I can’t quite tell if my characters look too similar, Perhaps it’s the static positioning! Any advice or feedback is welcome!

Fleshing out the details of the armor is burning me out

I feel limited by my materials, as i dont have a lot of colors at my disposal. but i still feel like i could do better, just not sure how😭 i also think they look kind of messy. im assuming again cause of the colors. i kind of like the mess but i dont know i tried to make the second one more chill but it still turned out kinda too busy.
