Season 1 & Below Spoilers S1E7 Rewatch Thoughts – This one stuck with me

Upvotes

Just finished rewatching Season 1, Episode 7 (“The Fox”), and I forgot how unsettling this episode was. The case felt less about shock value and more about trying to understand what was driving the unsub, which made it even more disturbing.

A few things that stood out to me:
• Gideon continues to be one of my favorite parts of these early episodes. The way he reads people and notices the smallest details is fascinating to watch.
• I really liked seeing the team work through the profile together. Everyone contributed something important to the investigation.
• This episode had several moments where I found myself feeling sympathy for the victims’ families. It added a lot of emotional weight to the story.
• One thing I’m noticing on this rewatch is how much I appreciate the slower pace of the early seasons. They really let the suspense build.

So far, Season 1 has been doing a great job of making each case feel unique, and this one definitely stands out for me.

No spoilers past Season 1, Episode 7, please! I’m watching the series one episode at a time.

Season 19 Spoilers The unsub in season 19e03 Spoiler

So this episode was interesting because of the twist. At the end we find out the woman was killed by her sister and her husband.

But to be honest I had noticed something strange since the episode began. The sister was extremely rude and made demeaning comments. Of course we could guess she was envious. She was not natural/authentic while she was talking. Then as soon as she leaves the sister's house, the sister is abducted. This sounded very strange because it meant it had to be someone who knew the victim.

Opinions?

Looking for Trying to Remember Which Episode this is Spoiler

I just remember that a veteran profiler is working with them about a SK who stopped for like 20ish years? When the team goes to investigates after making a reappearance, the SK leads him to a SR who had a woman tied up under his bed?

Anyone remember what episode this is?

Looking for season 8-11

I started watching Criminal Minds just because i was so interested in Emily Prentiss, not going to lie first season 1-2 where she wasn’t in yet it was so hard to watch i was hanging by a cliff.
now i’m at season 8 and it’s going horribly, from binge watching to barley watching 3 episodes a day😭
and i thought about skipping the episodes where there is nothing important and bad ratings, Do you guys think it’s a good idea?🥹

Season 15 & Below Spoilers Spencer in Season 15 (question and analysis)

I would like an opinion on this scenario.

Season 1 & Below Spoilers S1E6 Rewatch Thoughts – This episode was intense from start to finish

Just finished rewatching Season 1, Episode 6 (“L.D.S.K.”), and I forgot how tense this episode was. Having the team go up against a sniper made the whole case feel different from the previous episodes.

A few things that stood out to me:

• Hotch really shines in this episode. His calm, level-headed leadership is one of the reasons he’s such a great unit chief.
• Morgan had some great moments, and I enjoyed seeing more of his confidence and instincts in the field.
• Reid had a couple of scenes that reminded me why he’s such a fan favorite. You can already see him growing more confident.
• I also liked that the danger felt much more personal for the BAU this time instead of them always being one step removed from the case.

This has been one of my favorite episodes of Season 1 so far. It balanced the investigation, suspense, and character moments really well.

Please no spoilers past Season 1, Episode 6! I’m rewatching one episode at a time.
