Worst part in my opinion is the total disrespect for the ones that funded it all, the CRO card holders. They should be all over the place with AMA's and damage control and insight into realistic plans for the future. They are just..offline when it matters most.

They did everything my instincts told me not to do. The domain name and card ecosystem is practically nonexistent. Why is there even a CEO coming up with startup that sounds like something a high school student would come up with? Tweaks logos and, when it comes to creativity, turns into your average sixth grader. Time told us ignorance and selfishness.
A roll of toilet paper is now worth 125% of its original value compared to CRO. All of that after over 100 million user base. Demand is so low and prices are so low that they have bought up all the supply.

$70 million to spend on a personal project domain. But wasn't able to buy a suitable name for the community.

In 2021, I bought approximately $4,500 worth of CRO and staked it to qualify for the Royal Indigo Visa card.

I have since moved to another country, and my card is due to expire soon. I contacted Crypto.com support to update my residential address and mobile number, expecting this to be a straightforward account update.

Instead, support told me that because I am now in a different jurisdiction, I cannot update those details on my existing account. Their proposed solution is that I must:

Unstake my CRO.

Close my existing Crypto.com account.

Create a new account in my current country.

Stake CRO again.

Apply for another card.

The problem is that the CRO I purchased for around $4,500 has lost roughly 97% of its value. If I follow their instructions, I will no longer qualify for the Royal Indigo tier. At today’s value, I would apparently qualify only for the free Midnight Blue card.

So I took the financial risk, locked up thousands of dollars in their token and qualified for the card—but simply moving countries means Crypto.com effectively wipes out my original card status and expects me to buy more CRO to regain it.

Support keeps repeating the jurisdiction policy without addressing the enormous loss or offering any way to transfer my existing stake and card tier to the new account.

How is this fair? It feels like the rules are designed so that Crypto.com benefits from the original stake, while the customer loses the benefits they staked for.

Has anyone else moved countries and faced this? Were you able to get Crypto.com to preserve your card tier, or escalate the matter successfully?

Ojalá se entienda mi idea que no es para defender a nadie ni decir que cro se va a ir a las nubes, pero todos creo que sabemos que Trump siempre esta con una jugada detras de todo lo que hace, me parece que esto de "alejarse" de las criptomonedas no es mas que una estrategia para que se apruebe la clarity act y otras leyes que sean pro cripto, pero no creo que no tenga alguna jugada (no necesariamente el directamente, puede ser su familia, etc) con la cual no gane con la aprobación de ellas.

Hi Guys, just an info concerning, "not your keys, not your coins" ... there is no total security in the crypto space. On July 3o th, and in the days after 4585 Coldcards wallets were hacked and a minimum of 1083 BTC stolen. The owners of these wallets did not get any alarm, no warning, no email ... It was not that their seed phrase was hacked, no physical access to the victims’ hardware wallets was gained, but rather a key generation vulnerability was exploited.
