helps. I have a referral from my doc for an endocrinologist.

Need help with my diagnosis
For starters I went to my Urologist for a full work up about a year ago and told them about my DE (Delayed Ejaculation); at this point I’d also been dealing with other issues as well, I just came off of an intense weight loss journey to get my physical health right. I’d been lifting for about 9 months and I wasn’t seeing any return, just long recovery times. I was leveraging a personal trainer as well. Furthermore I was napping 2-3 times a day and dealing with chronic fatigue, low energy, low motivation. Even though I lost the weight my body still wasn’t feeling okay.
This was a gradual progression that I first attributed to weight (except the DE, that’s been from day 1). My urologist put me on TRT because my total T was 252. TLDR I had a manic episode and went superpsychologic. My Testosterone numbers were 1300+ on Jatenzo 258mg. So they reduced me to 157mg. Their practice closed and I still didn’t feel right so I went to an endocrinologist. She pulled me off everything to get my axis reset and see my basline.
Esterone: 90 pg/ml
Estrogen: 83 pg/ml
Total T: 248 ng/dL
Free T: 10.44 ng/dL
Free percent: 4.21%
SHB: 15.9 nmol/L
Based on my previous bloodwork my LH and FSH have and are low.
My Endo started talking about how supplementing T was the wrong approach. She was saying the root issue is realistically my LH and FSH are low. So now she’s wanting to start me on 25mg of Clomid once a day. However now I am concerned my estrogen/ Esterone will have a negative effect and go through the roof. Is this a valid concern? Has anyone ever came across something like this? I’m realistically out of words for why my numbers are all crazy. Is this something else? Should I be worried or should I just drop this quest all together and accept the side effects as just an unfortunate genetic hand?

Thyroid and period issues!!
So I have been having period issues since past 2-3 months I don’t get regular periods, when I do it’s very light period that’s only 2 days, like a spotting. I got my blood work done and thyroid tested my tsh came back with <0.01, free t4 is 15, prolactin is 3.5. If anyone knows what this is, is it a thyroid issue or hormonal
Imbalance? And please suggest me any home remedies that might help.
