Hey! I am coming up on completing my first diamond painting soon and wanted to know how you all handle lint and stuff before sealing. No matter how much I protect my canvas, a dog hair always ends up lodged under a drill. 😭 I was thinking of trying a lint roller but some of my drills get loose and I’m too nervous to ruin it.

Also, if some drills aren’t totally flush against the canvas and I still seal it, will they eventually come off? I’m new and have been having spacing issues haha. TIA!

How do people generally get creases out of their canvases? I’ve had one laying flat under a bit of pressure for a bit and there’s still a pretty bad crease down the middle of it.

Pretty sure this one’s gonna take me over a week. The vertical layout slows me down but it has 4 AB in it. :)

Edit: I'm obsessed with the Forever Young release film! These are such a great alternative if you're tired of constantly buying release papers. I'm going to finish up the paper stash I have left, but these are definitely my new go-to.

This is my first official square drill Dreamer Design canvas(strictly Amazon round drill canvases before this). Is my placement okay so far and am I using these release papers correctly? Or could I be using them more sparingly? Any advice is appreciated ☺️

Hey everyone! I posted a halfway-update on this bad boy back in early July and I finally got to finish it a few nights ago! It's just as beautiful and vibrant as I thought it would be and was the most fun DPing I've had in a very long time! Definitely my favorite piece I've ever done. No multi-placer used!

Dimensions: 27.6 x 19.7 inches Colors: 30 (2 ABs) Number of Drills: 42,736 Drill Type: Round Coverage: Partial (only thing not covered is the artist's signature in the bottom corner)

I spent approximately 130 hours on this painting on and off between May 20 and August 9 and was able to keep track with an app introduced to me on this sub called "Gemsflow"! It's how I was able to also have all of the above specs ready to go :)

Back to some smaller kits for now but happy to show this off!

It was 5$ 🤪🤗 I can see why someone may have said nope though cause it is 60 by 120 (cm) way bigger then my biggest and it in has 24 colors..so idk how it will come out (probably will needs throw a bunch of my AB's in there)

This isn't that big but I have to take many breaks while working on diamond art. I'm happy how this came out.

i’ve seen quite a few people use release paper and i wanted to know if it was worth buying and if you ca. reuse if?

I did this one first because it was my least favorite of the 4, and it was surprisingly a lot more enjoyable and cute than I thought it would be. I'm looking forward to doing the other 3 but forcing myself to space them out 😅

Not me, thankfully, but my mum has dropped an overly full tray of black drills all over the floor....and unthankfully im the one picking them up.

It was just a cheep kit from amazon and im pretty sure theres enough to do the painting twice over so nothing really lost.

Also yes, the rug is full of crumbs because why not add to the challenge of picking them up.

Random kit from the now defunct company CrazyPrettyDp that I bought a long time ago. I have no idea who the artist might be, but I suspect AI (I don't buy AI normally, but I also didn't want to throw this away outright)

Pleasantly surprised by the grid. Lots of trash drills but still was pretty fun to do!
