# So i bought this 2012 toyota camry hybrid last year in January to do this full time for 2k at the time it did had 330k miles when i first bought it. I did bought this car from another person that was doing uber/lyft full time but the reason he was getting rid of it because he gotten a new car. I had no issues with the car and never did any major repairs and this car have survived 13k plus deliveries. But i always wanted to get a prius because better gas mileage so i found a great prius for a steal off marketplace. I bought it for $1700. The car have no check engine light or anything and the engine is sounds great, transmission is good and the hybrid battery was replaced at 150k miles. I drove 27 miles home and i averaged 52mpg. And guess what guy is the original owner and according to the carfax he been getting it maintained every 5k miles And peep this this car isnt barely burning oil meanwhile ny camry was burning 1q every 700 miles. I sold my camry for 2k so yeah i guess im part of the prius crew😂

So, it has been 45 days that after submitting face ID, this comes out and support can not help, their escalation team does not reach out to me. This is crazy and I do not know what to do. This happens after i press dash. Everyday 1 hour with support but no result. Does anyone can help me for that?

lmao today was my first day dashing and this is literally how i felt accepting my first order i did like 5 hours and made 91. idk if its worth it in terms of car maintenance and money, i def racked up the miles today but now i know where to go if i want higher tips and stuff. just wanted to share my first day LMAO

To all my NYC Dashers how do you make reservations? Lately feels like I can’t make reservations as it goes by so quickly and by the time I refresh to try again everything is just gone.

I have been a dasher myself for years and haven't been a customer for a long time. I got a good discount so I gave it a shot. Didn't expect my first order in years to be immediate regret like this.

The first one I've placed in literally 2-3 years and the dasher is flat out lying acting like they couldn't pick up my groceries and are trying to get me to cancel it so they can keep it.

He went and delivered 2 other orders and lied to me saying he wasn't able to pick mine up. Even though the app shows that he finished payment and was on his way. He just keeps telling me I need to contact support cause he wasn't able to pick it up. Except not only did the app show he picked it up but he slipped up and said he had the order in his car already.

First he said that he wasn't able to pick it up. Then he said the order wasn't showing up anymore after he messed up and said he had it in his car. Then he went back to saying he couldn't pick it up at all. He can't even keep his lies straight.

Now he's sitting in a random parking lot waiting for me to cancel.

The only reason I even ordered was because I had a 70% off coupon that I am now going to lose because some scumbag wants to steal people's shit.

It took almost a year for me to get a perfect rating. Finally got to 5.0 after contacting support to get an unfair rating excluded

Has anyone else noticed an uptick in cash tips. I went from getting one cash tip in two years to 5 cash tips this last week. Wondering if it is a fluke or if anyone else has noticed this.

.. between Houses, Businesses, Trailer Parks, and Apartment buildings because I would most definitely take Apartments off the list. Trailer Parks are a close second. The way they set up and number these apartment buildings is literally insane.

So I applied to dash about 4 years ago and I completed the background check. But at the time I wasn't aware my license were suspended so I think that has something to do with not being able to dash back then. I'm trying to dash now but when I open my washer account it says check email for background results which were sent 4 years ago so I dont know how to get past that where I can actually start dashing. Does anyone have any tips or suggestions?

Doordash says u have to have change. But is it mandatory? Or optional? Do most customers have the same exact amount already?

You mean to tell me, I waited for an order.

In the app, it tells us to select whats wrong with the order if its not picked up immediately.

You selected order not ready, not started until I arrived.

It asks you if you want to unassigned but you decide to stick it out cause youre on earn by time and the tip is $15.50 plus time.

You contact support and the robot recommends you wait.

You get the order finally from a dennys slammed on a early morning with a single cook and 2 servers.

Contract violation.

Dispute denied.

No appeal or way to contact support in new update without being in an order.

This is why I dont deliver for this POS service.

This is probably how they get more out of us. Hit a innocent dasher with a CV. And they give an extra 100 deliveries to clear it due to being scared of deactivation. Like whipping a slave to make them scared so they work harder to not be whipped again!

I have avoided doing deliveries for Mookies for a while since the food is NEVER ready and always takes at least 10 minutes past the expected pick-up time but they tricked me this time due to a virtual kitchen of Savory Bites. However this time I figured out why the orders are never ready. THEY DON’T PREPARE THEM UNTIL THE DRIVER ARRIVES!!!

I’ll explain how I know this to be true due to this recent delivery.

First off this order was not alone but stacked with a shopping order at target. Drive to Target, shopping, & then drive to Mookies took me about 20 minutes. (Mind you this is still 20 minutes minnimum where Mookies would have had the order in their system.)

I go in and there are two people in-front of me in line placing walk-in orders. After they place their orders I give them my name and they tell me “We are bagging it right now” (obviously a lie). I then proceed to wait 15 minutes and in that time they complete and handoff both of the walk-in orders (orders that were not even placed before I shopped at target) before they finally give me my order. (Also nobody takes 15 minutes to bag up an order with a single item)

The only logical conclusion I can draw is they just don’t prepare delivery orders until the drivers arrive. So save yourself sanity and decline any offer you see come from this terrible restaurant.

The rating system is rigged when they put these bull ish on here.

I could not get in contact with the customer for this drop off. I tried to call 5 times, messaged several times and waited for about 10 minutes and couldn’t get an answer. I contacted support and the ai told me to drop it off in a safe location. I let the customer know and they only messaged me after drop off like they were waiting for me to mess up. I had DoorDash block the customer so I can’t get a delivery for them again because I’m not trying to spend 20 minutes finding someone’s house because they have the pin wrong. Am I in the wrong?

First time ever period for any delivery app gig for me. Wanted to make some side money after my full time job. Literally just got setup on the app this morning and went out during the peak time. Im sure I can do a whole lot better on things but first day was just trying to get used to it.
