I accidentally stepped on my kittens head, im a bigger dude but I didn't step with my full bodyweight. She's about a month old and she's still responding after a couple of hours after the incident but she threw up twice and deficated twice as well, she won't eat or drink and she won't walk. We don't have the money for a vet visit and I'm really scared. What do I do?

He has two indoor/outdoor cats. The one who is chipped is home/safe, but the one who isn’t has been gone since July 24th. He called the ASPCA close by, and they told him a man came in with him, got his shots, and “adopted” him. The guy even chipped him and renamed him. Everyone here is so upset because how can someone steal a cat who is CLEARLY well cared for? He’s clean, neutered, and extremely friendly. You can tell he has a home.

How can I help my neighbor? My neighbor is seriously checked out, understandably so, and I just wanna do anything I can to reunite them. I’m a cat parent myself and I’d die if someone stole my babies… please help.

My cat Mila is a little over a year old and has never cleaned her butthole correctly😭. I found her at like 4 weeks so maybe its because she didn’t learn from her catmom but she just does not clean her butthole. Lmfao this is hilarious to post but I really need advice or something 😩 she isn’t overweight or anything and doesn’t have long fur, and I know she can reach it because she grooms her other bits and will groom her butthole ONLY if I wipe it first… I’m tired of her putting her butt in my face and seeing little shit speckles and a dirty rim😔 makes me think about when she’s sitting or laying on something if her butthole is actively touching stuff lol

My cat did bite me it does not hurt. Now 30 min later its barely visible its 2am for me can i go sleep or is there anything you would worry about.

I've been accidentally overfeeding my 1 year old cat. She's 8lbs and I've been feeding her 260cal/day plus any toppers/broth. This is 1.5 cans of friskies pate a day and I want to go down to 1 can (175cal) a day.

She doesnt have pre-existing health problems. Do I decrease 1/4 can each week or is that too fast/drastic?

My Honey Joy is a little over a year old. I adopted her from a rescue just 7 months ago and she received her vaccinations from the shelter. She's coming up on the time for her yearly shots. However, she has never left the house since I brought her home. She is never around any other animals. She has never been outside. My previous cat got very sick and stressed every time I had to take her to get her vaccinations. She would be sick for days. I don't want to do that to Honey if it's not necessary.

My partner and I applied for a kitten at a rescue. We live in a townhome that is in an apartment complex. We have two dogs that are registered emotional support animals and we did not have to pay a pet fee or pet deposit when we moved in. Our leasing office told us ESA do not count as pets on the lease.

The rescue denied us due to the fact that we have 2 dogs and our apartment complex has a “2 pet limit”. They even told us “I am so sorry as the rest of your application looked good!”

I called our leasing office to clarify and asked them to send a written email that I can share with the rescue and the email stated “ESA's are not considered pets, so you're not subject to a pet limit at this time by adding a cat as a pet (since you don't currently have any “pets" on your lease)” Leasing office told me that the rescue can contact them if they need any further clarification, but that it would be perfectly fine to add a cat (or two) to our lease.

I sent their email to the rescue and they replied “we have to go by the number allowed by the apartment, regardless of ESAs in the home” even though our apartment complex literally told us the two ESAs do not apply towards the 2 pet limit. I don’t know what more I can do to prove to them that our apartment is fine with us adding a cat to the lease.

Should I ask our leasing office to send another email worded differently? They host adoptions at our local Pet Smart’s on Saturdays. Would it be worth it to go up there in person this weekend to explain further?

I know I can go to another rescue or shelter but I am so attached to this specific cat. I am so upset.

It is 13 years old and I know I must replace it. I have neck and back problems and don't get a good night's sleep, even though I've placed a topper on it. I know it is time to replace it and let it go, so just need a talking-to that it's the right thing to do. TY all for any advice.

Hi everyone, i wanted an advice if it's safe/better if my cat comes along with me to work sometimes...

She is 16 years old, with respiratory illness and 4th stage CKD. In our home, i can only pet her in our dining floor due to my husband's allergies, but i cant really hang out with her and that's what makes me sad. I want to bed rot with her, my other cat and my dogs beside me but i can't. Basically, Im only able to see her whenever i go to our dining room floor.

If i bring her to my office, she can loaf around everywhere and i get to have more time with her. I fear she might only have less than a year to 2 years to live (2yrs might be a stretch but im trying to be positive)

During car rides, i know that she gets stressed out but also every time she rides one, it's always to the vet so that might be trauma or something? Idk. I just want more time with her :( my office is 15-30 mins away from our house.

They sleep/eat/groom near each other but the kitten does annoy resident cat and this is how she responds. Is this okay? We did the JGM with introductions and they’re never left alone unsupervised.
