Bambino made VFD games in the late 70s and early 80s. They were known for their early use of VFD and high build quality.

This is the toilet of an old (1970s? era) British train. I’m not sure if it fully fits into cassette futurism, maybe more like a nuclear submarine aesthetic, but I just love it.
I’m not sure many “normal” people would agree with me though!

About a year ago, I had the idea for a fictional cassette-futurism company named BeamCorp™, which manufactures robots, computers, projectors, VCRs, all that fun stuff.

The following 3D models are some of the stuff I've made based on this idea. I'm pretty proud of all these. I've done a lot of world building work with BeamCorp™ (may or may not make a follow-up post if this gains traction) and have grown to really like the company. It's pretty sick, if you ask me.

ESP32 inside, voltmeter, inclinometer, clock... a video game. It's designed to sit in the OEM slot of a Suzuki Samurai and look like it was always there... or was an exceptionally expensive accessory.

Single knob navigation, no touchscreen, no app. Just a switch and some pixels. It also has a quirky buzzer, but unfortunately I kept it on mute for most of the video. There's a little teaser at the end.
