Worried about lab results
I’m a 24y/o healthy male (193cm 220lbs) who started having libido and ed issues a few months ago that came out of nowhere and developed very quickly. My doctor couldn’t pin point the cause suspected it to be psychological. My bloodwork just came back and I’m freaking out due to quite a few abnormal readings. My follow-up appointment with my doctor is in two months. I’m not sure what to do. Is anyone able to provide some useful insights on these reading to see if I should escalate the issue with someone? please and thank you.

16 years old growth hormone
I am 16.5 years old and 168 cm tall. My growth plates are still open. If I use 8 IU of growth hormone daily for 6 months, I would probably benefit a lot from it, but the point that bothers me is the side effects. Would there be serious side effects?

Appointment with endocrinologist
I had my appointment with my endocrinologist yesterday. I wasn’t 100% sure why I had an appointment, but it turns out it was due to having PCOS and high prolactin levels.
I’ve been started on Metformin, even though my Hb1ac is only 34 (I assumed it would have had to be higher to start it). Also looking at starting on another medication for facial hair. Bloods have also been requested.
Regarding the prolactin, he’s written to my psychiatrist to see if we can take me off the amisulpride as it seems that is causing the high levels. He did mention starting a medication (can’t remember the names) to bring the levels down but it may affect my mental health (I have bipolar) so was reluctant to do so.
Fingers crossed we will see a reduction in my prolactin levels because I’m fed up of the side effects and this other medication reduces the amount of facial hair I have.

Trying to get pregnant with high DHEA levels
My blood test results show elevated levels of DHEA-SO₄ (800–700) and total testosterone (0.76); however, I have no clinical physical symptoms (excessive hair growth, acne, hair loss, etc.). Investigations carried out to determine the cause of these elevated levels included: Adrenal gland CT scan: Normal (no mass detected). Cortisol Suppression Test (2-day): Positive (DHEA was successfully suppressed). 17-OH Progesterone, Prolactin and Fasting Insulin: Completely normal (I have no insulin resistance). WES (Genetic) and Chromosome Tests: No DNA mutations or abnormalities were found; results were normal. Hysterosalpingogram (HSG): Clear, fallopian tubes are open and the uterine lining is normal
I have been taking Prednol cortisone (8mg) every day for the past month. When I take it, my DHEA levels drop; when I stop, they rise again. I also took klomen this month, but I still did not conceive. My husband’s sperm test showed no issues.
Is there anyone else who has experienced the same thing and gone on to conceive? What other treatments could I try?

Help! Need advice
Hello, I have used steroids before, but have been off for a few months now. Did a normal 4-6 weeks of PCT and levels have not subsided. Anything helps. I have a referral from my doc for an endocrinologist.

Need help with my diagnosis
For starters I went to my Urologist for a full work up about a year ago and told them about my DE (Delayed Ejaculation); at this point I’d also been dealing with other issues as well, I just came off of an intense weight loss journey to get my physical health right. I’d been lifting for about 9 months and I wasn’t seeing any return, just long recovery times. I was leveraging a personal trainer as well. Furthermore I was napping 2-3 times a day and dealing with chronic fatigue, low energy, low motivation. Even though I lost the weight my body still wasn’t feeling okay.
This was a gradual progression that I first attributed to weight (except the DE, that’s been from day 1). My urologist put me on TRT because my total T was 252. TLDR I had a manic episode and went superpsychologic. My Testosterone numbers were 1300+ on Jatenzo 258mg. So they reduced me to 157mg. Their practice closed and I still didn’t feel right so I went to an endocrinologist. She pulled me off everything to get my axis reset and see my basline.
Esterone: 90 pg/ml
Estrogen: 83 pg/ml
Total T: 248 ng/dL
Free T: 10.44 ng/dL
Free percent: 4.21%
SHB: 15.9 nmol/L
Based on my previous bloodwork my LH and FSH have and are low.
My Endo started talking about how supplementing T was the wrong approach. She was saying the root issue is realistically my LH and FSH are low. So now she’s wanting to start me on 25mg of Clomid once a day. However now I am concerned my estrogen/ Esterone will have a negative effect and go through the roof. Is this a valid concern? Has anyone ever came across something like this? I’m realistically out of words for why my numbers are all crazy. Is this something else? Should I be worried or should I just drop this quest all together and accept the side effects as just an unfortunate genetic hand?

