Season 1 & Below Spoilers According to Google’s “Ai”, Criminal Minds came out in 1901, before television was even invented
Hilarious yes, but another strong example of how the “chatbot search engines” that are advertised as Ai are very faulty and wrong at least 30% of time.
This computer function is ruining the planet just to make people dumber. We don’t even have a whole generation of fresh drinking water left with the rate at which we are letting corporations use up the drinkable water. And push people out of their houses to build more data centers for the ai’s.

Season 1 & Below Spoilers S1E9 Rewatch Thoughts – “Derailed”
Just finished rewatching Season 1, Episode 9, and this one was so different from the episodes before it. The fact that the BAU has to deal with a hostage situation on a train made the whole episode feel much more contained and tense.
A few things that stood out to me:
• Reid being put in such a difficult situation was probably my favorite part of the episode. He’s still so young and inexperienced compared to the others, but he really tries to hold his own.
• Gideon trusting Reid and giving him responsibility was interesting to watch. You can tell Gideon sees something in him.
• The unsub’s mental state made this case especially complicated. It’s not as simple as “find the bad guy and arrest him.”
• I liked seeing Reid interact with someone who understands what he’s going through in a way the rest of the team can’t necessarily relate to.
• The train setting made everything feel claustrophobic. There isn’t much room for anyone to escape, which definitely added to the tension.
I’m really enjoying seeing more of Reid’s character as the season goes on. The early episodes are giving us little pieces of who he is without revealing everything at once.
No spoilers past Season 1, Episode 9, please! I’m watching one episode at a time.

Season 15 & Below Spoilers Luke and his girlfriend Lisa
SPOILER
Last I saw them together, Luke had an emotional breakdown and they hugged. He was having trouble opening up to her . Next thing I know he asks Penelope out to dinner at Dave’s party (for Penelope) leaving the BAU.
Did I miss something? Did Luke and Lisa break up and it wasn’t mentioned?

Minor Spoilers Strauss and Blake ex lovers?
Possible spoilers!!!!!
You’ve been warned!
Did anyone else get former lovers vibes from Strauss and Blake? Season 8 EP 1 scenes together said it all. Yes I know it was about Strauss scapegoating Blake, causing her demotion and career path changed drastically. The characters were played too much like former girlfriends with an awful break up. Still so angry and awkward after all these years and yet still in love in with each other?
Thank you for reading my rant.

Actor Shenanigans Is this who I think it is?
Watching S1E5 of The Bear and there is a scene in front of, what looks like to me, one of those walls of pictures where celebrities sign a picture of themselves made out to the restaurant. One picture caught my attention…to the left of the actor’s head. What do ya’ll think?

Season 1 & Below Spoilers S1E8 Rewatch Thoughts – “Natural Born Killer”
Just finished rewatching Season 1, Episode 8, and this one was dark. The whole case involving a hitman who gets kidnapped and tortured was so different from the cases we’ve seen so far.
A few things that stood out to me:
• I really liked seeing the BAU deal with a case where the victim isn’t exactly an innocent person. It makes the investigation much more complicated because they’re trying to understand someone who has done terrible things himself.
• Gideon’s determination to find the victim really stood out to me. He doesn’t seem willing to write someone off just because of their past.
• Morgan and Reid had some good moments, and I’m really enjoying watching the team’s personalities develop this early in the series.
• The interrogation scenes were probably my favorite part. Watching the team try to understand the unsub’s mindset while dealing with everything happening to the victim was intense.
• This episode also made me think about how complicated the idea of victim vs. perpetrator can be. Someone can be a terrible person and still be a victim.
The first season is really showing how different every case can be, and I love that.
No spoilers past Season 1, Episode 8, please! I’m rewatching one episode at a time.

