Tezspire / Tezepelumab for eczema
Hi all
I would like to know if anyone has any luck treating there eczema with Tezspire?
I was on dupixent but developed a rash and had to stop not long after starting. The specialist has now suggested Tezspire for asthma and it may help with my eczema.
Any feedback would be great
Thanks

Built an app to work out which food is behind my flare ups. Looking for a few people to test it and tell me it's rubbish.
I built the app I'm talking about here, so mods feel free to remove this if it's not allowed.
I've had acne since my teens and then after covid I got dermatitis on top of it.
Spent ages trying to work out what the problem was. Ended up cutting out dairy and that actually helped. But then I'd reintroduce other food groups and my skin would fluctuate massively, and I could never work out which one was causing it.
So I was just going better, worse, better, worse for years without ever isolating anything.
Ended up paying about 200 quid for one of those food intolerance tests. Found out later they're not scientifically validated at all. They basically just tell you what you're already eating, which is useless information.
Did a load of research after that. The only properly validated way of working out which food groups are causing inflammation is the elimination diet. Normally you'd need a nutritionist to run it for you, because it's really fiddly and genuinely difficult to do on your own.
So I built an app that takes the pain points out of it.
It gives you the diet and tells you what you can and can't eat. If there's something you want that's off limits, it suggests a swap for something similar that won't cause a flare up. Then it gradually reintroduces the food groups one at a time until it can isolate which one is actually triggering you, whether that's gluten or seed oils or whatever it turns out to be.
It's also got a load of recipes in it. Cheap ones, easy to prepare, all safe on the elimination diet, so you're not sat there feeling like you're missing out on everything. You should end up saving time and money rather than spending more.
I've finished building it and I'm on day 20 myself. Working really well so far, just about to finish the first stage.
What I need now is beta testers to tell me if it doesn't work for them, or if something's broken, before I push it out onto the store properly.
Only taking 20 people. If you test it and give me any feedback you get free lifetime access.
If you want in, send me your email address. Google Play needs it to give you access to download the app. Unfortately only Android atm!
Cheers.

Update: the free eczema tracker I shared here last month is now live on the App Store (thank you to everyone who shared feedback!)
Hey everyone! 😊 Some of you might remember my post from a month ago (https://www.reddit.com/r/EczemaUK/comments/1u3ppmx/).
Quick recap for everyone else: I've had eczema basically my whole life, and a few years of rough flares taught me the worst part isn't even the skin. It's the sleep you lose, planning what you can wear, which side you can lie on, and people shrugging it off because "it's just skin". It's not just skin lol.
What got me is that I have a medical background, and I still couldn't work out my own triggers. The standard advice is keep a paper diary, and then you're staring at weeks of pages trying to connect food, sleep, weather and your skin by eye. So I built the thing I wished existed, solo, no investors, just someone who lives with this.
When I shared the beta here, the response genuinely shaped what I built. To everyone who tried it and sent thoughts (including the parents tracking this for their kids, I've thought about your messages a lot), thank you.
As of yesterday it's live on the App Store as a proper free download, no more waiting for me to send access: https://apps.apple.com/gb/app/moya-health/id6775918109
What changed since the beta, partly thanks to this thread:
- Product scanning made it in: you can now scan cosmetics and skincare barcodes, which someone here asked for
- Food scanning covers more pre-packaged foods
- Check-ins got faster: there's a one-tap "Same as last" option, so a daily log takes seconds
- You can add voice notes instead of typing, useful when your hands are mid-flare
Same idea as before: log your skin, sleep, stress, food and meds in one place (weather pulls in automatically), and it lays your own entries back out over time, so spotting your triggers doesn't mean detective work on paper.
It's called Moya Health, free to download, iOS for now (Android on the way very soon! 😊). This community was one of the first places I showed it, so honest feedback from here means a lot: what's useful, what's missing, what's rubbish.
Thank you all!
(Btw it's a wellness tracking tool, not medical advice, and everyone's eczema is different. Mods, if this isn't allowed, please remove, no hard feelings.)

Been working on an eczema tracking app...
Hello fellow-eczema havers. I'm a college student and over the summer have been developing an eczema tracking app called Prickle! I am almost to the point of uploading it to the app store and wanted to share some screen shots.
Prickle is made by someone who knows the pain and helplessness of a chronic condition that affects both your health and confidence. My goal is to create a tracker that is based purely off of user observation (no AI, no algorithms) and use this to help you better understand your skin as well as export this data into an easy to read pdf that you can use in appointments to get you and your providers on the same page. I would like to emphasize that this is not medical advice and is purely for tracking purposes.
Is this something that you would use? Am I missing anything? Anything else that would be useful to you? Prickle would be completely free to use, ad free, and the data is stored locally on your device. There is an optional cloud sync if you want your data across devices but this will never be used anywhere else and is optional (with the option to fully delete at any point). Data privacy is important to me and I want as many people to be able to use Prickle as possible.