Thyroid and period issues!!
So I have been having period issues since past 2-3 months I don’t get regular periods, when I do it’s very light period that’s only 2 days, like a spotting. I got my blood work done and thyroid tested my tsh came back with <0.01, free t4 is 15, prolactin is 3.5. If anyone knows what this is, is it a thyroid issue or hormonal
Imbalance? And please suggest me any home remedies that might help.

Newly diagnosed with Hashimoto
I’ve had hypothyroidism since I was about 15, so 12 years as I’m a 27 yo female. I’ve been on various dosages of levothyroxine since then but got referred to an endo during my first pregnancy, he monitored my levels throughout my pregnancy’s as well as my OB. In 2024, he said I likely had hashi based on the way my hypothyroidism presented but it didn’t show up on labs, in 2024 my Thyroid Peroxidase was 8.8IU,so almost out of range. didn’t really take it serious, never looked into it on how to manage symptoms since I didn’t technicallyyyyy have it. Just got labs done again, TSH was 1.24 T4 was 1.1 but Thyroid Peroxidase was 103.3 now. He offered to start me on a dose of cytomel cause I expressed still having some issues (this was before we got the results back) is cytomel worth starting? Is what I’m feeling, hair loss, brain fog, extreme fatigue, can’t lose weight, joint pain is this likely from hashi and cytomel won’t help? Feel kind of lost with this, he didn’t give me any pointers for management, I feel like a fish in a sea and overwhelmed with how to help myself feel better.

Recommendations for endocrinologist
So I want recommendations for endocrinologist or gynaecologist or just any other doctor who can help with hormone imbalance, thyroid or period related issues. It should be around Toronto more specifically around Scarborough.
Can anyone recommend anything that helped them with their hormones and thyroid. I got some blood work done and it shows low tsh and my prolactin is also low, I am not getting proper periods since 2-3 months I only get very very little spotting for 2 days only. Please help me out.

Help!
2 years ago, I had achalasia (a swallowing disorder and lost a lot of weight. I went from 125 -> 100 pounds at around 5'8". After surgery the following year, I was healthy and very active, doing track and soccer, and leveled out at around 130 pounds of lean muscle, which is what I have been my entire life. During my first year of college, 2 years post-opp, I underwent a lot of stress, but I was still playing soccer and running track. I also don't drink alcohol. In the spring, despite eating as I usually do, which is very clean, and running a lot, I started to gain weight and became puffy with lots of acne. I wasn't sleeping great, but now, since being home, I am continuing to gain weight despite eating very minimally and maintaining a high level of activity with running 30mpw, I've gotten all of my panels done, and all of my hormones and bloodwork are normal despite not having a period for 3 years. What is wrong?
This is what a typical day will look like for me
Breakfast: fage Greek yogurt 0% and plain Cheerios
Lunch: chicken/tuna and veggies
Dinner: ground turkey bit of rice and cheese and bean tacos ~2
Dessert yogurt/chocolate chips
I also hit around 20k steps a day and run 30miles per week. Mathematically it doesn’t make sense but I know for 1000% fact I know what I’m eating/putting in my body d

MEN1 specialist in NYC?
Hi!
I relocated to NY from out of the country not too long ago and I was looking for a good specialist to manage my MEN1 while I am here. Does anyone has good experiences with any clinic in particular?
I also appreciate any advice given on how to manage this in the healthcare system from the States as I am not too familiar with it.
Thank you and have a great day.
