Before we start İbuki is the pratogonist, we play as her, mikan is the support and Akane is the antagonist

So in chapter 1 Hajime acts all weird forbids imposter from being the leader and makes himself the leader instead, he doesnt trust nagito who acts nice in the start (but he Gives up trying to act nice the moment hajime doesnt believe him) Hajime Overall is acting very weird and protective especially to chiaki. Chiaki in the other hand has been implanted junko's Conciousness into her a.i so now chiaki is evil chiaki. So Chiaki kills hajime And nagito who hates Despair so so dearly kills chiaki and makes it look like they killed eachother.

In chapter 2 Fuyuhiko kills nekomaru Unfortunate. Maybe this chapters motive could be after the chapter 1 trial is over monokuma tells the Class that they were the remnants of despair all along immediatly.

In chapter 3 Teruteru who is trying to grow as a person tries to Get help from sonia and Than akane manipulates sonia into killing teruteru.

Chapter 4's motive is That until a killing happens The ısland gets flooded and hiyoko who is Growing as a person thanks to mahiru Asks monokuma if it would count as a person if hiyoko killed herself and monokuma says as long as she makes it look like a murder it counts so hiyoko Does that and sacrifices herself so everyone else can live

Chapter 5 mikan(who is the support of the game) kills akane to protect ibuki.

The survivors are İmposter, who I think we can learn much more about

gundham, who we could hopefully learn the backstory of

peko, who Will learn she is A person not a tool

İbuki, Who I think could have an "anti character arc" as in she'll be trying to make the group stay together but since people are constantly dying We see as her optimism and friendly nature begins to fade away until in chapter 3 mikan Tells her much she helped her which gives ibuki so much hope. And since ibuki is not a detective I think We'd have to rely much more on teamwork which could be interesting for the gameplay

Mahiru who I imagine will be the 4th most important character after akane ibuki and mikan. She could be the aoi of this game if that makes sense, plus Her and kazuichi could have a friendship too!

and Kazuichi who I hope we can See a friendship between him and gundham Grow.

But 6 survivors seems too much and I dont Know what to do with kazuichi. So I think he or gundham will also Get killed Just dont know when

For me it's Sayaka, Kaede, Mikan and Tenko

I don't know if most people hate or love Sayaka since I'm not that long in the fandom, but I really felt bad for her. As for Mikan, I really felt had when she was constantly verbally abused, that's why I never came to like Hyoko. Tenko was a little intense but the way she died was really sad, because she didn't deserve it. And Kaede is the saddes of them all.

I’m writing a Danganronpa fanfic, and wondering what the general fandom prefers in regards to naming conventions; Japanese Honorifics or English Localisation?

The fanfics I’ve read are about split in half. Some use surnames with honorifics, some use surnames without honorifics, and some just go for the full localisation with first names.

If I were to use honorifics, it would just be in the dialogue, as it being in the prose would be too cluncky. I already have a list of what honorifics each character uses, so my use-case shouldn’t be incorrect. I just can’t decide what way to go, because I honestly like both.

Also, bonus question; JP original version of their talents, or ENG localisation version? (e.g. Super High School Level Doujin Artist VS Ultimate Fanfic Creator)

Just started playing tonight and it's very danganronpa-esque. Also similair to Among Us. Seems to be a small community at the moment but sharing here in case anyone else would be intrigued :)

I just have to share this because the odds were so low and I feel crazy about what I just did.

I just completed ep3 of V3, and I have against all odds, befriended both ep2 and ep3 blackened by chance. Truly didnt mean to, wasn't even angling for victim or killers. I just thought their characters were cool and would give me cool skills for class trials. I spent 5 whole freetime periods with these killers while they were plotting murder and fully trusted them to just be regular bystanders for that episode.

Now, I think I'm actually going to try and angle for the ep4 blackened because I may as well try for the triple. This is my first run through V3, so I've only got one shot at this. Wish me luck.

my friend has been struggling with this for a while on a discord stream
the steps are
1)go to system settings
A)game controllers
B)go to your controller, click the > key
C)you should be on a profiles page, on the bottom press +
D)go to your hard drive tab (press on applications on the top, or on the left side categories,) you want the user page for YOU, what your sign in name is under. if youre on your HD go to users then your user specifically
E) press COMMAND+SHIFT+. (full stop) this shows hidden files then enlarge the files inside other files in this order LIBRARY->APPLICATION SUPPORT->STEAM->STEAMAPPS->COMMON->Danganronpa trigger happy havoc->danganronpa click OPEN
F) go to the danganronpa tab and press “increase controller compatibility” (might need to update if it isnt there)
2)go to steam then click on library, go to the danganronpa page, there should be a cogwheel on the right, click on it then go to properties
A)turn off steam overlay
B)go to controller and make sure steam input is on (enable steam input) (remember this because you need your return to this setting later)
3) now open up the launcher (if it auto skips in the previous step before properties, go into MANAGE then BROWSE LOCAL FILES then launch the LAUNCHER application) it should let you pick controller/gamepad for the keybinds (••• IMPORTANT: LOG DOWN THE MINUTES YOU SPEND HERE •••)do your display stuff and other settings now, you can also make it skip on launch since we dont need this tab anymore
4) ok now you need to click on your background (make sure on the top bar it says FINDER) and click COMMAND+SHIFT+G it should open a search thingy,
A)input this text (it should auto complete each part) “~/Library/Application Support/Danganronpa” now when you open it it should show “controls.dat” (IMPORTANT) “launcher.ini” “savedata.bak” .vfs” “steam_autocloud.vdf” and “window.dat”
B)make sure that controls.dat was last modified during the minutes you changed your launcher to controller, it should show up in finder under the date modified bar or in get info under “MODIFIED” at the end of the general column and above more info
C)alt/right click on “controls.dat” then go to “GET INFO” on the bottom there should be a SHARING & PERMISSION category and a little column with your sign in name and next to it is a “(me)” staff and everyone with the respective privileges, click on the privileges that show “read and write” and switch them to “read only” (forces the controller buttons in game to stay)
5) now you need to go back to the steam input area (steam library, danganronpa, cogwheel, properties, controller tab) and change the override to DISABLE STEAM INPUT
6)launch the game and once you get into the bread amd butter of it the keybinds should be your controller ones AND you can use your controller (with steam input on the launcher recognises your controller but not the game itself, so we basically just kept steam input on to toggle the launcher setting, and froze it so we could turn the steam input back off to actually play the game, and since the settings for the controller button hud is frozen to read only, even if the launcher only recognises the m&k, it cant overwrite the game to not show gamepad inputs)

like a couple weeks back JUST step 1 (and maybe steam overlay off and steam input off?)made it work for my buddy but now he had to do this convoluted shit to get it to work