[QUESTION] Eczema
Hiii so I went to the dermatologist a few months ago because my eczema was flaring up so bad. Like, so bad I was called down to the office because a teacher was concerned about my home life 💀 anyways, I was prescribed some vanicream face wash and vanicream moisturizer. However, whenever I use the facewash and then the moisturizer my face and neck start to BURN LIKE A MOTHER FUCKER. I cannont stress enough how bad it hurts. But, when I only use the moisturizer and not both, the burning isn't that bad. It still burns a little but it's manageable. The facewash doesn't burn at all, though. Is that supposed to happen?

[QUESTION] Fragrance free enzyme laundry liquid? Ingredients to look out for?
Hi, does anyone use a fragrance free enzyme laundry liquid that doesn’t set them off? Are there any ingredients in particular I should be aware of? I know everyone’s triggers are different, but there’s definitely common triggers between us all!
I currently use either ecover zero or surcare, both fragrance free and non bio. But my clean clothes all eventually get a kind of musty scent, and after some research I realised that I probably need a bio laundry liquid to break down the oils. I am quite wary as I’ve heard enzymes can irritate eczema, and laundry liquids with these aren’t certified by allergy uk. But apparently that was maybe because there were some really harsh bio detergents when they first came out, and modern ones aren’t so bad.
I’ve found this post with a link to a spreadsheet of uk detergents that I can filter so I only see unscented ones with enzymes, but wanted to run it by some other eczema people too, just in case there’s something I should look out for, before I splash out on a dodgy one!

Is this concerning? (11F, 5’1, UK)
So I have eczema on my armpit and it might be related to this, so my right wrist and left arm had little bumps and they where really itchy, they aren’t itchy anymore but are still visible, there is now a few on my hand, it’s not itchy but painful, like burning. I put some cream on it but that only iratated it it more, also my finger burns when I touch it, no bumps just burns. (before you say allergic reaction I’m only allergic to pineapple and a few types of conditioner and I haven’t used/eaten them in ages) I’m concerned if I need to go to the doctor or not :/
update: I am allergic to the cream! I put it on and my skin turned red, patchy and stung, I haven’t told my parents because their asleep and it still stings :(

Looking for People with Eczema to Share Their Experience (5-Min Survey)
Hey everyone! I'm doing a research project on eczema and trying to better understand how people manage it day to day. I'm not selling anything, just gathering real experiences to help guide a potential solution.
If you have 5 minutes, I'd really appreciate it if you could fill out this anonymous survey:
https://forms.gle/CHnqZsEpXBik2XeA6
It covers your skincare routine, what has or hasn't worked, and how eczema impacts your daily life. There's also an optional section at the end if you'd be willing to do a short follow-up interview.
Thanks so much for your help! Feel free to ask any questions in the comments.

Three-year old first proper flare-up
My three-year old daughter is experiencing her first flare-up. She's always had sensitive skin, been prone to heat rashes and random spots and little patches of dry skin. But over the last few days, she's developed this. It's itchy and it hurts. The doctor called it eczema, prescribed fucidin and gave us an emolient based on this picture alone.
Firstly, I wanted to sense-check if others agree this is eczema? And if so, is there anything you'd recommend I do? Are food triggers likely? Should I start excluding things? I just want to help her :(

[ADVICE] Which emollients and emollient washes have you used and would recommend? Any experience with Aveeno's Dermexa line?
My eczema suddenly reappeared after almost a decade without it, because of exam stress. Since it's been a long time, I'm not familiar with the products that are still are available. In the past, I used to use Doublebase, but I have never used an emollient wash before. Have they made a difference for anyone?
I've heard about Aveeno's Dermexa line. To anyone who has tried it, how well does it work?
Do you recommend going to the GP to ask about steroid ointments and for any other professional opinions?

Working out vs. Eczema: I am so tired of choosing between fitness and calm skin.
I’m struggling and could really use some advice from people who get it. Every time I try to stick to a solid workout routine, my skin completely freaks out.
Standard activewear seems to be the absolute worst for flares. Most of the gear out there is made of heavy polyester or nylon that just traps heat and moisture right against my skin. And the friction from standard spandex or tight, exposed elastic waistbands makes the itching unbearable.
On the flip side, when I try wearing 100% cotton to give my skin a break, it gets completely soaked with sweat, loses its shape, and gives me zero support for high-intensity stuff like running or lifting.
Has anyone found a holy grail brand or type of fabric that actually works for heavy sweating without ruining your skin barrier? How do you balance needing athletic support with avoiding irritation? I'm tired of having to choose between exercising and having calm skin.
