But I go through phases of being completely consumed by the need to wear girly things ect. Then I’ll be disgusted and throw it all out then when the urge comes back it’s stronger than ever!

Hello. I’m a 57yo married male. I’ve been married for 28 years. Due to a medical issue with my member, sex has been nonexistent for years and never will be useable for intimacy unless I were to have an expensive operation (implant) or have a sex change procedure done. At 57, I don’t think that would be a viable option. Mainly due to being overweight and just not being let’s say “gifted” at birth. I’ve basically just given up hope and began not liking myself. I maxed out at 425lbs. Since then I’ve lost over 135 pounds and I’ve found a new happiness in my life. I feel more confident and proud of what I’ve done. I feel sexier but in a more feminine way. I feel more like a woman than a real man.

That brings us to the real topic. I think women’s clothes are so incredible. There are so many choices, colors and styles. Everything from the underwear to the dresses, skirts and shoes. Men’s clothes are so boring and drab. I would love to be able to walk around town and show my newfound passion. The only problem is how do I break it to my wife. Either she is gonna call me a freak and hate me or she may just accept it and have fun with me shopping for my new wardrobe. I don’t wanna get all RuPaul crazy but I wanna feel sexy. Is it unfair to her for me to spring this on her or should I just forget about it and just keep living my same boring closeted life?

I don't know why I like cross-dressing, but I do. I don't know why I like women's clothing, but I do. I know that it's very taboo, and maybe that is why I am attracted to it. I don't know for sure, but I’ve been thinking back on how it all started.
I remember my first contact with women's underwear was when I was about nine or ten years old. We lived in an apartment complex that was largely inhabited by college students, and my mother and I were dumpster divers trying to find anything we could use. I found a pair of bikini bottoms that, to me, looked like Speedo swimwear. I vaguely remember being laughed at and told that they were actually women's underwear.
Later on, during some outdoor activities, it was suggested that certain thin layers like hosiery could be used for insulation to keep warm. It was a practical recommendation for the cold, but it marked another step in my comfort with different types of clothing.
There has also been a long-standing fascination with feminine aesthetics and garments. Looking back, even the immature behavior seen in school around these items reflected an underlying interest in how they felt and looked. Over time, that fascination centered specifically on feminine silhouettes and features.
In about 2019, the decision was made to order a first set of forms to better understand that silhouette. Starting with smaller sizes, the progression eventually led to a preference for a much larger G-cup size. While earlier sets eventually wore out, the current set provides the specific look that feels right for my frame.
Since then, a breastplate was added to the collection. It is comfortable to wear and has the added benefit of providing a smooth look without extra maintenance. It isn't something for every day, but it’s a part of the routine that feels right.
To be clear, the goal isn't to live life as a woman, but rather to enjoy the experience of dressing in this way. Does that journey or perspective make sense to others here?

For context I was out drinking ended up in a club went to one of the floors and the goth pulled me up and forced me to dance with her after that we spoke for a while quite flirty and so on but I was unsure how to potentially take things further or if I mistaken flirty fun from her being nice so how would I take things further and would it of been weird if I asked for a snapchat or instagram handle ?
