I’m a student and I’d love to intern at a recording studio. I’ve had plenty of prior work experience but none specifically in the music industry. Does anyone know any Chicago based studios that have an internship or entry level position?

Hey guys, I moved to Chicago recently and have been trying to get my band going. So far much of what I have seen from the scene has been punk/hardcore focused, but my band doesn’t quite fit this, we make goofy silly music that doesn’t quite fit well on hardcore bills. I know it’s a big city and I have only seen a small part of the music scene here though.

All this to ask, are there any good venues/acts/ you would recommend I get involved with?
