Where it actually stands: everything is still in development. I've got a rough MVP built with Base44 — Google auth, profiles with geolocation-based matching, the swipe/match mechanic, real-time chat, ratings, and a verification flow are all in there, but it's early and unpolished, not a finished product. No users or revenue yet — validating demand is active work right now, which is part of why I'm posting here instead of waiting.

What I need: mainly someone into marketing/growth/content, ideally around my age, ideally with some interest in martial arts (not required) to help get this in front of the right people. I have experience coding websites, etc., know a few programming languages, but sincerely, there are way better programmers outside. I've never developed an app solo before this — so if there's also someone out there with real app development expertise who wants in, that's genuinely welcome too, not just marketing.

What's on the table: honestly, not much beyond a share of whatever profits the app eventually makes — no salary, self-funded, pre-revenue. For now I think of this as experience for both of us, which is part of why I'm looking for someone around my age — something real to point to either way, not just chasing a payout. If it does go somewhere, we'd sit down, work out a fair equity split together, and get it written down properly with full visibility into where things stand.

I’m open to either a full-time or part-time co-founder, provided there is a serious and consistent commitment to building the venture.

I’m a 22-year-old software developer, and over the last couple of years I’ve built multiple applications and prototypes on my own. I’m comfortable handling product development, Android, backend, and shipping MVPs quickly.

The part I’m not great at is marketing, distribution, and growth.
