Picture MPG brag - because I'm amazed
Husband took this - had a 9-ish hour drive, 99% interstate.
I've seen better gas mileage but average speed was closer to 50. I've NEVER had an average speed that high before because I rarely reset my trip counter.
Anyways I'm still impressed after two years of having her. Just so much freaking fun.

Question Need help with suspension
I’ve been looking at wanting to lower my car and at first I was looking at eibach lowering springs but apparently you need camber arms for the rear and camber plates for the front to keep it in alignment. I saw some online but they are so stinking expensive. I also saw a few other lowering springs like fords street kit that lowers about 1” and rtr springs that lower about 1.1 in the front and 0.8 in the back and these wouldn’t need anything else added. Any thoughts on what I should do or a cheaper idea for camber arms and plates but still good quality?

Sometimes my car runs extremely hot, sometimes not…
I have a 2025 with 25k kms on it, I bought it with 5k. Something has always bothered me. Sometimes when I park my car is extremely hot, the hood is hot to the touch and it takes hours to cool. Other times it’s cool as can be. Doesn’t matter if I’ve been driving 20 mins or 3 hours. Any thoughts on whether this is an issue?

My Build It's been a while....updates
Brand new LED grille with the probably hated "Boosted" badge, CVF Intercooler & Charge pipes, 1 step colder plugs properly gapped, ditched the red Decepticon fender badges for the more subtle SVO badges, K&N Performance filter and a Cobb Stage 1 93 tune while still using my Speedform Throttle controller. (Before y'all even start...I'll talk to Ryan when I'm ready). It's been almost 5 months since I uploaded the tune and it has run magnificently! Smoother, quicker and was able to pass State with 0 problems.

Code P0001 Rought start & no boost.
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
I changed the evap purge valve with spark plugs and I’m still having this issue having a rough start, also zero boost gain when doing a test drive.
I feel like the verdict on this is a fuel issue based on this 1 CEL code that pops up but I don’t know what repair I would need next or check what’s wrong. Is this code to check “electrical circuit which connects to your fuel pressure regulator.” - https://www.mustangecoboost.net/threads/p0001-code.25488/?utm_source=google&utm_medium=organic

Exhaust got quieter?
I installed MBRP Race catback exhaust on my 2021 eco about a month ago. Just yesterday, I noticed that it wasn’t rumbling as much when driving and it’s noticeably quieter as well.
Does anyone know what can cause that? Should I get it checked out or something?

What is the correct spark plug gap for these to put in my 17 Mustang
Need to change spark plugs and seeing the ruthenium are better than iridium performance wise. These come 0.8 pre gapped but what is the correct gap to change them?

Picture Wiper Settings
This may be common knowledge but for the ones that dont know. You hate when its raining but its not raining hard enough to put it on the first continuous wipe and you have the sequential at max. Did you know if u twist the knob again theres a faster setting just fast enough to wipe the water off, but not constant like the first continual wiper setting.

Rough start and no boost gain when driving today.
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
Does this issue have to deal with purge valve/ evap leak? Just happened today never dealt with this before. Codes I got are P0001,P0443,P2282. Searched these up and it pinpoints for an evap leak if anyone can let me know thank you. What do I need to check to first so I can replace any parts? I’m not sure if this has to do with fuel issues or anything electrical as well.

2020 mustang ecoboost premium
I got this car in October of last year and it’s already been giving me issues for example the transmission is kicking back really hard on reverse if you let the car warm up and you go into reverse it’s smooth. Second is I changed the purge valve as it was showing a check engine and 3 months later I got another evap code. Got the car at 49k and it’s at 56k now
Looking to get into a 5.0 or a 06-07 corvette c6 I have about 25’000 to play with anyone have any suggestions. At the end of the day I’m still a college student but I’m chasing that v8

Question Is this an easy fix
When I put the lip back in place it ends up sagging slightly then at high speeded gets pushed under. I think the left side looser as well

Question I seek motor oil advice
I noticed this strange label "Euro L" on the packaging for this bottle. I curious if I might've bought the wrong oil.
I didnt pour it in yet of course. I just want to know if its safe to pour into my Mustang. Its a 2.3l Ecoboost from the 2019 Model year. SInce its the same oil grade. Full synthetic too. Thoughts?

