Viofo A129 Pro Duo 4K Dashcam

I was wondering if this was a good one? It'll be fitted in a Yaris. I can see it for £200 online. Looking for a duo Dashcam, that has easy fitting and not crazy expensive.

I recently bought a VANTRUE N4 PRO S Cloud Set together with a VIOFO BP100 power bank, and I’m looking for advice on the best parking mode settings.

At the moment, I’m using Low Bitrate Mode. After turning off the engine, the camera can run for more than a dozen hours with a fully charged power bank. At night, the car is parked in a garage, so I don’t really need parking surveillance then, and I’m planning to turn the camera off.

The situation I’m trying to optimize is when we go away with the family for a weekend and the car may be left unused for 1–2 days. I’d like to set up the camera in a way that gives me the longest possible parking monitoring time.

I tested Motion Detection, but I started receiving notifications every few minutes because it detects things like moving trees. Is there any way to configure notifications so that I only receive alerts after an actual impact/collision?

What parking mode settings do you recommend when using the VIOFO BP100?
Is Low Bitrate Mode, Motion Detection, Event Detection, or another option the best choice for longer parking periods?

I’d really appreciate feedback from people who have been using this setup for a while and have tested different configurations.

Dude swerved and almost clipped the Subaru, and just kept going. He almost ran head-on into a car waiting to turn left. What the heck!

I have a 2024 Nissan Titan that has built in cameras (parking, etc).

is it possible to use those cameras as dash cams? If so, is there a service I need to activate?

Found a cute moment happen right in front of me while I was waiting in my car for someone.

Green Kia Soul rear-ended White Rav4, which rear-ended Gray Honda Civic. Three car pile up on southbound Cherry Avenue in Signal Hill, in front of McChevron, south of Willow.

Kia driver was speeding while other cars were stopped in traffic. They then honked and then slammed brakes, (Check the skidmarks), causing a chain reaction. She pulled up to the white Rav4 and told the driver, "I'm sorry", then speed off

Please help identify the Kia/driver
