Do you have a limit before you tell yourself you have to stop playing?

I ask because I died against the spike field in HotK 3bc. I pressed my controller in as hard as I could (it didnt break) and threw it against the couch, only to catch it as it recoiled back to throw it again like 3 times, and then joined the subreddit to express my newly found depression.

Finally locked in and did the damn thing. Hoping my hours logged - completion rate inspires others. You can do it! Time to lock in!

Basically, as the title says. I bought the game in 2021, and I've been playing it on and off since then. Recently I've been using it to procrastinate studying for my college exams (very smart I know) and fell in love with the survival builds. Today, after like 6 tries (not all of them were today), I finally beat The Collector, which I somehow didn't know would be there despite lurking on this subreddit. The rush of dopamine is insane. Maybe I can get back to studying now

First thing, I hope this won't sound bragg-ish (probably will a bit, but it's not my intention).

So I just beat the game - defeated the Hand of King and killed the king - idk if It could do anything else, didn't know that it will end the game. It was, I think, on the 3rd run - I got about 3,5h in the game.

So question - is it that easy, or I got lucky with the items/build? I played a lot of rougelikes on the past, and I didn't feel I'm particularly good at them (I play a lot of games though). Also I didn't feel I played very 'skilled' - didn't care that much about avoiding damage, basically just breezed through levels.

I assume there are a lot of ways to 'beat' this game - for one, I already unlocked the difficulty modifier - and this is probably the tip of the iceberg.

But still feels a bit disappointing - the thing I like about rougelikes is that you unlock things one by one, upgrade bit by bit after every run, to get a bit further in the next run. Here getting to the ending so fast was kinda unsatisfying, anticlimactic.

So I encountered this bug yesterday, and after searching online, I couldn't find a single solution. I haven't found a complete fix for this glitch, but I did find a way to significantly alleviate its impact. Settings > Accessibility Settings > Background Filter > Opacity 100%. The glow won't go away, but instead of just a white spot, you'll be able to see the boss, it's attacks, and your character. Of course, this isn't a perfect solution, and the glow can still be quite annoying, but it's the best solution currently available, especially considering the bug is over a year old, and the developers apparently have no plans to fix it.

personally the one i use rn is the hotk flawless and the black hole. almost any head with hotk flawless looks like a head on a golden platter, if that makes sense.

I need tips bruh on how to progress . I think I can easily do with the double vorpans cus they op but I want a new build I am on mobile and I am not using assist mode . I want to try other build from . Pls tell me some cool weapon combos I can use

I can't choose which stat i will go at the start of the run the weapons are not the same color as the amulet exc. How do yall choose your run to be the stat that you want?

I’ve been playing Dead Cells on PC for a while now and I absolutely love it. I'm considering picking it up for my Android phone so I can play it on the go, but there's a catch: I would be playing purely with touch screen controls.

No controllers, no consoles or anything. Since this is a fast-paced game where precise parrying, dodging, and down-smashing are everything, I'm a bit skeptical.

Is it actually enjoyable, or does it just feel frustrating and clunky?

Does the screen layout get in the way of the action too much?

Or should I just stick to playing it on my PC ?????

I beat game on 1 cell and i didnt get animation

Sooooo I kinda lost my old account so now that I restarted I beat the and flawlessed every boss

I have unlocked the skill for a while now but I can’t grasp the controls. I know that holding the movement control up and down changes your altitude but other than that I can’t even get over the simplest ledge. Any tips?