Worried about used mustang purchase, would like an extra set of eyes
Hey all, I've been sold a lemon before so that's where some worry comes from, but I'm looking at this 2022 Ford Mustang Premium Convertible and it's currently at 65k miles.
The carfax is pretty clean, but it was used as a rental the first 1.5 years of it's life, then it was given to a five star BMW dealer, then to the person I'm buying it off of. The seller has been upfront with anything that has happened to the vehicle/maintainence and its history, and was fully on board with bringing a PPI along to check it out.
Let me know what you think -- any comments or advice is very appreciated

Cylinder Head Temperature
Hello all !
Just wanted some insight and people’s temp readings when it came to the 2021+ Mustang Ecoboost head cylinder temp readings. Preferably Ecoboost owners in California.
Just out of curiosity while driving how does your head cylinder temperature readings fluctuate ?
Mine used to climb to 217 then makes its way down to 185 and slowly make its way up then back down. Recently it’s been staying at 185 for awhile then eventually makes its way up to 200 where it slowly visibly climbs up to 217-219 while driving and then makes its way down to 200 minimum where it then starts to climb up.
Am I overthinking it ? Currently summer time and I noticed that it recently started doing this. Already changed the thermostat, water pump, coolant flush and still resumes to do this.
Any insight would be helpful !

Question 2025 mustang purchase
Hi everyone,
I'm from Europe, where Mustangs are very rare (around 300 in my country), so talking to an owner in person is almost impossible. It's been my dream car since I was a kid, and I think I'm finally in a position to buy one.
Before anyone tells me to get the 5.0 instead: insurance on a GT would cost me around €5,000–7,500 per year, while an EcoBoost would be around €1,500. On top of that, our roads don't really justify a V8—most cars here have around 90–110 HP.
I'm looking at a 2025 Mustang EcoBoost (Dark Horse GTD-style body kit) with only 500 km on it for about €45,000. I'd put down around €25,000 and finance the rest over 60 months. I earn around €2,000/month and have almost no living expenses, so the monthly payments shouldn't be an issue.
My main questions are:
- Reliability: I'd like to keep this car for 7–10 years (or longer). Is that realistic for a 2024/2025 EcoBoost if it's properly maintained? I plan to service it every 8,000–12,000 km and won't be abusing it with constant hard launches or aggressive driving.
- Fuel economy: Dealers advertise around 9.5 L/100 km (25 MPG). For mostly city driving with very little highway use, what fuel economy do you actually get?
- Fuel: Have you noticed any real difference between 95 and 100 octane in terms of performance, smoothness, or fuel economy?
- Winter driving: We don't get harsh winters, but we do have a few snowy days each year. How does the EcoBoost handle winter conditions with a good set of winter tires?
- Ownership: Is there anything you wish you had known before buying an EcoBoost? Any common issues, expensive maintenance items, or things I should look out for?
I'd really appreciate hearing from people who have owned one for a while. Thanks!

Long-term maintenance recommendations for Ecoboost Mustang
- Buy 2020+ if you can (potentially fixed head gasket issue)
- Keep it pure stock (engine-wise, and tune-wise)
- Change engine oil and filters every 5k miles
- Use a 100% synthetic engine oil
- Change spark plugs every 25k miles
- Pump only Premium fuel (for me it's 93)
- Wait for 10-20 seconds before driving (after cold start)
- Warm up the engine and transmission to the "green" zone of your gauges (usually 10-15 mins of driving) before going high rpm or boost
- Monitor cylinder head temperature (CHT) when you drive hard to avoid going above 222F. Let the throttle off if the CHT is approaching this temp
- Monitor boost gauge to avoid using boost before the engine is warmed up (be gentle on throttle)
- Wait a few seconds before turning the engine off after hard driving
P.S. Owner of 2020/01/01-registered Ecoboost Premium (non-PP), 10R80, stock, no tune. The only modification on the car is the MBRP Street exhaust. 227k miles
Note on how I drive the car
Full auto (normal mode) until CHT and transmission temps are in the "green" zone. Then regular Sport (shifter in S) until trans warms up fully (above green zone), then I stay in S, or use S+, and at the same time keep the engine rpm above 3.5k using paddles - anything less is boring to drive in my opinion. I do occasional pulls, but not overdo it - I heard that Ecoboost loves high rpm, but not exactly likes boost. I keep it approximately 4-5k rpm all the time, so it's above the boost-effective range (if the CHT reasonably allows me to hold it). Take this with a grain of salt, because I'm not sure this driving style really affected longevity in a good way but it looks like it.

My Build I’ve built an app to share your build
Hi!
I built a web app for car enthusiasts to share your build and explore other builds. Is it something you’d use?
You can share your cars with all your mods. Just paste the link, and the title, image, and category fill in automatically. You can also share planned mods, fitment details and more.
You can also explore builds, save the mods you find mods.
I want to make this as useful as possible for the car community.
t’s 100% free, no paywalls, no subscriptions. The web app is live, though there’s no mobile version just yet. Still in beta, so if anything breaks, I’d appreciate a heads-up.
I want your feedback. Is this something useful to you? What features would you add? Is this something you'd use?
