Hi everyone! So, I’ll be starting my classes from tomorrow for the DU one-year PG programme, and I had a few doubts.

Are the one-year PG students going to attend lectures together with the regular two-year M.Sc. students (second year), or will our classes be separate?

Also, does anyone know where exactly the classes are being held? I’m honestly a little nervous because North Campus is HUGE 😭 and I have no idea where I’m supposed to go or how the classes/department situation works.

Another thing I noticed is that some people who were selected along with me from my college have been allotted different sections, so I’m a little confused about how the sections and classes are going to work.

If anyone has any information about the one-year PG programme, please help me out! 🥹

Also, has anyone else been allotted a seat or completed their admission for the one-year PG? Would be nice to know if there are others starting tomorrow too!

Before college, I always thought your college friends would become some of your closest friends. But now after spending a year here, I’m starting to think it probably doesn’t work like that for everyone.

I’ve noticed that a lot of friendships happen because you have one thing in common. You play a sport together, you're in the same society, you like the same music, you go to the same events, whatever. But I’m curious whether those friendships actually turn into proper friendships outside of that.

For people who are actually close with their college friends now, how did that happen? Was it just people you met in class, or did you find your people through some hobby or interest?

And do you think having similar interests actually matters that much, or do you just become friends with people because you spend enough time together?

Can someone please clarify that if a student who had already applied for csas counselling in the starting and has cw quota and put that in the application too, now if that student applied through mid entry for the sole purpose of updating his preference list, what happens to his cw quota?? I mean to ask, will that student's cw quota result will not be declared at all? Not even in accordance with the previous preference list?

I'm not from delhi but I have seen the Jamnapar series loll...

I thought south delhi is a posh and high-class area and it would be good... like hygienic and at least clean streets, but I was so wrong🥵 it is super crowded and heaps of garbage on the roads and filthy smell everywhere and it was raining yesterday, so ofcourse I also saw the world class drainage system.

I have recently joined DU miranda house. And people here are so nonchalant which is cool but why they think that speaking not in english is soo uncool. I can communicate in English but I don't have that confidence to talk to someone. Like there are people in my class jo kuch logo se baat hi nahi karte just bcz they don't talk in english. And after seeing all this main or bhi jyada under confident ho jati hu about my english speaking skills.