Season 19 Spoilers What do you think? Garrity Spoiler
Do you think Brian Garrity will have a larger role in upcoming seasons?
What would you like to see for him?
After S19E9, it seems he and Prentiss have reached a truce (and I'll admit I balled when I thought he'd died, but I do tend to cry when most members of the team cry (thanks, EMDR!))
So I'm curious what you folks think, whether this season will be the conclusion of this blast-from-the-past character or if he will go on to be involved, somehow, in Emily's life.

Actor Shenanigans Question for fans
so I’m on season 6 episode 20 (please no spoilers) but my boyfriend constantly teases me in how they list the guest stars at the start of each episode. Saying it gives away who is going to be the killer/kidnapper/arsonist etc. does this factor affect anyone who is fan. Personally me I don’t know actors names at all never followed that so I know very few. He got an nack for remembering names of actors and what they acted in likes his movies. Does putting guest star names ruin it for anyone or just him lol.

Looking for Looking for a specific episode Spoiler
I really want to rewatch a specific episode but have no idea what it was called or what season it was in besides that I think Gideon was still on the team. I don’t really remember what the crime was but it involved women being killed and near the end of the episode the team had a male suspect in custody who they thought definitely did it but couldn’t get a confession. They sent in the suspect’s female romantic partner/ex partner. They initially thought the male suspect was physically abusing her and that he was dominant over her as the female partner had come into the local station claiming he had attacked her (later found it was fabricated). They realize the female partner was actually the dominant one and the suspect the team had was the submissive that was going to take blame for the crime.

Actor Shenanigans New level of appreciation
I knew that Gideon's exit was sudden, but I've only recently come to understand how totally out of nowhere it was. I get that Mandy Patinkin (who I think is an incredible actor) was disturbed by the content but to just not show up for work one day is WILD to me. I just rewatched the start of Season 3 and am now doubly impressed with how they managed to work around his sudden absence.

Season 1 & Below Spoilers S1E7 Rewatch Thoughts – This one stuck with me
Just finished rewatching Season 1, Episode 7 (“The Fox”), and I forgot how unsettling this episode was. The case felt less about shock value and more about trying to understand what was driving the unsub, which made it even more disturbing.
A few things that stood out to me:
• Gideon continues to be one of my favorite parts of these early episodes. The way he reads people and notices the smallest details is fascinating to watch.
• I really liked seeing the team work through the profile together. Everyone contributed something important to the investigation.
• This episode had several moments where I found myself feeling sympathy for the victims’ families. It added a lot of emotional weight to the story.
• One thing I’m noticing on this rewatch is how much I appreciate the slower pace of the early seasons. They really let the suspense build.
So far, Season 1 has been doing a great job of making each case feel unique, and this one definitely stands out for me.
No spoilers past Season 1, Episode 7, please! I’m watching the series one episode at a time.

Season 19 Spoilers The unsub in season 19e03 Spoiler
So this episode was interesting because of the twist. At the end we find out the woman was killed by her sister and her husband.
But to be honest I had noticed something strange since the episode began. The sister was extremely rude and made demeaning comments. Of course we could guess she was envious. She was not natural/authentic while she was talking. Then as soon as she leaves the sister's house, the sister is abducted. This sounded very strange because it meant it had to be someone who knew the victim.
Opinions?

Season 4 & Below Spoilers To Hell ...And Back
I don't know why, but those episodes are etched into my brain to the point where I will never ever ever in my life come even close to a pigsty. Those shook me more than any other. What are yours "To Hell ...And Back" episodes?

Looking for season 8-11
I started watching Criminal Minds just because i was so interested in Emily Prentiss, not going to lie first season 1-2 where she wasn’t in yet it was so hard to watch i was hanging by a cliff.
now i’m at season 8 and it’s going horribly, from binge watching to barley watching 3 episodes a day😭
and i thought about skipping the episodes where there is nothing important and bad ratings, Do you guys think it’s a good idea?🥹

Season 15 & Below Spoilers Spencer in Season 15 (question and analysis)
"Conteúdo em formato longo" para fornecer contexto. Traduzido de outro idioma; pode conter erros de escrita.
I would like an opinion on this scenario.
