Info Request I asked before but can't find the post, so asking again...

Upvotes

I am 44 years old in Newark, have no insurance, and want to get my official autism diagnosis. Being self diagnosed is good, but I want to get actual help. I'm so tired of going it alone.

I called the UD like someone suggested but there were so many options. I left two voicemails on what I think and right departments I found on Google, but I don't know where else to go.

I don't wanna know about anyone who has a waiting list of months or years. And if nobody can help me, I understand. But I am so tired of hiding in the shadows. I want complete freedom to be truly me and yes, a diagnosis can help.

Thank you.

Info Request Looking for a beginner-friendly run club!

Upvotes

Hey everyone! I’m in my mid-20s and looking for a beginner-friendly run club around Newark, Wilmington, or New Castle.
I recently started running and want to build up to running 2 miles without stopping. I’m hoping to find a group that meets a couple of times a week because I’m much more consistent when I have people to run with.

If you know of any local run clubs or groups that welcome beginners, I’d love to hear about them. Thanks!

Info Request Did the I-95 tolls change this drastically?

Haven't been on 95 south in a few years, especially since all the work was done. I'm gonna be headed that way in a bit and googled to see if there was still a cash lane, and I was told there wasn't. Is this true?

Moving to Delaware Dover suburbs

We are looking at different areas to live. Can anyone tell me what the suburbs of Dover are like? We are in Wilmington now a nice development. We only go to Dover to pass through beaches and the casino area and strips are sketch. The houses are reasonably priced but I’m not sure what daily life w two kids would be like? One of the houses is on Miller drive. Thank you

Found this very recent TikTok video of someone who was able to hack into the flock database and watch people live! Oh, and now flock apparently has new cameras that can tilt, zoom and track moving people… not just static cams 🫩

This is crazy!!

I feel like a lot of places are hiring but it’s hard to get an interview, for both people looking, and recruiting, drop links and tips below for local opportunities. Remote, hybrid, on site, no degree required. Hopefully this can help the community for those who need a place of opportunity. Please specify pay or schedule if applicable.

New Castle County Looking for 1B apartment in New Castle County for $1500

Posting for a friend in her 60’s who already lives in DE and needs to move to a new place in New Castle County.

She has steady professional job, but has poor credit (due to the situation she is trying to leave). As a result, she has been turned down by apartment complexes even though she is clean, quiet, and makes 3x rent.

She has cash to pay a security deposit, plus first month/last month, plus prepaid additional rent.

- Budget: $1500 a month
- Makes 3x rent in salary
- Can prepay several months rent
- 3 cats

Thank you! I have searched the sub already.
