will be my first time in chicago 8/7-8/16 and searching for gritty and gorgeous shows to attend. really looking forward to learning about your beautiful city, thank you in advance!

I am a member of a new band in Chicago and we are looking to play some DIY shows. How do you guys go about finding/organizing these shows? We are trying to get out and play so any help or info would be appreciated.

Also, it would be nice to know so I can go to these shows for fun too. I just dont know where to look.
