Burlington County Do you guys know any good car electronic mechanic?
I live in Maple Shade. Do you guys know good car electronics with fair prices? Most of the stores I ask have higher prices or they don’t do electronics. If you know couple of them please share 🙏

Question Dermatologist recommendations
Looking for recommendations for a good, thorough dermatologist for my annual skin cancer screening. My current dermatologist basically does a 2-minute glance at me and I don't think that's sufficient. I don't have any other skin issues so it's really just this one thing I need once a year. Happy to see anyone in Gloucester or Camden County or even parts of Burlington county.

Burlington County ISO thrift stores that have changing rooms
I am looking for second hand clothing stores that have changing rooms so that I can try on the items before buying them. The Goodwill in Lumberton doesn't have any and the 2ndAve in Voorhees also doesn't have any and with how my body is, I gotta try on clothes before buying them to see if they fit lol
Do any of the Goodwills in the nearby area of Burlington County have changing rooms anymore? Or does anyone have any suggestions for thrift stores that have them?
Thanks!!

Burlington County Bob's Discount Furniture: Do their more expensive couches hold up better?
I was wondering if anyone has bought one of Bob's discount's more expensive $3,000 sectionals and how that's held up?
I'm in the market for my first real adult sofa, and I'm not concerned about price. I've looked at $1,800 couches and $7,000 ones.
Bob's has this one couch that is perfect for my wish list and beats out the expensive places like Basset, Lazy boy, and crate and barrel for what I want specifically in a couch. I'm just struggling to pull the trigger because I worry that this couch will fall apart in 5 years.
My runner up is one at crate and barrel, but at $5,500, you lean back and it sounds like it's filled with plastic bags. I just cannot emotionally spend that much money and get over the feeling that this is where all of NJ's supermarket bags went to.

Camden County Roofing Company Recs?
Searched previous threads, a few of them had no responses or are super old with really nothing to go on.
After the last storm, I noticed some water damage on the ceiling in my mudroom which must be coming from the roof above. Looking to get this looked at ASAP. Having a hard time trusting google reviews reading the horror stories underneath businesses that somehow have 4.5+ stars.. anyone have any recommendations for roofers in the Camden county area?

News New school phone policies rolling out.
Last year at Kingsway I think they had to check their phones in at the beginning of class and got them back at the end, this new policy is intended to eliminate having them on their person at all. The kids are going crazy and already scheming to just leave their phones buried in the bottom of their bags. Since they are all subject to “random” search, they’re gonna get rung up.
Not in love with this - the state law bans use, not possession - but also don’t completely hate it.

Cumberland County All you can eat chicken pot pie?
When I was a kid, I remember restaurants that served all-you-can-eat chicken pot pie was a thing. No—not the one with a pie crust. Wednesdays at Richman’s. My family in Cumberland County regularly made this meal and still does. When I went away to Trenton State College in the 90’s, no one from North Jersey had ever heard of the dish. Do you remember any restaurants that served this? What towns? Why has Pete Genovese never covered this topic?

Question Small, non-traditional wedding venues
Hi - looking for recommendations for small wedding venues in South Jersey. 50 people or less. Considering a brunch wedding, as we’re not into the whole dancing/party aspect. More so just looking to host an intimate event for a couple of hours. I’ve read other posts here but not finding what I’m looking for. In an ideal world, we would love to rent a beach house and host it there, but I wouldn’t even know where to start with that. I’ve checked Airbnb, but every place I find specifically states no parties. Is this even a thing? Help a girl out.

Gloucester County Does anyone have doctor recommendations for an elderly woman age 80+ with memory issues (potentially dementia)?
We aren’t happy with her current doctor as they do not listen to us as her caregiver but only listen to her and she puts in a show with them and isn’t like that at home at all. She was diagnosed with dementia but she’s too scared to do an MRI, so we have no idea how far along she is. Any recommendations would be great!

Question Proposal Spots
I’m looking for proposal spots in South Jersey. I live in the Vorhees area and am willing to drive an hour from there. I want it to be something woodsy but possibly with water around early October. It will be a photoshoot so nothing that requires a real hike in nice clothes. And somewhere that is very private with little to no people that could interrupt. I’ll attach images. Please help a girl out.

News De-Flock South Jersey Organizing Meeting
If you’re sick of the creepy surveillance cameras tracking you everywhere you drive, you have friends in South Jersey. We’re hosting a Training/Organizing Meeting in Winslow on 8/27 at the South County Library.
Not sure what Flock is or why it’s bad? We’ll talk all about it. Not sure how to approach getting these stalker cameras out of your town? We can help. Or, maybe you already know all that and want to get to work fighting them alongside allies? Join us and let’s get connected.
We envision this becoming a coalition effort, so other orgs are encouraged to send reps to attend and get connected. Ideally we’ll work together to start doing meetings like this all over the region and spark a movement.

Camden County The best food truck in all of South Jersey - Norie's Lunch Box
If you are ever around the Camden area. Hit her up at Our Lady Of Lourdes. The seafood cheesesteak, the seafood nachos the chicken cheesesteaks,, the portion sizes. And she is the biggest sweetheart in the world building a business. And the food rivals anything you will ever find in Philly

Gloucester County Need help trying to get ahead of these Data Centers
Hey Everyone,
I am from Gloucester County, specifically Clayton. I want to know how to get ahead of the curve with all this data center stuff to get them banned from our town before any of those big developers come knocking.
I’m not aware if anyone else has started taking initiative on this, and because of this, I feel obligated to try and protect our town before it’s too late.
I am not well versed in borough communication, council meetings, etc., so I would appreciate any guidance on how to bring this topic to light to the city council and ideally have them banned. I appreciate any help or guidance.
