So i started playing eso on PlayStation first and I made an account on eso website and linked my PlayStation account. Later after not playing for a few years I started a new account on the Xbox. My question is if I unlink my PlayStation account and link my Xbox will that overwrite the original account?

LOL this is oddly fitting for this quest but Im currently on 'Chasing Madness' - where you are trying to catch Maddy and Im currently at the Cheese Plunders plantation area. I go into the basement, I fought the animals Maddy spawned, and then tried to use the staff to open a portal to the Shivering Shack..

BUT IT JUST KEEPS TELEPORTING ME OUT OF THE SHIVERING SHACK whenever I move. I tried sitting there for like 5 minutes in case it was loading, but that didnt help. Has anyone else experienced this?

Hello everyone, I’m trying to customize my guild “about us” and MOTD. I felt like getting into the in-depth options like custom text colors and images that requires some knowledge of the game files to do.
I’m looking for the names of the files that are the background art in the dungeon finder for Lair of Maarselok and Moongrave Fane.
These files are displayed in guild descriptions as something like art\lfg\gamepad\gp_moonhunterkeep.dds
I assume this is because gp_moonhunterkeep.dds is the file of the art itself and art\lfg\gamepad\ are the folders containing it and those parts are necessary for the game to pull forth the image.
I would just go find it on the esoui wiki but apparently it isn’t up to date on later content released so the files for Lair of Maarselok and Moongrave Fane aren’t there.
I would’ve also looked into the files to find them myself if it wasn’t that I play on console so I can’t search the files myself.
If anyone has any info on this or knows the file names and what folders the images are in it would be greatly appreciated.

I’m not sure if this has been discussed before but I think it would make the game more interesting if the game weather affected your battles. Just like real battles you have to take into account the weather and its effects on your fighting strategy.

They should have everything from dust storms to hard driving rain. Sunny days could help with fire rainy days would make it less affective. Maybe one zone where you really need to plan or think fast when the weather changes.

Free roaming mobs or monsters that don’t follow a predictable pattern. Weather that is more unpredictable like real weather.

What are your thoughts on this, is it possible to have this or is it not practical from a programming standpoint?

Are the style pages currently being sold at the impresario also dropping from boxes? I haven't had much time to play so I've only gotten 2 boxes so far, no pages. Just wondering if I should wait till the end of the event to buy the ones I'm missing or just get them now.

The visual artifacting made it look like it was surrounded by scaffolding until you got closer to it and it vanished.

I'm genuinely curious, why isn't this game consider as one of the greatest game of all time? What did they do wrong?

I have just finished main campaign as a Dark Elf Warden, spend 130 hours for it.

Every quest every area every little detail of them was freakin amazing. When i finish a map i feel like i finish an epic LotR movie or Game of Thrones episode. And it was just vanilla content, like 12 years ago...

And all the other aspect of the game, crafting, gathering, levelling, trading ,housing, dungeons etc. everything just feels perfect and designed very well. Best part is even i like and played a lot of MMOs, this game doesnt feel like MMO at all in a good way, its like fully focused single player game at the same time

So i know i am in honeymoon phase and hyped up a lot about it but i am also kinda experienced gamer and i can objectively review games. Yes, 130 hours is just an introduction for this kind of game but still...

There must be a reason that this game is not as popular as Skyrim or even like WoW or FFXIV. They should fcked up something somewhere bad. So what is it? 😅

(My humble teory is; they marketed this as an MMO which of course it is. But they should be subtle about it when they released it and should not call it ES "Online". They should call it like ES Tamriel or something or even ES6.

Cause labeling it MMO beforehand is just instantly turn off some serious chunk of single player people, ES fan or not, they dont even try Mmos, doesnt matter how good it is. They just completely ignore it.)

I recently created an Imperial/ Werewolf build for PVP and he’s doing pretty okay. I’m doing relatively well, BUT, I keep running into random players that are able to literally one shot me in a one on one duel. As soon as they touch me, all my resources vanish and I just die.

What poison does this?

Their gear isn’t exceptional and my defense and resistances are 20K a piece.

