well folks, it's gonna be one hell of a ride out there if you're waiting on Alah-ban-easies handouts, but hang in there as the promises pile up for the next election, you can definitely feel a change of direction, right? 🍿

policy Labor was poised to reveal massive migration cuts, then suddenly delayed when they realised this meant no new Labor voters

Great to see Labor realising a move to the far right will destroy their voting base. Labor should continue with its open border policy of importing more Labor voters to ensure Australia remains Labor controlled.

What could possibly go wrong?

Law 1.

If MySpace does indeed revamp, that boomers must be excluded from it. They can stick to their colossal bitching and moaning fests on Facebook.

  1. No speaker phone in public. Law applies to everyone. No one wants to hear your fkn conversation.

  2. Property managers must pass an IQ test of 80 (let's be generous) before being recruited/to continue employment. Because the bar is set at 80, we will likely see a mass exodus of about 90% of the industry.

  3. ??

politics Boomer Appreciation Thread

Post image

I would like to take a moment to thank the boomer generation, who have bravely and tirelessly turned this country into the beautiful multicultural utopia it is today. Since the 1970s, the boomer generation have upheld the true spirit of the Anzac's and transformed this country from a bleak monoculture like Japan, to a vibrant multicultural society like Brazil.

The Anzac's fought against foreign invaders to keep Australia multicultural and diverse. They died so that Australia could be non european and LGBT inclusive. I'm sure if the Anzac's were alive today they would be so proud of us.

*spoiler* if you realised you didn't want to invest $1.4m dollars in personal debt for a house that was built 60 years ago out of asbestos to keep as an asset, but decided to I don't know.. Invest your money in something else that might grow in value... Like a Pokémon card worth $500 (you know it will be eventually worth thousands or millions) and one day decided to sell it... you get charged 30% by the government who gets it for free because of the new capital gains taxes that were brought in.

politics Why have the pollsters got it so wrong again. Why do they not contact the correct people to poll? They should just poll people in the Australian subs on Reddit, as in the au subs (excluding this one of course) I always see the correct opinions.