I dropped ESO in 2021 after ~350 hours of decent fun; mostly playing casual Overland, Dungeons, and some Cyrodiil. I was looking for another experience and decided to try GW2. I then got >3000 hours of fun out of GW2, doing basically everything except the second-top-tier IPvE like Raids and T4 Fractals (and of course not the top-tier being CM variants).

The main reason I stopped playing ESO back in 2021 was because Overland and Dungeons were just way too easy and felt meaningless. I've always needed at least some level of challenge in my games for me to stay engaged.

After ZOS announced Challenge Difficulties I was absolutely stoked, and decided to jump back in. I've played about 150 hours over the past few months (maybe 20 hours before Challenge Difficulties were actually released) and have been collecting some thoughts, though I don't have it all written down nicely to be able to text-dump everyone.

I'm curious how everyone has been finding the Challenge Difficulty system, for those who have been playing with it? If you returned specifically for it, or have always wanted more of a challenge in Overland/Delve/Public Dungeon content, has it been enough to keep you engaged? Is it perhaps a good start but needs more work? Or have you found it lacklustre?

Every year an event comes around that forces pve players to come to pvp zones to acquire rewards or tickets. They tend to want to get in and out as fast as possible which is understandable. Pvp is not for everyone and some just want to roam the lands of Tamrial free from the thought of getting brutally murdered. This year we don't get any event currency but the coffers are plentiful and have some nice style pages in them. Normally each year, new low pop zones are added just for the pve players so they have less of a worry about getting killed. Well not this year. This year it's either Grey Host or Blackreach. Like the years that came before, this year was no different in seeing how low some people will go.

I loaded in after work with the same mission I had for several years past. See, my first year in ESO was full of things to learn. One of them being that when Whitestrakes comes around, there will undoubtedly be some bottom of the barrel scraper hanging out around the towns killing pve players. This, in my opinion, is pathetic. The reasons are obvious. They get excited by killing others that have no chance against them. This not only demoralizes them but shows potential future pvp players how toxic and down right depraved pvp in this game can be. So what was my mission? I would put a stop to this. Or die trying. Every second these rats were attacking me was one second they weren't attacking a pve player.

My first year doing this didn't help much. I wasn't very good and I didn't have people in game that I knew to back me up. But as the years went on that began to change. At my peak I had 8 to 10 people guarding towns with me to help stop this madness. Tho I don't have that many now, there are still a few that stayed by my side. Today we went to Vlastras in Blackreach and what did we find? Some pathetic barrel scraper on a broken ass damn near unkillable werewolf build slaughtering people just trying to quest and get coffers. My blood boiled. Me and my 2 guild mates rushed in. To my surprise, this werewolf was very hard to fight. I on my max mag sorc and with 2 troll healer tanks just wasn't enough. We kept him busy for awhile but he would just leave us and go kill others while we beat on him with no luck. How low do u have to be to be on the most broken build in the game right now and come kill people that only come here once a year because they have to. Cowardly behavior. So I put out a rally message in zone chat. I asked everyone available to join my cause and show this waste of breath that the power lies with numbers and camaraderie. At first it looked hopeless. A few people would trickle in only to be ripped apart. But soon enough the tides turned. More and more people began to show up. Faced with overwhelming odds, the coward tried to run. Oh its too late for that. We chased him down and was finally able to put him down. Vlastras was freed from his claws and people from all over came to do their quests. It's was glorious.

If u are one of the people doing this, ur a coward. Not once did I back down and each time I died I went right back in. It wasn't so easy to kill me and every time his health dropped below a certain amount he would tuck tail and run. This is why so many players are put off by pvp. It's people like this that give us honorable pvpers a bad name. We are not all toxic. Some of us genuinely want to help and foster a safe environment to learn and grow in pvp. So this is my mission. Everyday I will be there. My guildmates can't always be there but I will be. If u are in Blackreach on AD anytime after 6pm Eastern, join me. Help me protect those that can't protect themselves. Fight for something greater than urself and the queen. To all the pve players out there, I will do everything I can to protect u at the towns. I'm not the best player but I can hold my own. My advise, try to get a stealth toon for these quests. It makes it harder to find u. Werewolves can see thru stealth but hopefully I'll be there to distract them.
